222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped causing new coins not to be listed in the market on: August 06, 2018, 09:29:47 PM
Reasons are not collecting enough money in ICO, or not as many as they hoped. One of the reason, at responsable teams is that people bought their token when btc was 10k or more, and if they release it now, its 30% loss for the investors in start!
Lol. This is a big NO. There are several successful ICOs out there and even with enough money they can not list their coin to a better exchange or worse, it is not listed on anywhere at all.

The main reason why a coin might not be listed on an exchange is not because of the btc price. It's the coins fault. Usually if it's a pump and dump type of coins then it will never be listed in any good exchange.
It will most likely just be listed on a dex like etherdelta, idex, etc... and you can not expect volume of trades in there. Eventually the team gives up and the investors/hodlers are left with bags of shitcoins.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending eth/token without fee? on: August 06, 2018, 08:59:33 PM
what is the difference with erc20 to erc865?

all i know sending transaction without any fee is for the airdrop you just need to send nothing with no gas on their address.
hmm seems like i need to research more for this.
After I read on github, with ERC-825 we can send tokens but use the token as a fee. I'm also interested in this
I've searched for this ERC-825 and it turns out that this is a real thing and it's a project of bitclave.
You guys can read more about it here: https://medium.com/bitclave/do-not-pay-transaction-fees-in-ethereum-21a9dccaaf63

Their github discussions: https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/827

According to there, it is still unsafe and not suitable for use.
224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee Trading? on: August 06, 2018, 07:08:58 PM
Those zero fee exchanges have mostly a very low volume. I'd choose exchanges with fees and feel more safe with my coins on them.
There are actually trusted exchanges that have 0 fees on a certain pair like bitmex with its BTC/USD market but you are correct since there is no volume in there. I've also checked the exchanges on coinmarketcap that have ) fees and no volume on any exchanges whatsoever.

@OP your best option is to just find the exchange that offers the smallest fee since the exchanges providing 0 fees will be of no use because of it's 0 volume.
One best option for you is Binance. You can take advantage of its low trading fee when you use their binance token.
Another is COSS which also offers their own coin and you can even earn from dividents.

also
CoinExchange have .15% fee
Cex.io offer .20% - .25% fee on trades
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to sell AVINOC tokens? on: August 06, 2018, 12:33:59 PM
Hi friends, can anyone help provide information, where can we sell AVINOC tokens?
I thank you for your attention. Wink Wink Wink

I saw in a youtube video that it's just recently listed in latoken.
here's the market link:  https://wallet.latoken.com/market/Crypto/ETH/AVINOC-ETH

but according to their telegram group, it will be listed first on https://coinbe.net/
The team discourage selling below $1 so maybe wait for a better exchange.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 06, 2018, 11:34:11 AM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

JFYI there is more country that is now using crypto currencies. Not "few". Some countries are not yet fully adapting on how cryptocurrency works but people in these countries are certainly using crrpto for online payments.
Who said anything about current currencies being replaced by cryptocurrency/digital money? It can co-exist with fiat. That is how it will gradually evolve as the future money that everyone in the world will be using. It takes time and there is no need to rush everything. Internet was not created in a day and not everyone in the world had access on it and now look at it. It's everywhere. Soon will happen with crypto.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 05, 2018, 03:54:08 PM
someone come and asked me to teach or explained thing about gambling, should I teach them or I just ignore them? How can I teach or convince them that gambling is only for fun? Is it a wrong idea to teach or convince them to gamble for fun?
Whether they become addicted or not is not going to be your fault. You have no control on whatever that someone will do will with his life after you teach him how to gamble.
It's very uncommon for people to just be addicted in gambling. It's upto them how they will view as what is gambking for them.

As a good friend, I suggest you go teach him/her and just remind them that gambling is not something worth risking everything.
228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nobody is using crypto's to pay anymore on: August 05, 2018, 04:54:56 AM
what makes you think that's what most people do? on the contrary, i think most people sell the bottom and/or buy the top. they get greedy when price is rising and don't want to sell. that's why the old warren buffet saying always applies. Smiley

that is the logical move for anyone who is not a hardcore trader who cares only about making money. of course there is the buy high sell low situation but that doesn't mean people aren't going to spend 0.001-0.01BTC of what they have.
This is true atleast for the people I know in my country that is using bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. We get bitcoin trade them when it's high and buy more when it's low. Convert them to fiat and go on and spend it everywhere. The problem is even if we want to use cryptocurrency to pay for stuffs, there is not much merchant that is currently accepting them.

I myself would be willing to just use bitcoin to pay almost anywhere.
229  Economy / Services / Re: Help needed to get a token (coin) listed on Coinmarketcap on: August 04, 2018, 09:36:09 PM
As I've read somewhere you need to atleast have a total of 50,000 usd volume to get it listed.
I've also read just now that the volume requirement is temporarily suspended.

