201  Economy / Scam Accusations / N.Exchange confirmed lying, ICO might be a scam. Please tag on: August 11, 2018, 09:55:23 AM
These kind of people should not be allowed to host an ICO.
They've failed to honor their contest and I wouldn't be surprise if they will never process their bounty campaign payments after their ICO.
Their CEO compromised his laptop which may have risked the data or funds from their ICO investors.

Chat log:

N.exchange opened a signature contest back in June 21
link here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4508029.msg40590842#msg40590842

After the said date of announcement of winner, they never updated the thread on who won the contest so I took the time to send them a message and ask them to give us an update.

After that, they informed me that I was the winner but they still didn't update their thread.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, You are the winner!

They've asked me to send them an invoice and I did but after that, no update again from them.

I've sent them another email on July 20 and asked again for an update and
this was Olegs' response:

I have no idea how they got scammed or if this was even real because I clearly sent them an invoice with my details.

so I asked them how they got scammed and they responded to me on

July 26

no words again after a few days and then

July 29

this was the last message I received from Oleg. Then he no longer responded on my email so I went to check if they were active here in the forum and turns out, they were actively managing their bounty.

Oleg was also seen in their telegram chat.

I tried messaging Oleg on telegram and all I get as a response was a "hi".

So I went to talk to another guy from their team, this Chirag Neb.

July 28

I was asking him why Oleg didn't sent the payment when he said that he will send the payment.

They were active on chat and was active in bitcointalk responding to their bounty thread here:

then he said Olegs' laptop was compromised

NOTE: I only got a response from them when I sent a message on their telegram chat. They were ignoring my pm on telegram.

202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature Campaigns with Merit Requirement on: August 11, 2018, 03:07:32 AM
I tried to provide a complementary list to the Mitchell's list as actually most of the campaigns listed above are not included in his list.
If you look on the last page of the thread, you can see an updated table in there. iirc mitchell doesn't update the OP daily.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.msg43685955#msg43685955
BQT and IOU is not yet on the list since it's a new campaign.

I still agree with what pugman said. I do not think that another table is required. There isn't much campaigns that have merit requirements anyway.

I chose the merit requirement as the criterion of my list as I would like to shed light on these campaigns as it is efficient approach to reduce the spam in the forum in addition to the SMAS list approach.
Believe me when I say that merits doesn't really solve the spams in the forum.

EDIT: Anyways, if you decide to keep this list you missed a new campaign today.
BlocVehicle requires 10 merits to be eligible for the campaign.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unavailable to load bountysuite on: August 11, 2018, 02:44:36 AM
I don't have any trouble loading the page at this moment. Perhaps you could try a different web browser?
Or maybe clearing your cache might fix it?

I do see the loading animation btw, but it disappears after a couple of seconds.
I did tried opening it on another website and clearing the cache but still the same loading screen.

Anyway, I've just checked again and I am able to access the site now. Maybe the site was receiving too many traffic and delayed it's loading response on my end?

Its working for me have you tried resetting your modem?
I already tried with a different internet connection and with still the same result. Anyway, it fixed itself. Thanks to the both of you.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Unavailable to load bountysuite on: August 10, 2018, 11:27:39 AM
I've been trying to access bountysuite for 2 days now and I'm still stuck with the loading sceeen.

My internet is stable. I can stream and download with no buffer but their page refuses to load.
Can someone access the site now?
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 10, 2018, 12:50:00 AM
I don’t think it is your responsibility to teach them about gambling because if you teach someone who is not interested in gambling then it would serve no purpose because in the first place they are not interested right? Only teach those who have somewhat background in gambling like casinos or something like that then they’d be interested on gambling too and that’s where you come in.

OP already stated that it was his friend that is asking him to tach him to gamble. Also what you said kinda not makes sense. Teaching someone can not result into addiction.
In some other scenario if your teacher taught you to make crochet, would that make you addicted into creating crochet? No? Because you being addicted is because you chose to be addicted. It's not the teachers fault.

It is all based on the people who have invest on gambling site. I see the people invested on gambling and made money at the same people invest on ICO and trading by loosing the money. Please go with the good gambling sites especially betting would be the nice option. I go with betting site and make investment much in ideal way. People always be greedy while they invest on gambling platform. They want to triple the money. Instead of that they can look around the best team or player who will win for sure. That idea will work without any loose in your gambling career.

I understand why you would suggest that investing in ICOs are somewhat the same when people uses their money in gambling. Both ICOs and gambling have their own risks but I think that it's riskier to put your money on the latter. At least in a successful ICO, you are guaranteed to get profit, that is if you know which ICO to put your money. Gambling on the other hand is a game of luck. The chance of taking home a profit is 50-50 and maybe even lower.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: August 09, 2018, 04:56:23 PM
There are a lot of ICO with promising products. In fact, many projects launch ICO because they want to reach the next level and make a company more successful.

This is a case to case basis tho. Not every ICO have a legitimate product and even if they do, some doesn't even work on their product in the first place. I mean, I've seen ICO which have a good product to offer but after ICO it was never materialized. All words and promises, no actual completion.

