TPTB/Anonymint has covered buttcoins flaws in great detail, I recommend you to read his posts or wait for the whitepaper, these will answer your questions regarding it's failures re: anonymity, centralization, scaling & vulnerabilities etc, better than I could.

It is all over for Bitcoin.
Can't wait for this, haha As long as it doesn't involve using Bitcoins for fundraising. That would be hypocritical. bitcoin has it's purpose to serve as a gateway to superior coins, but it's not a solution to the problems we face as the fanboys have been boastfully shouting about for the last six years.

haha I am working on getting out of here, within the next 9 months I hope to be picking my own olives.
If you can have your own business, that's far better than working for a larger company. You get to choose your own hours, and when everything gets done, the only issue is that you have to do a lot of the work yourself, but that can be easily offset with the right motivation. I intend to start my own business to survive over there, I have many years of experience repairing industrial equipment, so if Pedro needs a gate welded or a pump rebuilt quickly I can help, if not I'll come back to Oz, kick back and become a Josef Mengele experiment in a Fema camp

That's exactly what I have been looking for, thanks for that link.
I can offer you a room to stay in, and it even has a racing car bed! It's probably more peaceful than the roosters, tricycles & jeeps you're used to hearing over there..
But I am located about an hour away from Melbourne.

TPTB let me know if your treatment is in Melbourne, I can help you out with a car, look for some accomodation, sight seeing, etc.
Also it is getting much harder to maintain the same lifestyle I had here in 2007, I earn twice as much now and my wife also works some part time hours.
The middle class will cease to exist in a few years if not sooner, so I don't think it's an over reaction to flee from this squeeze, I believe Armstrong when he says we are facing a situation similar to the 1700's, and/or the collapse of Rome when I have doubts of my own sanity.
I have always preferred to live a rugged lifestyle, I never wanted to leave Banaue when I visited, but my wife prefers everything suburbia has to offer, she gets bored easily.
