201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: January 06, 2018, 06:28:39 PM
Hey guys I'm not sure if this is the right place so please tell me if it is not. With that out of the way, I have a question for you all. I have recently been able to gather about .5 btc through minor trading and I was wondering if there was any method or way to grow this btc into a larger amount safely and fairly quickly. Thanks!
There are several ways to grow your bitcoin which are:

1. Investing in Lending Platform
2. Trading altcoins
3. Investing ICO
4. Mining

I like everything that you shared to grow bitcoin. Everyone, see how flexible bitcoin is for it to grow better. There are lots of ways just like what have been stated: investing in lending platform, trading altcoins, investing ICO and mining. One can choose one or two among the 4 or can do all if you are working for bitcoin full time.
"1. Investing in Lending Platform" What is this? Do you mean invest in ICOs lending project? I know Hshare and Bitconnect are the projects about lending and gave many profits for investor. But I never put my money in these projects, because the concept "lending" of these projects is not truth and real like Poloniex.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: January 06, 2018, 06:19:41 PM
Trading is the buying at a low price to sell at a higher price goods or commodities, currencies that is either fiat or crypto coins with the sole aim of making profit while investing is when you build your funds overtime like investing into stocks, shares, bonds and or other investment instrument, Both aims at getting profit.

There is a big difference between the two; when it comes to Investment, you've really not got a job to do, cause all you have got to do is invest your money and wait for it to grow to the extent you need and you can then make a withdrawal, but as for trading, you take part in every activities to earn… And any single prediction leads to loss.
I do not think so, the difference between trading and investing is the total orders and times to trade on market. With trading, you need to spend more times than investing, because trading is earn profit from small change and repeat many times to optimize profit while investing just follow the plan and usually have fixed time to trade.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: January 06, 2018, 06:06:45 PM
Bitcoin value is so volatile because it matter's in demand and supply, if many people took time to invest the value also rose up, if lesser people invest then the value drops down, This is the only thing i've learned in trading.
I agree, when investors are starting to come in and those new ones that are putting new volume of investment to bitcoin which will add another market cap it will lead bitcoin's price to increase. And that will be good for those holders that are just doing nothing with their bitcoins but let it hold for a long time. And the volatility is giving us a good opportunity that even we do nothing, we will earn that much.
This is the time for holder earn profit, but to be honest, you should change your investment type when the market be quiet again. I think we will have a rested time soon after some final altcoins pumped in this trend. Doge, Sia, Digibyte, Factom and Maid, I think these coins can continue to increase x2 value and Bitcoin will comeback to $20,000.
204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: January 06, 2018, 05:56:47 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

BCC? Its just an another altcoin and speaking on the price of it, it wont be the same value as bitcoin as far as I know and hear of its price is on the range of $400+ (correct me if I'm wrong-I just hear this thing and I don't know where they did get such information.) For sure BCC price would really dump on this case since people would see this as a free money from their bitcoin holdings.

BitcoinCash is have a big potential to be the next coin of all time. But as of now, i choose bitcoin bwcuase bitcoin is the most valuable coins. So if bitcoincash beat bitcoin, i choose bitcoincash now. Be wise.
BitcoinCash is only temporary trend and the dream of some people want to kill Bitcoin someday. I believe the Bitcoin devs will have solution for current system and lightning network can be the solution in next time. Just wait the result, I am sure Bitcoin will be better than BitcoinCash
205  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: January 06, 2018, 05:49:24 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

I think people store their bitcoin in the wallet for long time to long term investment. Bitcoin price will keep high  in the future, so invest in bitcoin even other cryptocurrncy still profitable.
My purpose investment is always earn more Bitcoin after all in cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is always my final place before withdraw to FIAT to take profit. Of course, I know some people do not have strong faith on the growth of Bitcoin, but I believe the price of Bitcoin can still increases more in this year.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 06, 2018, 05:40:01 PM
I like paper money. I like to feel the buying power in my hands :p Bitcoin makes me feel like a robot. I am not saying paper money is better tho.

