any chance to get this on a world map?
This will be a lot more easier to understand if it will be on the world map. The pixels looks like a bunch of shining stars to me. LOL. Great idea tho, I once encountered to pay a fee when I used a vpn before. So this is why..

Yo , I was wondering how and what are we supposed to do to get a thread of ours sticked , I know it should be helpful or something like that however there is few threads on Beginners & Help section but don't see them sticked and if they are , it would definitely reduce the spam . So is the OP of a topic should make a poll and people vote if it should be sticked or not ? or how does it work
Afaik, mods decide whether a topic should be stickied or not. You can request that in the thread provided that it is beneficial to the board you posted it. In the beginners and help sec., faq are about wallets and ways to earn. Wallets topic could be stickied, though the latter is not necessary. Yep. If a majority of people in here thinks that the thread will be really helpful or useful for wveryone then mods can decide to put it in stickies.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour?
|
on: October 21, 2015, 05:11:14 PM

I dont think there is such a way to earn 1$ per hour but yeah u can earn that in a day with. The help of faucets...
Your target can still be acquired in an hour if you have a large unvestment on a bitcoin project
you can do it with signature easily, it is only 0.0036, very easy to do, with 3 post if you are hero, you can do it in 3 minute not 1 hourI'm never can do earn 1 btc per hour within my live if hou have a method earn 1 btc per hours you can share with us i doubt anyone thta is making that much will share with us, his secret, but i also doubt that among us there is who is earning that much.. I'm not a Hero yet, actually I'm far from it, but thanks for your reply! It is short, constructive and very helpful. Now I, and many of those who are reading this topic searching for some answers, can see that there is a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour. even you're still fullmember ,there's a way to earn 1$BTC per hour ,just make double account and join the signature campaign, but dont reccomend it, it'll make you get banned (if your post quality very low or spamming), and the admin didnt only banned 1 of your account, but both ,gladly im just have this account because im not consider earning bitcoin as my main job Dude he can still make $1 per hour without having multiple accounts, with just 6-7 posts he will get $1 (based on the magicaldice full member per post rate) and it will only take less than an hour depending on the availability of topics you can post on It's not that hard for full members and above to get atleast $1 per hour on a decent sig campaign Seems like the only option I've read here toxearn a 1$ in one hour is through sig campaign. BTW OI also suggest that if you have some skill or something, you can sell them, you can get a bigger bounty for that and if you really know what you are doing then you can finish it within an hour or depending on the required time but I think that will earn you more than a dollar per hour.

Honestly, I do not support this (but it does not mean that I do anything about it; read next part). This is due to the fact that it will attract a lot of signature spam that it did not had previously. However, it tends to be okay. If you have a question to ask or have something constructive to add to that subject, it is better than opening another thread about the same thing. Just make it so that it doesn't look like a useless(spam) necro post. Then your post shall not be deleted.
I umderstand what you mean, well I am referring to those useless posts that doesn't even make sense at all, they'd just bump a very old thread just like the guy di which is an obvious spam. And oh btw, I noticed the posts in that thread got deleted already.

its make bitcoin more popular, any violence happen because bitcoin That's kinda sad cuz it affects the image of bitcoin but well, that's the truth and we can't totally stop it. I wouldn't be surprised if one day you can pay bitcoin with abortion or even you can bribe policemen with bitcoins Well Any form of money be it in fiat or an online payment including a cryptocurrency, they can all be use in every way IMO. Bitcoin adapting to these kind of stuffs only proves that a huge variety of people are now using bitcoin.

Hey OP you can move this to scam accusation. Anyway, I never heard any problem regarding the bitcoinalien site rather than the owner not being honest. Have you tried contacting them here in the forum? If I am not mistaken, they have an account in here, I saw them before so I think you can ask them.

Signature campaigns ruined bitcointalk. Well I don't think so, not on every part tho. What I think is the signature campaigns also helped the forum. Well if it wasn't for the signature spammers, the forum will not be this noisy. Just my opinion. Anyway OP there is a thread that lists all running signature canpaigns. You can check it for yourself to see which one is older. Why must you ask a question rather looking for it yourself.

