41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: October 14, 2018, 07:23:19 PM
I don't find any success in gambling, besides it brings us being addicted to gambling and probably all your assets are gone. But I believe that there some people who gambled that base on their luck, and they still believed that they can win in every gambling they do. Much better while it is earlier minimize your self of being active on gambling, I must prefer to go in trading that is a lower risk rather than gambling.

I just have to correct you and tell you that not everyone who ganbles ends up addicted ro it. Everything can be addicting when not taken in moderation and the same thing goes with gambking. You can't generalize that. If you are not so into gambking then why are you even here in the gambking section.  Cheesy
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: October 13, 2018, 07:02:33 PM

Excessiveness in anything can even be terrible and there should always be a time for everything. Gambling is not even something someone should be so much focused on, if they actually do not want to end up becoming addicted to it. There is always the need to stay realistic and be in control most of the time and that cannot be done when you are spending most of your time and your days in gambling and then expecting something good to come out of it when you are possibly going to be losing so much at the end anyway.

People need to realize that they are wasting away their precious years if they are putting so much attention to gambling because it never ends well, and for someone who is still very young and have years ahead of him or her, the chances to still make things right is always there, but for someone who has actually wasted a whole lot already, is bad. There are things you can do in your youthful age that when you get hold, the ability to do it will no longer be there.

Fixation is already a sign of addiction so we can already say that someon who is spending too much time is already at some point addicted to it. We can't blame the young ones tho. This generation likes to do anything in the internet. That's one of the downside of online gambling. It became too much accessible that even the ones who shouldn't gamble yet are already involved in it.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Using Signed Message as Proof of Authentication / Participation on: October 13, 2018, 06:50:48 PM
Even with your suggestion to require users to give a signed message, this doesn't solve/prevent multiple account users (even bots) to join the same campaign. That, still allow users to spam. Creating a new BTC wallet and signing it is easier than you think.

Btw, iirc you can also sign your ethereum wallet and prove ownership of it.
44  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the most legit btc casino/sportsbook/poker site? on: October 12, 2018, 07:53:33 PM
Hhampuz also have an active topic of lists of casinos and dice sites: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4832500.msg43607230#msg43607230
For sportbetting, there is nitrogensports, cloudbet, sportsbet etc. Make sure to check their reviews first. I saw some accusation against some sportsbook here yet they are still actively being used by most players. Be cautious.
45  Economy / Services / Re: FREE SIGNATURE FOR YOUR PROJECT! on: October 12, 2018, 12:36:44 PM
Hello! Good to see another signature designer around. Let me know if you'll need help in anything. I'll be happy to help.  Cheesy

However, you should stick to a price after you get into market as people tend to lower their prices . This may end up with your work being undervalued . I would be glad to review your service .

Sadly, most signature designer now lower their prices without thinking of the effect of it in the market. It takes hours to design a good signature and because of some designers lowering their price too cheap, it's getting harder to get clients. I know there's a competetion in the market but they should atleast consider if the price their offering is worth the time they spend in designing.  Embarrassed
46  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cryptoket.io - Easy Exchange with Best Rates - BONUS Dividend Token on: October 12, 2018, 11:21:20 AM

47  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cryptoket.io - Easy Exchange with Best Rates - BONUS Dividend Token on: October 11, 2018, 09:54:52 AM
Why create a new ANN? You already posted one back in August here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4798185.msg43287502#msg43287502

I still think of your servixe as shady. I saw you giving away free money for whoever tries your exchabge but I only see one newbie got paid for it.

52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you search online for prices in bitcoin? on: October 09, 2018, 05:48:26 PM
I don't use search engines that much, I use an app to track bitcoin prices on different exchanges. This doesn't show the actual price of bitcoin on local exchanges in my country tho. Besides the local exchange I use, there isn't any other way to check the current price vs our fiat.
Anyway, I use https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/bitcoin
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction becomes more popular with young people over time on: October 09, 2018, 05:12:38 PM
I strongly believe that a lot of these new mobile games are heavily influencing kids to gamble.  Their minds get very stimulated when they win virtual items like points, achievements, or gems.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as long we we teach them to gamble responsibly and treat it as a side hobby.