Thats true, and it was said in most of the opinions here that a cashless society will not be a very good way of innovation, which I agree with cause you can see  a massive accounts will be compile in one or more companies or entities whixh may be a bait for the hackers to bite , and as they say it may also happened that if you are not a good citizen your profit will be hold or account which is unfair.
Instead of we use cryptocurrency to change the current monetary system, use blockchain technology from cryptocurrency world and apply it to build and develop new digital curreny is better. I saw some countries have started to research it, if the world need to change current monetary system, I think next choice will be digital currency use blockchain for platform.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: January 06, 2018, 05:30:04 PM
Guys I know that there are previous posts and polls regarding the highly suggested source of bitcoin but things always change do I want to know what is the current best source of bitcoin nowadays. Please participate on this poll and kindly tell us why that's your choice. Thanks in advance and God bless us more Wink
There are a lot of good ways to earn bitcoin nowadays but I only know one so it would be the only thing I'll endorse to you. Signature campaigns are campaigns which usually takes up a month or two but the reward waiting is always worth the wait. It can still be considered risky but if you have faith on it, nothing bad will happen. You can still explore the wonders of bitcoin and find a more better way.
You are wrong, signature campaigns do not need you spend much time to receive salary, especially which campaigns use Bitcoin for payment in service boards, payment is done every week. You need to read rule before start to work and you can save your time to working.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: January 06, 2018, 05:20:10 PM
Why not both ?

I think, every part has positive and negative side
Offline wallets, best security ever and if you lose your device wallet, you still can recover your asset. but if you forget didn't bring it when you needed it, its nothing.
Online wallets, less secure than offline wallets, but you can access your wallets where ever you are. still have a chance of being hacked
Yup! Nothing safe 100%. As long as you can be sure your online wallet use 2FA + other security setting, you can use online wallet to store your Bitcoin with low risk. Deposit Bitcoin to exchange and trade on this place also means you are using online wallet Wink.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 05:08:58 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
I guess no i dont see the bitcoin can be a great way to do a transaction online for the terorrist but i guess it is a good way but i dont see bitcoin your such increase the criminality we already known bitcoin for a past year and it is already use in this kind of way and primarily use in online transaction where you cannot be track online by using this kind of transaction but i guess even it become more popular i guess it is not a reason even if they have this currency it would really not attract a lot of terrorist to do more illegal things.
I do not negate Bitcoin was used for crime. But nowadays, the criminal tracking agencies have reported that the use of Bitcoin for money laundering has decreased significantly over time. Instead, the criminal are using other altcoin as Monero, Ethereum and other anonymous cryptocurrencies for money laundering.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: January 06, 2018, 04:59:29 PM
There are multiple methods for storing cryptocurrencies securely.
01. Trusted hardware wallet (Cold storage)
02. Printed (Paper wallet)
03. Web wallet – using two-factor authentication

