261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding Ended - 29.94BTC Raised on: January 30, 2016, 12:37:33 AM
Very few people are actualy staking, I just got my first PoS block in few minutes since wallet unlock and I have less than 4,000 WARP total. Netstakeweigth is realy low as well as PoS difficulty. At http://84.200.4.70:3001/richlist top 10 addresses created only 8 PoS blocks so far! Other than that things work smoothly on my side (Win7).

I will gradualy increase liquidity at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=PXC_BTC so move your "high-volume" trading there, it is decent exchange with many altcoins and great security.

I'm moving my trading to SafeCex, some people behind Cryptopia are way too arogant and stupid for my taste and the whole place stinks even though they seemingly have good exchange security.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Phoenixcoin PXC - An epic speculation! on: January 28, 2016, 02:54:20 PM
I have not even heard of this coin before. What is this altcoin about? What special feature does this coin over others?
PXC was pretty famous in 2013, a bright coin from the 1st wave,
abandoned in 2014
now listed at Cryptopia

arising from the ashes?

a very small market cap <$10,000
and a pretty broad distribution

PXC was listed at Cryptsy since coin was lauched, market there was a major one with roughly 0.05 BTC daily trade volume. Coin is still listed there. Other trivia at http://wiki.cryptsy.com/pxc

265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Phoenixcoin PXC - An epic speculation! on: January 27, 2016, 01:39:35 PM
The name Phoenix as a world currency was mentioned on many places, especialy at NWO conspiracy domain. For a start, check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl6NxH65mGU and comments below video, there are some very revealing ones like "The Phoenix is the song that transgender Jesus sung !!!!". Then switch back to cryptocoins domain and check the following links:

http://phoenixcoin.org/
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330956.0

Mining algo is NeoScrypt and this coin was actualy the first ever cryptocoin to switch to that algo, very revealing if you know that NeoScrypt was designed (and is still under development) for CPU and GPU mining (which is what almost everyone has this days) and how much elites like the word Neo and meaning behind it (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/neo-). Then there is a developer with nickname "ghostlander" using "Welcome to Hell" avatar and "No surrender, no retreat, no regret" signature, all appropriate. Then there are 3 official nodes at PXC network with names atlas, prometheus and menoetius (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330956.msg8436416#msg8436416), all appropriate. And then there is great text at http://wiki.cryptsy.com/pxc on this coin which sounds almost perfect for what could one day become a world currency, an altcoin totaly slammed, corrupted, mutilated and ignored by majority but still alive and kicking after almost 3 years.

Current price for 1 PXC is roughly 0.0001 USD, the best deal ever? Marketcap at roughly 4,000 USD with the first halving coming in few months and then subsequent one at roughly year 2018.

Speculate!

Initial plan is already broken no matter what you do with those PoS generated coins. They were not supposed to exist at all at this time. And yes, I think you are doing all this to bump this thread.

Restoring trust? Dumbshit, I and anyone else dead-serious about money, economy and everything else human-made and human-dependant have joined cryptocoins exactly because no trust is required for it to work. You are on the wrong forum, go to "I am banker so trust me" one. Here you are 100% playing "trust me, I am honest" and because no exchange (which I would trust way more than you) is involved it is highly likely you are scammer. There is zero guarantee you will do anything other than send coins to loser investors and, so far, 95% such deals around here were scams.

This is my last warning to investors, I don't want to help this guy anymore in any way so no more posts (thread bumps) from me.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: January 27, 2016, 09:57:41 AM
RPC getcheckpoint shows the latest checkpoint.

It shows that checkpoint is at the last mined block or I am interpreting data wrong. I mean, if checkpoint is at the last mined block than how come blockchain reorg in case of forking (orphans)?

"synccheckpoint" : "c49cf89579d60f3093794dad7096e025a2f491b086d2241e9969069abe958d3d",
"height" : 915827,
"timestamp" : 1453888427,
"subscribemode" : "enforce"
}

What I was thinking with "checkpoint" is hard-coded (or automatic) blockheight below which no reorg can ever be done, regardless of how much hashpower attacker has or whatever else. For example, with Bitcoin checkpoints were added by developers at certain blockheights, usualy few thousand blocks behind the latest block. Such approach is considered centralized (requires trust) so many altcoins switched to automatic checkpointing, done by each and all nodes on their own (trustless).

Unrelated, getmininginfo reveals that current PXC hashrate is only a few million hashes per second so how many GPUs would that be? A dozen, or less? What is NeoScrypt hashrate of a top GPU used this days anyways? I'm thinking to start solo-mining PXC but can't find any decent mining calculator.

268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 27, 2016, 09:15:08 AM
Hey so for people that don't know, I've started to move the WARP chain so all wallets do sync now.

I've made a staking test too, which resulted in 601.30386127 WARP being generated.

I'm willing to destroy these coins or donate them. Would like to hear people's opinions about this.

So before this coin even launched you have already broke the promise? And now you are using broken promise to make people post more so this thread stays on the first page, so lame of you.

I say destroy them so the initial plan works!

If he destroys them initial plan would fail because maximum supply would be less than 1,618,000 WARP. So the only right thing to do here would be to distribute those coins to investors, it would break initial plan as well but with less damage caused. Third option would be that developer keeps those coins which would be a super lame outcome, why not as well let him stake few thousands more so that he does not have to buy any coins later?