Quote
Do you use or plan using these products?
Well, ofcourse? Atleast those products that are actually good. If using their products have incentives then why not?
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: August 09, 2018, 05:32:01 AM
Hi guys is there anyone knowing anything about Martingale strategy? I'm new on it and i'd like to start to use it in online roulettes. Do u think that it worth trying using it if my budget is roughly 2kŁ? I found this guide https://casino.guru/roulette-scam-strategies and they say it's better not to use it; but i have friends who won real money thanks to that.
Can anyone giving me any further info about? Thanks very much  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
Martingale, tho a good strategy for some, it comes with a high risk so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't recommend it. I personally simetimes play with this strategy on dice games and blackjack but I do not think it's profitable if you're not that lucky. Yes, I said lucky becuase imo you need luck to win any gamble even when you are using any strategies.

212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some of the best movies based on gambling? on: August 07, 2018, 07:39:24 AM
There is a list on IMDB here of the top 100 gambling themed movies with The Hangover (2009) as the most popular.
I don't enjoy watching people gamble as much as when I am the one gambling so I'm not into movie and I'm not aware if there are newly released movies this year or last year.
Surely you can find recommendations of good movies in google tho.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best Bounty Hunting Platform? on: August 07, 2018, 04:52:30 AM
These are the most popular bounty hunting platforms so far. If there is better than them, then please share your ideas below. Wink
There is bountyhunters and they are currently hosting an ICO for their own token. The platform actually is good since stakes and potential token rewards are automatically counted.
So far, nothing beats bountyhive when it comes to numbers of participants but I think if ever amazix implement a platform where they can automate data then I think they will get more participants.
Legitizedrops also looks promising. I'm waiing to see your community grows.  Wink

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped causing new coins not to be listed in the market on: August 06, 2018, 09:29:47 PM
Reasons are not collecting enough money in ICO, or not as many as they hoped. One of the reason, at responsable teams is that people bought their token when btc was 10k or more, and if they release it now, its 30% loss for the investors in start!
Lol. This is a big NO. There are several successful ICOs out there and even with enough money they can not list their coin to a better exchange or worse, it is not listed on anywhere at all.

The main reason why a coin might not be listed on an exchange is not because of the btc price. It's the coins fault. Usually if it's a pump and dump type of coins then it will never be listed in any good exchange.
It will most likely just be listed on a dex like etherdelta, idex, etc... and you can not expect volume of trades in there. Eventually the team gives up and the investors/hodlers are left with bags of shitcoins.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending eth/token without fee? on: August 06, 2018, 08:59:33 PM
what is the difference with erc20 to erc865?

all i know sending transaction without any fee is for the airdrop you just need to send nothing with no gas on their address.
hmm seems like i need to research more for this.
After I read on github, with ERC-825 we can send tokens but use the token as a fee. I'm also interested in this
I've searched for this ERC-825 and it turns out that this is a real thing and it's a project of bitclave.
You guys can read more about it here: https://medium.com/bitclave/do-not-pay-transaction-fees-in-ethereum-21a9dccaaf63

Their github discussions: https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/827

According to there, it is still unsafe and not suitable for use.
217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee Trading? on: August 06, 2018, 07:08:58 PM
Those zero fee exchanges have mostly a very low volume. I'd choose exchanges with fees and feel more safe with my coins on them.
There are actually trusted exchanges that have 0 fees on a certain pair like bitmex with its BTC/USD market but you are correct since there is no volume in there. I've also checked the exchanges on coinmarketcap that have ) fees and no volume on any exchanges whatsoever.

@OP your best option is to just find the exchange that offers the smallest fee since the exchanges providing 0 fees will be of no use because of it's 0 volume.
One best option for you is Binance. You can take advantage of its low trading fee when you use their binance token.
Another is COSS which also offers their own coin and you can even earn from dividents.

also
CoinExchange have .15% fee
Cex.io offer .20% - .25% fee on trades
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to sell AVINOC tokens? on: August 06, 2018, 12:33:59 PM
Hi friends, can anyone help provide information, where can we sell AVINOC tokens?
I thank you for your attention. Wink Wink Wink

I saw in a youtube video that it's just recently listed in latoken.
here's the market link:  https://wallet.latoken.com/market/Crypto/ETH/AVINOC-ETH

but according to their telegram group, it will be listed first on https://coinbe.net/
The team discourage selling below $1 so maybe wait for a better exchange.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 06, 2018, 11:34:11 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

JFYI there is more country that is now using crypto currencies. Not "few". Some countries are not yet fully adapting on how cryptocurrency works but people in these countries are certainly using crrpto for online payments.
Who said anything about current currencies being replaced by cryptocurrency/digital money? It can co-exist with fiat. That is how it will gradually evolve as the future money that everyone in the world will be using. It takes time and there is no need to rush everything. Internet was not created in a day and not everyone in the world had access on it and now look at it. It's everywhere. Soon will happen with crypto.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 05, 2018, 03:54:08 PM
someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?
Whether they become addicted or not is not going to be your fault. You have no control on whatever that someone will do will with his life after you teach him how to gamble.
It's very uncommon for people to just be addicted in gambling. It's upto them how they will view as what is gambking for them.

As a good friend, I suggest you go teach him/her and just remind them that gambling is not something worth risking everything.
