So I had noticed this one. So is the post will be considered as ok or a spam. The thread was created on 2012.
3602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any female BitcoinTalker around you? on: October 21, 2015, 02:17:21 PM
i have some female friend using bitcoin, almost of them are gamers. but now i dont see one of them using anymore

Gamers you say? There is tremor games where you can get paid by the games you play in it. Also if I am not mistaken there are some rpg games where you can exchange ingame currency for bitcoin. They might consider going back to using bits. Cheesy
3603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Bitcoin Progress Status for 2015 on: October 21, 2015, 02:07:38 PM
Well I think 2015 is a very good year for the bitcoin community in our country. Bitcoin is slowly being noticed by some people all over the country, I even notice some that has interest from my province, though their interest is not that deep, probably because of the lack of knowledge, it's still nice to know that a lot of people have an idea about bitcoin.

-How big will the Bitcoin community be in the Philippines?
I was hoping that it could spread out to each and every person who uses the net but then, I think only those who go deeper than the social media will be inclined to bitcoin.

Will it still be composed of early adopters or will a larger base of Filipinos be using it?
I think it will be a majority of those early adopters and a few more newbies. I see a lot of people in facebook that take bitcoin as a way to earn online so I think those people will grab the opportunity to earn free money online.

How many merchants will accept the cryptocurrency? In which types of industries?
I really don't have any idea yet I only know the merchants listed on the coins.ph that acxepts bitcoin.
I hope a lot more establishment will consider adapting bitcoin.

Do you see any celebrities endorsing Bitcoin? Will it gain critical mass in the Philippines once this happens?
Not really, I don't see a single vit of hint that celebrities does know about bitcoin on the media. Having them endorse bitcoin might help to increase the awareness of people about this, as people these days are really easily get influenced by artist so yea.
3604  Other / Meta / Re: Post here the trust bots on: October 21, 2015, 01:47:19 PM
Does this include a person who gives negative ratings to every sold/bought or for sale accounts?

Also what may be the sole purpose of this thread?
EDIT: other than the reason you stated above, I don't think they make sense at all. Undecided

3607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: October 21, 2015, 11:02:19 AM
Who really uses bitcoin?
All peiole who has bitcoin to hold and spend. They will more likely use it so those are people who does.

Who is the typical bitcoin user?
Someone who uses bitcoin in a daily basis. They earn and spend them. Those are.

Who doesn't use it? and why does it matter?
Obviously those people who don't have any idea what bitcoin is, they don't use it and more likely will never use it not until they have a glimpse of what bitcoins is. It matters because bitcoin needs to be popularize more to everyone. Every person who will be in the bitcoin community is a big major leap on the ongoing grow of our very own bitcoin

3609  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tsu, the facebook alternative to add Bitcoin ? on: October 21, 2015, 06:25:30 AM
I've been using tsu for quite some timw but then I had to stop because they only offer a check as payment and thus it will not be able to pay me in my country. Earning it that social media is quite easy and I must say it's really fun. The bitcoin concept combined with tsu, I guess will only result to a positive outcome. I hope they will really consider into implementing the concept of bitcoin to their site. It can also be a good thing for the bitcoin community to team up in a social media like this. Cheesy
3610  Economy / Speculation / Re: $13,000 bitcoins by the end of 2016? $120,000 by 2018? (golden ratio fractals) on: October 21, 2015, 06:19:00 AM
Quit interesting but  Huh

Quite*

Well I don't think it's possible but what was impossible before had already happened so, I don't know wether to believe in this speculation or not. What I amonly hoping is that and I think will happen anytime soon, bitcoin price will rise once again, might not be a rocket change but atleast there will be increament. Cheesy

3612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mintsy.co - cloud mining scam! on: October 21, 2015, 04:55:05 AM
Mintsy.co is a cloud mining scam!  It stopped all activity and doesn't pay any refunds!

Have you been scammed by Mintsy cloud mining service?

Press releases and ads said that it was a project by Cryptsy and Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) traded company DIGITAL CC LIMITED (ticket DCC@ASX).