Now I am even more convinced that my original thoughts about this project posted earlier at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1329494.msg13609751#msg13609751 will be proven correct. Anyone who is at this forum for more than a year should know there were like 100+ other altcoins which had much better story, supposed purpose, name, logo, roadmap, developer team and many other things but all failed miserably after a while or were a scam from the begging, with nothing realy delivered. I think shapetwist cleverly played on the fact most people tend to forget very quickly.

And it is realy shocking to me that some people are ready to invest 1+ BTC into a project that is not listed on even one exchange. A year or so ago one exchange prior to lunch would be a bare minimum for anything to be taken seriously but, obviously, now it takes even less for people to fall for scams here.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: January 26, 2016, 03:04:35 PM
Explorer at http://explorer.phoenixcoin.org/chains is stucked for more than 6 days and no changes were made to official PXC website.  Undecided

Does PXC wallet uses automatic checkpointing? If not, at what blockheight is the latest checkpoint?
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MSK]MaskNetwork testnet launched. Testers needed. on: January 24, 2016, 03:31:34 PM
This is an alpha software. In case you find bugs (and you will find Smiley ), please report them here or use the contact form on web nodes.

This is one of the most complex projects launched in the last years and we really need a lot of testers. We will keep you updated.

So you are not only attempting to sell us very overpriced coins but also expecting us to test your alpha software and report bugs, suggestions and participate in all this for free? Funny guy!  Cheesy
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 24, 2016, 03:01:07 PM
If it is a smooth coin launch and distribution, and the dev begins showing he is capable of delivering on his words, I do not think it is likely people will start dumping for less than their purchase price.

In order for anyone to conveniently buy or sell there must be an exchange but it is mentioned nowhere. And with top investor sitting on almost 50% coin supply I can easily see a major issues coming when it comes to network and double-spending. So it would be smart to extend crowdfunding for at least few more weeks and use that time to secure WARP addition to one or more exchanges.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human Mining - Decentralized MMO and Crypto Game on: January 23, 2016, 08:22:34 PM
There is no rush or deadline but still, sooner we get HUC on Cryptopia the better. Just send to 1CimAZvvuw1VdjwAiKcoq3Dn97Z2dQGJvT and as soon as 0.08 BTC is there I'll buy 500,000 DOT and go through the rest of procedure required for coin listing. Balance for address is 0.008 BTC at the moment, check it at https://blockchain.info/address/1CimAZvvuw1VdjwAiKcoq3Dn97Z2dQGJvT

Balance is still at 0.008 BTC only, my contribution.

Is it realy possible this community has dropped so low, poor and stupid that deals like one Cryptopia offered will be ignored? What, all of you combined don't have less than 40 USD required to immidiately add HUC to legit exchange (registered business at New Zealand), a deal which normaly costs 400 USD at that exchange and usualy more at other exchanges, or you think deal is not worth the money? How fucking stupid can you go? Poloniex can go down the same way all major cryptocoin exchanges went, anytime, and then you will do what? No exchange, no coins (since I can bet you are dumb enough to keep all your coins at Poloniex), way to go?

You can debate whatever technical matters you want but you are totaly failing at fundamentals. And for now I am still around trying to help there but it is highly likely I'll stop losing my time here.

Don't send any BTC, deal if off as far as I'm concerned. With it goes off any sort of my support for HUC so now you can debate stupid irrelevant shits here, dump to a new all-time low, I don't care.

Read this thread and also https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/251?page=1 to get a picture of the state of Corgicoin. I will no longer reply on stupid "I'm lazy ass, please help!" questions.

Okay!! Seriously yes. I need help here.

My old Corgicoin wallet cannot sync. I added new nodes but no luck. I installed new wallet https://github.com/SoonCoin/Corgicoinnew/releases and cannot get load OLD corgicoin wallet. I know this is not how it works.

How can I be able to swap my old corgi to new. I have a backup of old wallet though.

Please help!!

Well, an old wallet.dat file will not work with a new CORGI wallet software. You must use old CORGI wallet (download it from previous page) and then add IPs of some other nodes to sync it, as explained at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=444700.msg13616230#msg13616230. Old CORGI wallet should sync if you have done everything correctly but there is another problem, someone went crazy with mining old CORGI and pumped difficulty to 13+ then stopped mining so now blockchain is not moving at all. So it is pointless to send old CORGI anywhere unless you or someone else starts mining as well.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Corgi community foundation on: January 20, 2016, 06:00:25 PM
Wondering how come I missed CORGI coin swap. Where is it happening? Where do I have to send my coins.

Thanks much appreciated

ATTENTION!

New CORGI giveaway is active at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/251?postId=3304 so go get your new CORGI wallet and free Bitcoin killa coins!  Grin

Coin swap is ongoing but do not wait for too long, at some point all mining on old network will stop and all exchanges will switch to a new CORGI.

Old CORGI wallet download at http://www.megafileupload.com/qOjW/Corgi.7z

ATTENTION!

This thread is no longer an official CORGI thread, move debate and everything else to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1153794.0 and also make sure that you have swapped your old coins for a new ones on time, coin swap will not be running forever!

Another CORGI thread and coin swap are hosted at Cryptopia, check https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/251?page=1

working nodes as of right now

76.95.178.229:62556
98.115.147.74:62556
108.61.48.17:62556

and the new corgicoin is staking nicely

Can you help me to explain how i have to add these addnodes again. I have done that once before for another coin, but have forgotten how to do that.

First locate directory where your wallet.dat file is located and then create a new text file at the same location, named corgicoin.conf (NOT corgicoin.conf.txt or whatever else!!!). Paste addnodes listed below to that file, save it and then restart your old CORGI wallet.
