1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 14, 2015, 05:57:18 PM
ofcourse i chose gold

why ?
because bitcoin will bankrupt / smthing

and gold u can keep it until u die xD
This is what I like about it. It is a physical object you can keep safe for a rainy day when times are tough, you know it will hold some of it's value for a long time.

Well I would not completely underestimate bitcoin if I was you guys. Keep your gold, but also don't forget to keep a small part of that gold in Bitcoin as well.
Bitcoin is becoming the new gold  Grin

5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Man Faces 6 Months JAIL For Disagreeing With FEMINISTS on: July 22, 2015, 07:11:15 PM
let's get something straight. of course there are some people who misunderstand the title and walk under the cause when what they are doing is totally not feminism.  the defenition of being a feminist is wanting equal right is between the sexes.
Equal rights? Then which is the group that calls for being higher than men's rights? I think this is that group.  Undecided

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: July 22, 2015, 03:27:14 PM
The worst was put money thus bitcoin into bitsmart and btc-mine. These were invest into mines and level up to get more in these graphical faucets. They went away within 5 days and was not even allowed in this time to break eve. Put $30 in the time into btc-mine and less into bitsmart because it was a so call "game" according to it's developer. Now I don't see losing btc as a game anymore Angry
I learned my lesson, there is no get rich quick in the bitcoin world  Undecided
8  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Just need quick $25, can I exchange BTC for it to Paypal? on: July 21, 2015, 11:23:48 AM
A site that accepts unverified PayPal is going to be very hard to find. I would recommend Virwox to you but they only accept verified accounts. Your only option would seem to be to use PayPal with a friend who trusts you. Actually, there is one site that I know used to (beginning of 2014) accept unverified PayPal for small amounts (around $15-20) but I can't really recommend them because I've never actually tried them. Here's a link to their FAQ but I'd recommend caution unless you can find other people that can confirm they're legit - https://cryptonit.net/faq
I didn't know this about Virwox, they accept paypal unverified(no credit card/bank account needed to be verified). That would mean more susceptible to fake paypal accounts trying to do transactions. Heard they charge high fees, but don't know exactly how much. I would imagine 15-30% which nobody that has loyal exchangers would ever pay that much to do a deal.
9  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I withdraw $5 from this site to your paypal need Bitcoin on: July 21, 2015, 05:36:28 AM

14  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is the Chinese mentality so risky? on: July 20, 2015, 04:51:43 AM
They have the nature to be hardworking to strive for profit therefore Its not about the technology that driven them it is mainly profit. Basically anything that could make profit for them will be taken into their target despite that it is a nontech things or such.

If you would to compare A and B which A is a rubbish and B is the future technology then whichever could get them a profit would be their choice despite that it is a rubbish or a future technology

But this is what anybody in another culture does. That is not solely just for theirs.
If something is not done for a profit then why would anyone do it, for free?  Roll Eyes

I dont exactly get what you are trying to say but you do need to read that I dont even understand what do you mean about the words "do" / "did" and such, wonder what it means
Some people values technology and it is not about solely making profit from it but for the chinese things are different because what they need is not a technology but how to get profit , basically this means how to get profit even if it from rubbish and stuff
I am in basic terms saying, not just the chinese culture see profit as the bottom line. EVERYBODY in ANY OTHER CULTURE wants profit and will DO ANYTHING that is necessary to do it. My culture has just spilled 15 million litres of oil in the forest JUST FOR PROFIT of the oil sector. So this would be considered rubbish in your eyes, polluting and disgracing the ecosystem of their own land to gain a profit from the land they are leasing.
This is all that I am saying. GREED IS A POWERFUL THING MY FRIEND.
It will drive an entire nation to killing itself in the process for the bottom dollar/line.

Armstong did another piece on global cooling
http://www.armstrongeconomics.com/archives/34854
and I don't really know what to make of it.
Quote from: Armstrong
Our model tracks everything including climate.
So that's allready factored in in all predictions?
Quote from: Armstrong
...We could realistically see famine reach the 33%-50% level. ....... we may exceed more than a reduction in population of one-third and reach the levels of the 14th century of 50%,...
these are worldwide numbers? Can someone translate that into a percentual price increase(range)?

Every 309 years serious shifts come. The end of the severe minimum in the sun spot activity was 1715. Thus 1715+309 = 2024 will be the start of a slide into a new minimum in sun spot activity.

Seriously bad shit can result.

We are headed into really bad and difficult times.

The main upside is we are more technologically advanced by now, so we can cope well if we get organized with the Knowledge Age.

OROBTC, I am changing my opinion on the value of UNREGISTERED guns (all registered guns will be seized by the government), but only if concomitant with a community of armed men for defense (not all alone which is certain to be overrun):

The best advice I have is try to move before the SHTF to a warmer area that is either too wet (thus some drying trend won't cause total drought) or a more rarely a warmer area that is too dry that might experience an increase in precipitation due to changes in prevailing winds or something. I don't have the data on which areas were best in the last Little Ice Age. Can any one dig up this data?

And then you need to make a decision whether you trust society in that area to remain civilized; if yes then go for populated areas and depend on community. If not and you can afford it, then maybe go for your own ranch heavily defended by sturdy male family (or perhaps robots will be available soon to employ as a defensive army).