This is actually true. There are several articles that I have read that links video games/mobile gaming to gambling. They said that it unlocks the world of gambling for young minds.
I can testify that the same feeling when spending money on games is the same as when I am spending my money on gambling. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to win in gambling as the same way as when I am ranking up on my games. It's toxic and addicting when left unmonitored.
54  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Little Example How Matingale Doesn't Work Even In Sportsbetting and Trading on: October 09, 2018, 04:41:30 PM
When I'm still unaware of this, I'd believe that martingale works but the fact is it doesn't really work. To those folks out there that still believe with this strategy, wake up and don't spread a strategy that really don't work for most unless you want to see misfortune of others.
The thing is there really isn't any "strategy" If there is then there will be people who will win almost everytime when they gamble. People just want to believe in something so that they can enjoy more and have a positive view on what they are doing. It's in human nature. They tell theirselves what to believe so that they can ignore the fact that gambling is a way to loose money.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: October 09, 2018, 11:57:53 AM
Because that determines the victory not from how your discipline in obeying the rules that exist in gambling site dude. discipline will
only make you avoid big losses because of long-term games without stopping or can be called addiction. if you pursue profit and wealth you will not be able to win, just play with fun dude
Let's not be naive. Gambling is made so that you can get something from it. You are wagering to get profit and we can't just say play for fun. If you want to have fun, why gamble with real money then? There's tons of games out there that offers the same games without you risking your money.
Keep in mind that there is always the fact that all gambler, be it someone new or a veteran, they always have in mind that when they gamble, they want to get money or win.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sort posts by merit spent on: October 09, 2018, 05:27:54 AM
Is there a way that I can sort the posts in each of the mentioned sections, based on the total amount of merits "spent" in the entire topic including the replies? That way I doubt I miss the important (read-worthy) stuff.

Check this out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4422529.msg39438353#msg39438353
It's a collection of the most popular threads here in the forum.

I don't know if there is such thing that you're looking for. You can ignore posts/boards to dexrease the number of posts/threads that you see. That way, you can only see those posts made from people here who actually makes good topics.
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is tomatocage reliable? on: October 09, 2018, 04:43:23 AM
you don't need to post on all the forum stupid questions.
People like:
OgNaStY
minerjones
philipma
monbux
JohnK
sebastianju
tomatocage
zazarb
All of them are reliable and proven in the years for most legit escrows around

That's why we have "trust" system on this forum to check it out.

In addition to your list:
DarkStar
bl4nkcode
SFR10

also provides escrow.

I wouldn't rely that much on the "trust" that people have in the forum. I've seen the most legit and users rhat have hundred of positive feedback on their accounts, turned scam in the end. All I'l saying is, if you are dealing with another user, don't trust them 100%.
58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A banking app helped me beat my addiction on: October 09, 2018, 03:19:51 AM
Addiction of any kind are bad for the human body, plus its a frustration really. If there are remedies that work to combat such addictions, particularly gambling those should be made available. It could save many people.
Yes, there are really some remedies but when your addiction comes to a point on where you do seek ways inspite on having such blockage then it would be an another story.Addiction is a kind of disease that cant really be easily cured unless you wont realize that you are already destroying your life gradually. I doubt that this app isnt applicable on crypto for sure yet we know that anytime we can make access on our own funds since we do have the full control of it.

Why rely on an app tho? Why can't we as human beings help another and seek helo to one another? Like you said, we have full control on our funds in crypto so why not just ask someone like your relative to monitor your expenses when it comes to gambling. In that way, a real living person can give you the consequences of not doing what they are supposed to. Seeek council to a professional and ask for hwlp about your addiction.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: October 08, 2018, 05:41:10 PM
For me it is a big yes because we all know that being positive always give you the positive vibes too. Being a positive person always put you in a good situation. You must know how to act positively so that the outcomes of your actions are also positive too. And positive mind will give you the edge to have enjoyment and happiness while playing. But ofcourse be sure to know when to stop. Smiley

I undertand what you meant. As someone lime me who strongly believes that the energy around us affects everything, it does make sense that we are attracting what we call "good karma" when we are thinking positively. This is usually what people call luck. They believe that they are lucky.

I am not sure tho if this can be applied in online gambling. Behind a provably fair game is math.

Anyway, there is no harm on believing in anything as long as you feel good about it yourself.
