Glad everything is finished ahead of time and presentable, good work.

Thanks DarkStar, I'm also glad everything is now set up and ready to go ^^

Ico coin?

No need to have an ICO, BitShares have the structure already coded to accommodate such index fund in the form of a smartcoin.
The market is open and the index is already tradable. BitShares Decentralised Exchange pair (BTWTY : BTS)

The work to build this index has been done on my team and my free time during these last 18 months without the need of investors.

You can't invest in the creation of this index fund but you can definitively invest in the index itself which has proved itself an amazing investment on the last 18 months. The price has almost triple !

Have a look on the other charts Wink   www.bittwenty.com

But how exactly is it made, what are the coins in it and how can I invest in it?

I'm here to share with you this promising blockchain project and answer all your questions.

Let me start by clearing a few things. I like BitShares because it doesn´t compete against other cryptocurrencies but actually, work to unify the space by providing a decentralised exchange where everyone will be able to trade without having to sacrifice his identity or risking his money beeing goxxed.
With that said, I´m not here to speak about BitShares, I´m here to speak about Bit20 which is actually built on it.
I have been working since July 2015 on this project and I'm happy to announce that it has been finally finished.

I wanted to create a tool that allows anyone to invest in the global economic growth of cryptocurrencies without a headache. Just buy something that will track this soon economic Cambrian explosion.
This tool had to be decentralised because we all know how centralised projects dealing with money end up, especially in the cryptocurrency world.
So my team and I have created a cryptocurrency index fund (ETF like). The index fund includes 20 major coins, Bitcoin, off course is included in the index.

I want to spread the information about this index fund in the crypto community so everyone can invest in a great asset that will grow as the cryptocurrency global market grows. Not something going up and down wildly, but more something like a monster slowly waking up and devouring the fiat money markets.

I want it to be a place where you can store your value with a high probability that months later, you will still have your investment intact and a nice return on investment.

I also want to spread the word out of cryptocurrencies. My plan is to start with the cryptocurrency savvy crowd and then move on to trading forums, forex, stock markets and others. This is how I aim to make new money comes into this space. The bigger the index daily volume will grow, the easier is going to be to promote it and make people interested in crypto.

The index took almost a 2 years to be fully tested and heavily reviewed. It´s finally ready and has been officially launched on the BitShares decentralised exchange on 16/12/2016. The index is fully decentralised and every Bit20 will always be backed by a minimum of 175% of its value.

Here is the evolution of Bit20 ober the last 18 month in $ :

This is 100% secure, 100% decentralised, 100% pure cryptocurrency !

If you have any question, please have a look on the website at the "FAQ"  or "About Bit20" tab. If you don't find what you are looking for, I'll do my best to answer you in this post.

The devs should contact OpenLedger or use the BitShares Decentralised Exchange to have at least one place with a market.
I know pretty well this ecosystem and community, if I can help, shoot me a PM Wink

BitShares is the first DPOS chain, it's like the grand father of this coin, synergies should be able to be found.

Hi guys, I'm new here.

I just noticed that the CoinMarketCap.com Pebble page doesn't show the supply of XPB. No supply ... no market cap, no trust at all in this coin from someone who is quickly checking the coin on coinmarketcap (wich is the first place everybody goes)

This could seem like a detail but it makes me post this message instead of buying some coins as I had planned. Correcting it may help grow your market cap a little with me buying and all the people who didn't buy and didn't post as I'm doing.

Anyone here can tell me the supply and the dillution rate ?

+1

I'll give you a COPPERTICKET for that post bro.  Good point Smiley

Thanks Fuzzy !!! I love your tickets, I feel like they will be very valuable in a near future. Sharebits worked smoothly as always.

I'll see you in a few hours on the BitShares hangout.

For the ones in this community interested in reflexions about DPOS system, governance, dev, ... every friday we have a hangout live going at 10 AM EST time.

More info and past hangout edited recording ...

Me again, it seems that registration on your forum is "currently disable".

I see that forum.ournem will be closed end of 2016 and you provide a new forum at https://forum.nem.io

If I may give you my first impression as NEM newbie. You shouldn't "decentralised" (  Cheesy ) the places where the community communicate. As a newcomer, I'm a little lost. I don't know where I have to go to follow this community.

This is the current forum and open for registration:
https://forum.nem.io

Ournem is the old forum and was migrated to forum.nem.io awhile back

Ok, thanks you, I will meet you there guys !

Btw, great project Wink

Hello guys, I'm new here.

I want to follow your project. I have time to read more than one thread. Where is the best place to follow your project, ideas, conversations, ... ?

Is the info here a synthesis of what you have on your forum "ournem" or it's better to follow the threads from there directly ?

Hello guys, I tried several times to have an invitation on slack.qora.org but it seems that the page doesn't send the mail.

Can someone add me manually or send me the mail ?

54  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: June 02, 2015, 06:05:12 PM
I finally could find the private key of the address I use to send the funds for the crowdfunding.
Don't worry about security. I did it off line from a never-conected-to-internet-netbook.

I just need now the WIF key from that private key to claim the tokens of the crowdfunding.

I'm not sure how to do that ...

55  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: May 26, 2015, 06:53:17 PM
That wallet is not imortant, I don't have funds in it. I will probably erase it and make me a new one after it.
I just need to exctact the private key from the wallet.

I try offline the " https://dcpos.github.io/bip39/" with the mnemonic words from my account.

It generate a lot things. Also a lot of address, public and private.
I'm aware of the risks of what I'm doing.

I'm almost there but I still doesn't understand something. How do I find the private key with all the information this script is giving me from the mnemonic words?

I have the public key I used to send the money. Do I need another tool or can I use this script to find it ?

56  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: May 11, 2015, 02:18:10 PM
Thanks everyone for such great explanations.

The crowdfunding is done since january. It was for BitShares Play. A decentralised platform aiming implementation of games using token and needing provably fair random numbers. It's powered by BitShares (obv Wink )

I'm not giving the private key to anyone. In the client on my computer, protected by my password, there is a place where you enter the private key you use to send the BTC during the crowdfunding to claim your PLS (token of the platform). It's basicaly like importing a private Bitcoin key from a wallet to another.

There is a place to import with a WIF key.

The only thing I still don't fully understand is what is that long string of letter and number Mycelium give mi as "private" info when I try to export.

Is it some kind of WIF key from Mycelium. Is there a way to convert it in a WIF key.

57  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: May 08, 2015, 10:28:04 PM
Hey guys,

I have the Mycelium for a few month and I've used it to send a couple of Bitcoin in a crowdfunding.

In order to claim my share (for the crowfunding) I need to export out of Mycelium an WIF private Key to enter in the client.

I'm kind of lost because I saw that I have 24 private keys in my account, each one produced with for a single transaction.

I try to go to My account > export > private > there I have a very long string of number and letter. Not a classical private starting by 5.

Here is a example I made (obv, it's not mine Wink )

xprv9yeLA9Z8kueAeFhWu4rK6uJjkSEUT3oXZarqQvVHZxcqSdjbuAA42ftgetYLHeXDtLgDjXGoSb2 Qr82Ga3nAJGUCZfy7RoqwkoR22hsmRL10

Is it that the wif key ? I've imported it in the client but nothing happenned.