Quote from: quora
With allegations against transparency and ICO’s deliberately inflating their volume to get listed in CMC, it has relaxed the volume requirement. It still has the other requirements in place but now the volume requirement suspended, at least for now.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Needs Some suggestion to find the best exchange....!!!! on: August 04, 2018, 08:08:44 PM
Binance is on my top list. I'm not updated if you can register new accounts these days tho. They have a mobile app and that what sold me.
KuCoin and bitmex also is great but I haven't had the chance to use them maybe some time.
You can find a lot of new coins being listed on Huobi so if you are looking for an exchange with new coins being listed almost daily, use this.
Cryptopia have a nice selection of coins as well.

If you're looking for quick trades use changelly, Coinmama, Shapeshift.
231  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best crypto payment gateway? on: August 04, 2018, 07:07:34 PM
is there any other Good & trusted service ?
There is coinsbank and coinsgate which you can use to accept 50+ currencies.
and spectrocoin which you can use to accept Bitcoin, NEM or Dash. They've been running their service for years now but they have an issue here in bitcointalk. See their thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577176.700

Also blockchain.com (former blockchain.info)
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOVI - YobitVirtualCoin - 5% POS [ROM] on: August 04, 2018, 04:20:35 PM
Everyone knows yobit doesn't care about any of their customer by now. People use the exchange on their own risk.
I still don't get why people will keep using an exchange like yobit who already have several issues flagged by their current users. I mean there are tons of great exchanges out there who actually do their works as a service provider unlike yobit. New exchanges that even offers better experience.
Not to mention the difference when it comes to withdrawal fees and the site itself. What does yobit have that people keep using them?
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to merit other? on: August 04, 2018, 11:58:26 AM
non of the posts above answers the OPs question.

I dont know how to merit others.
I can not merit others when I am Newbie, right?
It doesn't matter if you are still a newbie. What matters is if you already have a merit. You can't send merit currently because you have 0 smerits to give.
1 merit = .5 smerit for you to send. Meaning you need to atleast have 2 merits in your account to have 1 smerit to give away.

Not sure what the number of application form means in your google sheet.
Anyway, I'm trying to reserve Translation of the ANN and whitepaper to Filipino.

edit: please fix the OP.

The invalid BBCODE is caused by that broken table for the Hero/Legendary signature.
237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do i need a license if i want to create a crypto gambling site? on: August 03, 2018, 06:22:58 AM
If i wanted to create a crypto gambling site would i need to get a license in the countries where my customers would come from?

as in if i targeted people in the UK would i need a UK license?

or is the crypto space exempt from the licensing as it's not "fiat"
You are correct. Since the payment in your casino will involve cryptocurrency which isn't regulated by banks you don't need a license for that.
I may have read somewhere tho that you need to have a license if you are operating with the biggest casino softwares.
Also imo it is important to consider getting an online casino license to ensure safety for both the operator and the customers.

Afaik the only casino I know that is licensed is Bitcasino.io. It's the one I have in my signature. You may want to check it out. Smiley
238  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollercoin - the online bitcoin mining simulator on: August 03, 2018, 12:18:32 AM
I signed up. Whenever i use this website, CPU usage is high. I closed all the other tabs to check and it's still the same. Does it uses CPU power to mine coins?

If that's the case would this harm a laptop?

In a way this is just like a faucet with different kind of claiming option. I know a similar mining game like this before but I forgot its name. I never managed to cashout anything tho. My balance were too low and I gave up trying to get more satoshi.

240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: August 02, 2018, 08:21:42 PM
Wow, that's quite a story! I've made some new conclusions in relation to gambling. First: you shouldn't be superstitious when your money is on, that what really can make you lose money. Once I was crazy about number 3 so I did everything for three times in dice (don't mean just betting, a whole set of bets with particular numbers) hoping that for the third time I'll win. It didn't last for long, however made me lose some money.
Dice is probably fair so mixing it with your own superstition belief with leave you with nothing on your play wallet.  Cheesy

There are some cases tho that your intuition is right and the next roll you get is correct.
I still believe that winning a gamble is a mixture of good luck and math.

Second: you should never ever go beyond planned expenditure amounts for a day. Selling phone - sounds crazy, but not as crazy as a fact that gamblers can go as far as selling their apartments and borrowing money. And the last but not least: if you are hazardous and going out for a play you need to hire an authorised delegate to control your expenses.

That is an example of a bad case of gambling addiction. NO one in the right would even think of selling their apartment just to have the money to gamble with. Those are the cases were the gambler needs psychological intervention. Borrowing money on the other hand is much more common than you think. I've seen people borrowing money directly in a gambling site chatbox, asking/begging for someone to lend them some money.