However there are multiple advantages and disadvantages in each type of wallet. You should select a wallet based on your convenient.
Your list miss desktop wallet, some wallets can give you private key and help you have all permission to control your wallet. It is also the first place to store Bitcoin when Satoshi release Bitcoin. As far as I know, Bitcoin Core is the best wallet in desktop wallet. Beside that also have light wallet as Electrum to help you save time to sync blockchain data.
211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 06, 2018, 04:50:10 PM
no, bitcoin is not a crypto currency, if bitcoin currency then it can be used for transaction but in fact bitcoin just as asset in real world. in 2007 bitcoin was born and aims to be used as a crypto currency but failed due to the price of bitcoin at the time was cheap and now in 2017 has increased rapidly. bitcoin can not be used as currency unless using satoshi may be possible but bitcoin has a price that can't be determined
Yes there is no doubt that bitcoin can be a future money because the way bitcoin is going fast so I think bitcoin will end world poverty as well bitcoin is now unstoppable and its almost in many countries its price is very high that’s why its demand is going high every day if world keep continue this support with bitcoin so soon bitcoin will be legal around the world and it will the future currency so best of luck for the future.
Although I like to using Bitcoin for my transaction but I hope we can use it for investment than for using at now.  First of all, I need to spend many money for my transaction fees, it is not good for my business because earn 10-20 $ / day is very hard for me. Until Bitcoin devs can solve this problem, I just use it for investment.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: January 06, 2018, 04:44:12 PM
because it is out control of central bank and not depeond on $ or gold or oil
Exactly. The government is afraid of it. They cant control it. So they are doing some regulations about bitcoin transactions. In my country, the government is starting to notice the bitcoins presence
Yes, it is normal if you see the price of Bitcoin "always" increases after big dump. The government know the profit of Bitcoin trader and they are really want to tax us as soon as they can. However, they need to cooperate exchange sites first and use KYC to know total profits of every trader. Then, make this market become the place to make money as other fields.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 05, 2018, 04:27:21 PM
As we analyze the trend of bitcoins value in the market, by time it is increasing a bit then it falls again in a bit also. So, I think it will fall again soon, but not that super down, but it increases again and again. Lets just hope that it would recover and reached the highest value it had reached past days the sooner.
Yes as you can know, bitcoin price are slowly increase and slowly decrease and of course bitcoin have a good images to many people so I know that they can't make a reasons to fall down so deep the bitcoin price. Also I believe bitcoin can also recover again the price once fall down. Perhaps sometimes they make the price fall down to encourage more investors .
Haha, according my experience, when the traders forget the price of Bitcoin and greedy by the price of altcoin, that is the time to make Bitcoin increase and dump all altcoin. The whale do that because they want to earn more profit from panic seller, it is very simple and normal in the cryptocurrency market.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turn $10,000 into 1 Million on: December 24, 2017, 11:48:48 PM
Not sure if this was done already but out of curiosity I went back to calculate a buy and hold strategy using HR's OP which was:

$10k investment:
50% LTC
10% BTS
10% STEEM
10% SYS
10% NXT
5% PIVX
5% NEM

After checking the value of each coin on his post date (May 27th 2017) I then compared it to today's market price in USD. Maths seem to show that if HR bought and held with no re-balancing or change of holdings:

LTC: $59k
BTS: 14k
STEEM: 3.6k
SYS: 7.3k
NXT: 49k
PIVX: 6.5k
NEM: 2.6k

Total: 142k

His current portfolio's (with different holdings and %'s) worth 513k, so HR's made an extra 371k compared to buy and hold. Absolutely amazing. It also shows that if you have no financial knowledge of trading and just picked good alts with fundamentals you still would've made 14x your initial investment within 7 months. Sounds almost too good to be true, have I missed anything here?

1400% in 7 months is definitely amazing. No banks will give you that  Grin
Hehe, honestly if he just hold Bitcoin from the time started this thread (the price of Bitcoin is 2000 dollars in that time), he still can earn profits x10 after same time. However, trade altcoin helped him earn more 400% from that amount, he is really a good trader.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: December 24, 2017, 11:42:41 PM
What are you having problems with specifically? How do we know how to help you improve if you don't tell us what aspect of trading you specifically want to improve on? Panic buys/sells? Price prediction? Emotions when trading?