Seems right now one of the most productive activities we men could do is start to acquaint ourselves with each other and making compacts to be neighbors and bond together to be able to provide the economy-of-scale to have a small rural community defense and diversification of food production and trading.

Photo of some of the nutcases we will be up against:

that's the question. It seems impossible for this to happen. I can buy a pound of rolled oats for 30 cents, you could quadruble the costs and life would go on*.

You apparently lack appreciation of the significance of both marginal prices in economics, and also the non-linear effects of chaos.

1. With marginal prices in Economics 101...

2. When the population has become dependent on high economies-of-scale in farming, distribution, credit, government, corporations, etc., and that is taken away by mother nature and or widespread war/pestilence..

OROBTC, please document your boating trip with receipts and also show where you filed the "lost gun" report on time, otherwise you will be charged with a crime (a recent ex post facto law under emergency terrorism powers granted to the President by the bought congress and kangaroo courts) and housed in this prison which we can't really maintain with food, otherwise known as a concentration camp.

Your family members are associated with terrorism and you are being taken into custody on suspicion of aiding and abetting terrorism. You have no right to an attorney.

Edit: my point is you need to be as invisible as possible to the State (as it can overpower you) and your male community needs to be as strong as possible against marauding nutcases. If you depend only on the State for the latter, then well you end up dead if the State can't maintain law & order (or the State itself goes F.U.B.A.R.).

Edit#2: I suggest another narrative. I long ago sold my registered guns and some of my traceable precious metals, and here is the paperwork to prove it. I paid all my taxes. The remaining precious metals are stored here and here is the paperwork. As for the precious metals I sold, I used the funds to manage daily expenses which I paid in cash as evident by my cash withdrawals from ATMs over this time. I lived a fairly high life during the recent years (and if the State already knows where you live, I say also some diversifications into land and improvements on the land). No I didn't covertly obtain precious metals nor cryptocurrencies with that cash by purchasing mining equipment with the cash. I believed in documented precious metals instead.

Edit#3: very careful with entrusting secrets to "friends" who can turn against you when they need to survive.

Edit#4: my overriding point is that traditional forms of diversification could be entirely useless if what we face in the future is a 309 year cycle event. Smooth this point is also directed to you. I guess CoinCube also.

That is some crazy bat-shit level right there. 2024 is when the holy war will erupt?
Japan is getting ready right now, Their government isn't standing for it anymore is has balls to do something about it before this happens. Call in the wagon Grin
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are? When will you stop and withdrawn? on: July 20, 2015, 04:08:51 AM
Dont try greedy if you play in gambling
Because you loss. Need Control your money and self control.

Good advice there Tauja.
Words to live by especially in this day of BTC
Using it to gamble is harder to control because it isn't physical and easy to deposit and waste it really fast!
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Newbies (or Anyone) Enjoy Paid Bitcoin Tasks? on: July 19, 2015, 11:26:06 PM
These places give you mbtc for payment whihch would take you 1000 claims in order to get 0.001btc
No worth it to do these micro earning tasks.
I started from these Micro earning tasks and now my Cryptsy account showing me 0.2 btc for me these are very helpful
Yes but how long did it take you to do this? To make 0.01btc it took me constantly everyday for 4 months straight when I first started out over a year ago.
I was like what!? $2 and a bit for all that work. Not worth the time man.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do you invest your money? on: July 19, 2015, 11:20:30 PM
My investment is Bitcoin. Is it even investment? I think yes, so..
Some who are making a profit on it would say it is an investment.
The ones who are losing money on it are saying it a gamble.
It depends on which end of the scale you are on.
19  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam exchanger - exchange-ecurrency.com on: July 19, 2015, 10:57:59 PM
Don't trust any exchanger website, especially if they offer paypal as payment, you know they are scammers right away. Search the phone number on the site they have on it. See  what country the area code is from, I would only do business with companies that are local to me, meaning in the same country or atleast in the same continent.
Do a search most of all, it is a simple thing to do even if you are in a rush, type scam after your search to reveal any suspicion on them or any activity they are done in the past to victim's of their schemes.
Your credit card company should be able to do a reverse on a fraudulent charge if your credit card has insurance on it that you are paying for or is included with your particular card plan benefits. But this can take up to 30 days for them to do an investigation and they would need proof sent to them like screenshots and chat logs of the transaction(s) that are in question. If it is a prepaid credit card you are talking about, then you aren't able to do anything about it and you have lost your money, end of story.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 19, 2015, 10:14:57 PM
now i read it again i see an mistake there ..wouldnt were the word,as i were saying whales wouldnt let that happen and as i said i doubt it will get down 200 dollars ,looks like there is a huge support on it already thats why we are near 300 dollars and as someone said the train is leaving the station .
Some users would dump it if bitcoin returns to 100 dollars new users of btc would try to drop and out as well and old users as us would take that promotion to get the more we could ,because we know the potencial of bitcoin already and where it can reach and stay on the next years
But you forgot to say, let's face it whales run this market and control the prices whether it be it going up or down.
We with little bitcoin will ever be in control of how the price goes and will always be waiting to buy.
