1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Dowanload Games and Earn Bitcoins on: May 02, 2016, 03:49:50 PM
Beware, these games can bring viruses too

not a bad idea to show people the risk about those type of downloads, some people are not aware about it... another good idea is to have an old phone, so you can test all those things "without" any risk.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Illegal things to buy!! on: April 14, 2016, 01:08:38 PM
You can buy many things with Bitcoin like weapons and bullets and that is indeed quite bad but the world is also getting crazier.

Buying guns, bestiality porn, drugs and other banned substances using physical cash is the most anonymous option. No matter how much you mix your coins, you are likely to leave a trail in the blockchain, leading back to your main wallet. However, if you use hard cash, then no matter how much the cops try, they can't trace you.

some people seems to don't understand that and try to show people how bad bitcoin could be because of that, i mean that this can be used to all those illegal things.

Blockchain cant really detect any transaction that is being used illegally thats why people who do this loves bitcoin and they remain anonymous with it.

not anonymous but pseduo-anonymous
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea Tells Citizens to Prepare Themselves for Famine on: April 04, 2016, 04:07:01 PM

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 19, 2016, 11:15:39 AM
Let's say a young teenager is given some coming-of-age money from their family, and is interested in growing that money through Bitcoin. Without encouraging him/her to invest in risky strategies, what are some lower risk methods of growing a Bitcoin portfolio with a hypothetical gift of $1K?

there is no safe methods, thats the first and most important rule to understand, but if you ask me, i suggest you to hold your btc, we are into an important halving year, so maybe in a "short" time thats the best thing you can do.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tony Robbins discovered Bitcoin! on: February 19, 2016, 01:16:31 PM
It's all positive promotion and, for one, it's more than welcome! Let's be thankful there are people outside of the Bitcoin industry willing to promote it, otherwise most mainstream exposure would be due to negative news such as Cryptolocker and Bitcoin ransom.

Exactly, like the news that i read yesterday from this forum about the google devs, they was "promoting" bitcoin on his YouTube channel, we cant expect nothing better than that, spread the Word of bitcoin is always welcome and thats exactly what they are indirectly doing.

What we should do is to retweet them too.
6  Other / Meta / Re: What Roger Ver thinks about Theymos? on: February 08, 2016, 03:50:13 PM
I don't get it.And why is it so important what Roger Ver thinks about a person?

exactly, all those type of news did not help bitcoin, all those guys should concentrate his efforts on bitcoin instead of fighting with each others, because thats all we want yes? the successful of bitcoin, or not?

I don't get it.And why is it so important what Roger Ver thinks about a person?
I find it kind of suspicious that Roger Ver was hanging around with a shady guy like Marshall Long in Thailand and now both are supporting Bitcoin Classic.Just a coincedence of course. Roll Eyes

I once had a really good opinion about Roger. But this is changing more and more.Kind of sad and disappointing that he is moving this direction.

ofc, everything related to this world is a coincidence Wink
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU meeting on BTC live 1/25 15:00-19:00 UTC on: January 25, 2016, 06:30:15 PM
Although I'd very much prefer they wouldn't even talk about Bitcoin and/or regulate it in any way, I have to admit the EU is having quite the attitude towards Bitcoin. At least they're not rushing to shut it down right now, which is very, very good.

Maybe because they simply cant do it; sometimes the calm is a sign of a heavy storm, maybe that's the reason about why they are so quiet. thank you about the link i will take a look at the video, but i don't expect "big steps".
8  Economy / Economics / Re: The Big Short (movie) thoughts? on: January 09, 2016, 05:25:48 PM

On December 12, 2010, 12:22:33 PM (local), Satoshi Nakamoto, founder of Bitcoin, penned his last post on this forum.

12  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-11-12] Bitcoin has no future, says UBS chairman Axel Weber on: November 12, 2015, 03:04:45 PM
But why you guys are so surprised that he said "because there is no lender of last resort – there will always be boom and bust”.?

Obviously he is a "bank fan", so he will be always against bitcoin, bitcoin is the opposite that he need to be rich, he cant scam now people with his "lend", believe me those types of guys are just dinosaurs on an age that they dont want to understand...
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NYT Mag asks: Could you kill a baby Hitler? on: October 28, 2015, 01:36:36 PM
Baby Hitler seems to be a smart kid.

i think so, like all kids, but as you already know, he will turn into a monster.

I´d definitely not kill anybody, just snatch him and put him up with some nice family, maybe in Finland. Nobody would be any the wiser.

im thinking the same as you, education is the most important thing, im pretty sure that things will be different if he received it in a different way, sad that he didn't Sad
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the world look like in 10 years if Bitcoin succeeds? on: October 15, 2015, 01:23:22 PM
the reason why gov don't want bitcoin to grow, by spreadig false info from tiem to time

i really think that the reason about why gov don't want bitcoin to grow is so simply, because they don't have the control, until they find the way to take the control, they will stay away from bitcoin.

btw about the main question, in general, there will new rich people yes, but maybe with better soul  than the current one...
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Karpeles trial on: October 01, 2015, 06:27:13 PM