What is the best platform for P2P bitcon lending?
what do you think?
This has been asked in here if I am not mistaken. I am not quite sure what is best but I know a few, btcjam, loanbase, bitpop and I forgot the other. Anyway, I still prefer the lending services offered im this forum by our fellow users. It's much secure and also can be funded faster. It's not for a long term loan tho.

I think this belong to the scam accusation. Also that doesn't prove that cryptsy is a scammer. I once lost 2FA and the blame is always on the account holder and not the service provider. You can ask them once again and provide the neccessary authentication to prove that you really are telling them the truth. Also are you certain that you really are talking to their aupport team?

I was once searching on the web for money making opportunity, I already know about bitcoin so I creep around here and tried finding a way to earn bitcoins. It's nice that I went here and for that I had learned a lot more rather than just looking for a way to earn money, I earned knowledge here.

Hi!
I set up bitcoin long time ago, and have 0 BTC. I just re-installed the Bitcoin-core and it is syncing; how do I add my account from the past? I have the public and private key written down.
Also, I would like to buy 0.1 BTC, will pay USD with $300 exchange rate, just for kicks. I'll pay cash in person to whomever is willing to meet me in NY - downtown or brooklyn - so I know how to do this...
Thanks!
Hey bro you can post in the currency exchange section and tell that you are looking for an exchange from USD to BTC and that you want to trade in person. There is a chance someone will notice your post there rather than here in the begginer section.

Well we've seen clearly how Bitcoin can be used for Drugs (Silk Road); Fraud (Ponzi); Porn(?); Sex (Backpage), it looks like a new use is becoming quite popular: Ransom. Bitcoin is becoming a great mode for Ransom demands: http://www.coindesk.com/e-tailer-offers-23000-to-catch-ddos-attackers-demanding-bitcoin/. Meanwhile, back in the conventional markets - BitPay lays off 600 due to low volume at merchants. The Bitcoin 'use cases' story is starting to stack up. It might become successful after all. LOL. People does have a wide imaginations, I mean using bitcoin to purchase stuff such as drugs and porn and now ransom? As bitcoin starts to be widely known the majority of crimes are also inclining to bitcoin. They find it useful, the advantages of using bitcoin. I don't think if I will take this as a good sign or not.

This a very good idea for a project tho, will the apps that is already in google play will be available in this project? I like this concept as I really don't like using my credit card or my paypal in purchasing paid applications on playstore so I think this will benefit those who also prefer anonymous billing. btw I made this.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Bitcoin Progress Status for 2015
|
on: October 21, 2015, 02:07:38 PM
|
Well I think 2015 is a very good year for the bitcoin community in our country. Bitcoin is slowly being noticed by some people all over the country, I even notice some that has interest from my province, though their interest is not that deep, probably because of the lack of knowledge, it's still nice to know that a lot of people have an idea about bitcoin.
-How big will the Bitcoin community be in the Philippines? I was hoping that it could spread out to each and every person who uses the net but then, I think only those who go deeper than the social media will be inclined to bitcoin.
Will it still be composed of early adopters or will a larger base of Filipinos be using it? I think it will be a majority of those early adopters and a few more newbies. I see a lot of people in facebook that take bitcoin as a way to earn online so I think those people will grab the opportunity to earn free money online.
How many merchants will accept the cryptocurrency? In which types of industries? I really don't have any idea yet I only know the merchants listed on the coins.ph that acxepts bitcoin. I hope a lot more establishment will consider adapting bitcoin.
Do you see any celebrities endorsing Bitcoin? Will it gain critical mass in the Philippines once this happens? Not really, I don't see a single vit of hint that celebrities does know about bitcoin on the media. Having them endorse bitcoin might help to increase the awareness of people about this, as people these days are really easily get influenced by artist so yea.