Anyway. Some tips:
- be patient. "shit the coin I bought dropped by $2 already. Sell!!!" Give it time. The price is likely to rebound.
- don't go all in. Especially knowing that you're not an experienced trader. Minimize your risks.
- most of the time, it's not ideal to buy at all time highs. They could drop any minute after your purchase. Again, don't go all in.
The best way to improve your trading is having wide knowledge and awareness on the crypto trading, You should also have the right emotions on this trading business, always remember that there are so many risk involve, but what you need is to find ways in minimizing the risk to the lowest percentage. Study the graphs, and previous statistical records, that might help a lot in building patience. Remember that the price of bitcoin and other altcoin move from time to time. Consider the best timing.
It is so hard to use manual 100%. Unless you have some bots can help you track all cryptocurrencies you have invested, you will not have enough time to check more than 5 coins if you are an altcoin trader. Only trade Bitcoin/USD can not call trading, it is forex.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 11:36:33 PM
Well some government has banned bitcoins as they think bitcoins are threat to society as government can't control bitcoins because bitcoins are decentralized and bitcoins can be used for many illegal activities. And also taxing bitcoin transactions are hard for them and banking would be affected.Bitcoins prices are way too unstable too so government discourage us to invest in them.
At current, I just know the Chinese and Korean government banned ICO in these countries. About Bitcoin, I did not hear any news as ban Bitcoin in this year, can you give me the list countries banned Bitcoin? I will be happy if know it, thanks!
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 24, 2017, 11:29:04 PM
What's this "gentlemen" nonsense? If you can't conceive (that is, until you are told different) that a chick has made as much as you on btc then you are neither wealthy, nor elite. Jus' sayin'...

You seem to be getting caught up on technical bullshit labels to enter into a social justice warrior combat mode rather than appreciating the concept of gentlemen in broader terms - and surely need not be male centric, as you seem to be spastically alleging with little to no reasonable basis.

 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I agree. In this way manner, we can be secured that our investments won't be thrown in dumped. I honestly trust that bitcoin will last for a long time based on how large the demands for it but yeah, we still have be prepared and allocation of investments to different various investment hubs is the best way to do it.
Prepare the worst future of Bitcoin will help you be calm when the price of Bitcoin increase fastly Wink. It does not mean I hate the price of Bitcoin increase to high price like now. However, all things should be reasonable and have ups and downs, not only bull trend to give us huge profits.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 24, 2017, 11:22:08 PM
It is possible that bitkoyn can be ever replaced by another, more promising crypto currency. If bitkoyn, as recently, will not be improved technologically and eliminate its shortcomings, it is possible that a more perfect digital coin will take the place of the leader of the crypto currency. However, starting from the New Year, a lightning network will be introduced in Bitcomyn, which will eliminate the current shortcomings of bitcoins, namely, the slowness of transactions and the high cost of commissioning for them. Therefore, it seems that it is not going to give away its leader to the crypto currency.

Well if that's true that there will be an improvement going on in bitcoin, then I don't think bitcoin will be ever replaced by any altcoins in the market.
We need to wait the decision from devs of Bitcoin and the whale. If they want to make the price of Bitcoin increases more high price, I think next reason will be upgrade the Bitcoin system, example SegWit2x or lightning network ...
219  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 24, 2017, 11:14:56 PM
If the bitcoin price is stable then it will not be popular because there is no dev. who are interested to develop blockchain technology and of course bitcoin will be associated with banks so it looks the same as the previous payment system is paypal.
Bitcoin have stable price or don't have stable price it will still there, but lately it is more popular than before and too many of us are in here too. Maybe next year the number of users maybe triple.
It will happen if the price of Bitcoin can still increase in next year, hehe. The price of Bitcoin can dump more to the low price, but if the price of Bitcoin can not keep support price and dump to below $5,000 or $2,000 in next time, I am sure we will not see any growth of Bitcoin in 2018.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: December 24, 2017, 11:06:27 PM
Bitcoin cash is use of a larger blocksize. Unlike bitcoin, which is only capable of storing one megabyte of transaction data, bitcoin cash uses blocks eight times larger. This means that more data can be processed at once.
It also means that the blockchain gets ridiculously large, which makes it completely useless for scaling.
Hmm... I do not know it, but to be honest, I want to see the big update in the Bitcoin system. We need to solve the current problem of Bitcoin. The biggest problem is the transaction fees and capacity of Bitcoin network. Higher price, more users will make the Bitcoin network has more unconfirmed transactions.