Do not hesitate to lodge a complaint to Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
DigitalCC has a lot of money, so ASIC can force them to pay our money back.

Follow instructions here:
https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/tools-and-resources/how-to-complain

Allxcloud mining is likely to turn out to be scam. It's a ponzi for petes' sake. Next time educate yourself first before sending your coins into some kind of false investment. Well now it's a lesson learned. Wink
3613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone Know What Kind of Software They Used For This Bitcoin Video on: October 21, 2015, 04:52:17 AM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lx9zgZCMqXE

I'm looking to create a similar video and I thought the animations were done very well.

Does anyone know how to create such animations and which software they would use?

Thanks Gang.

I think this can be created with prezi. Also I have tried doing this kind of animatiin in sony vegas with the help of adobe cs6. Basically, you can do this video in any videoxmaker out there if youxhave knowledge and if you know how to do it.
3614  Economy / Lending / Re: I can provide a loan on: October 21, 2015, 04:49:11 AM
Giving to 0,01 BTC, only good feedback comprising an member.

Week rate 5%.

Loans without collateral. But only those who have a positive feedback.

loan example:

0,01 coins you get. A week later returned 0,01 loan + 0.0005 coins interest. Total Accounts refund amount: 0.0105 btc

So by 0.01 BTC you mean a reputable member here can only borrow that amount? What is your budget for this lending service?
Also is there a maximum minimum numbers of days or weeks a loan can last?
You should lut more details to this. Anyway, goodluck.
3615  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bter.com is a scam on: October 21, 2015, 12:27:00 AM
I had some withdrawal problems in Bter and the support did not apear, now I see there are a lot of scam accusations against this site so It is confirmed. I am very disapointed, I'm new in all this 'bitcoin world' and in just one month I've been scammed about 5 times in different ways, I don't know what to think really.

Could you tell me please which altcoin exchanges are not scam or are recommended? I've read about cryptsy issues, so what do yo think?

Being scammed is now normal here in the cryptoworld unfortunately, sorry for your loss. I am not that familiar with exchanges but you can try browsing to the altcoin service discussion and also the service discussion in the market place, there are a bunch of exchanges available in there.
3616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is needed to beat the champion: bitcoin on: October 21, 2015, 12:15:19 AM
Bitcoin can't ever be beaten. From those words it should be clear that the reason why it shall never be is that because of people contiously supporting the growth of bitcoin. People believes in the potential of bitcoin. We can never erase the thought that there will always be anoher cryptocurrency tho, but then, it shouldn't be taken as a competition to bitcoin. Bitcoin is bitcoin and that is that.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you typically gamble in? on: October 21, 2015, 12:10:00 AM
I pretty much don't use other coins so I only use bitcoin in everything and that includes in gambling. There are instances that when I find a good gambling aite and I have some doges to spare, I do use them to gamble. Overall I mostly just use bitcoin.
3618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: October 21, 2015, 12:04:06 AM
I don't hold too much. But hold some. I'm pretty sure of a price increase just before the halving. So I've got them at their lowest prices Smiley
before the halving there will be a price increase and I hope to sell some and double my investment.

yeah, most people are waiting for the halving to sell their coins. at what price did you buy your coins since you wait to double your investment?

I wish I was one of the guys who bought them at $1 or so but nah... my holdings are in the $190 price range. I guess this can be easily be doubled in a short period. Hope that happens soon, so that I can get my ROI.
And you?

You'll consider yourself lucky once bitcoin has a big leap in it's price. Cheesy You purchased bitcoin in a much lower price than it's price today and soon enough the price will be doubled. Those who purchased at 1$ before is much luckier tho. I wonder if someone has bought 100 BTC for 100$ before and still holds it today. That's some rich guy out there. Grin

3620  Other / Off-topic / Re: People should work to help bitcoin grow. on: October 20, 2015, 04:22:46 PM
Don't you think this belongs to bitcoin discussion? Anyway, I totally I agree with this. Waiting with their words in their mouths are not enough to helpxthe community grow more. There is a nedd for such action for bitxoin to finally take its leap. Smiley
