Tell me please, what is the difference between Old Corgicoin and corgicoin?

how much time between staking 1 day or 12 hours? or 6 hours?

Lazy bastards, all info you need is provided on this thread and thread linked above your posts.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 19, 2016, 08:18:18 PM
How long is the crowdsale, and what is the goal for funding? Like 1 week and 2 BTC?

The sale ends Thursday Jan 28 at 12:00 CET.

There isn't a specific goal for the funding to be a success so to speak. The features to be implemented in the wallet are not crazy expensive, but of course they cost time of specialized developers. With 2 BTC this project fails, and everyone gets a refund. With 10 BTC some features can be implemented, but not the whole package.

I think WARP price can go up to 3k satoshis at least by the end of the sale. That is a realistic approach. Above that, 4k or 5k are possible, would give a better chance of having all my dream developments implemented!

But that's just speculation. Anyway, those prices are still quite cheap for such a low supply and the presented features.

* And by the way, this project was self funded so far. I don't intend to earn anything directly from the crowdfunding. Funding will allow to develop apps and services that generate value.

Maybe you should just set the purchase price at 5000 sats or more, and extend the ipo to a month. People might be willing to spend more bitcoin to get a guaranteed amount of warp, instead of it being a wild chance that you could end up with 10,000 + or under 1 warp

For now, I am just watching this thread. Based on shapetwist past posts on that account it seems to me he is an average high-risk trader (gambler) more than anything else so I can't see much stuff coming from this project. What I can see though is that he participated in much more than 1 failed altcoin where so many promises were made but nothing realy delivered. And I see nothing delivered here so far except generic PoS wallet costing like 0.2 BTC to create, an image I can make in under 5 minutes which supposedly shows future version of wallet and a lot of promises. What my intuition, which saved me like hundred times here starting with MtGox debacle, is telling me is that shapetwist will use money for personal trading and deliver nothing but excuses and more excuses before he just dissapears. So I strongly suggest to investors to think triple before investing serious money into this project.

You have been warned.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 19, 2016, 10:44:07 AM
If the amount raised is clearly not enough to work with and to kickstart an economical environment I will have no choice but to consider the project a failure and return everyone's BTC.

I've figured that out, finaly noticed "Your BTC address (In case of refund)" at http://www.warpcoin.com/presale.html  Grin
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 19, 2016, 10:20:33 AM
Supply: 1,094,500 WARP
Total coin supply 1,618,000 WARP

Any good reason for such weird values? I mean, it would be much easier to calculate marketcap and % of ownership if you went with 1 million for supply and 1.5 or 2 millions for total supply.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Crowdfunding NOW OPEN on: January 19, 2016, 01:21:34 AM
Since there are a few misconceptions about wallet syncing, I'm forced to state this: this is a proof-of-stake-only coin.
The wallet won't sync until there is staking pressure. Since distribution doesn't start until the sale ends, the wallet won't sync for the mean time.
Having a wallet now enables you to generate a WARP address where you can receive your coins.
As soon as the sale ends, the chain will start moving, the wallets will sync, distribution will begin and staking will start.

Ohh realy? So how come will transactions ever get confirmed and coins mature enough to start staking unless chain is already moving? I send you 0.1 BTC for WARP, you send me WARP and then what? Who will confirm that transaction in the first place?
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human Mining - Decentralized MMO and Crypto Game on: January 18, 2016, 04:50:29 PM
Damn, wish I'd known this before using my spare funds to buy HUC, or else I'd contribute to the listing. At least I got some cheap coins below 300 satoshis! Cheesy

Not sure where you bought so cheap but all-time low on Poloniex was 334 Satoshis. Some people are unfortunately working hard to beat that record. Given that most effort lately was put into developing bots so not even player time is required to gather coins I'd say we will see a new all-time low soon, with no signs of significant recovery. Then "Human Mining" part should be removed.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HUC] Huntercoin - Human Mining - Decentralized MMO and Crypto Game on: January 18, 2016, 04:30:05 PM
With Cryptsy now gonne it would be smart to not depend on Poloniex alone but add HUC to one more exchange. Cryptopia offered a nice deal for all coins that traded on Cryptsy, for not much money. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/492 so roughly 0.08 BTC (500,000 DOT must be bought at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=DOT_BTC) are needed to immidiately list HUC at Cryptopia, anyone willing to donate some money? I'm willing to participate with 10% but no more.

https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_huc should be removed from starting post here because Cryptsy is highly likely not coming back online.

i can give 0.04 btc but i may not get time until the end of the week

There is no rush or deadline but still, sooner we get HUC on Cryptopia the better. Just send to 1CimAZvvuw1VdjwAiKcoq3Dn97Z2dQGJvT and as soon as 0.08 BTC is there I'll buy 500,000 DOT and go through the rest of procedure required for coin listing. Balance for address is 0.008 BTC at the moment, check it at https://blockchain.info/address/1CimAZvvuw1VdjwAiKcoq3Dn97Z2dQGJvT

What's up with cryptopia using a bad certificate?

It works perfectly fine with Firefox, no complains of any kind.

Should be added to starting post here as well as direct link to Cryptopia market, that exchange is not easy to navigate for noobs.

I will gradualy increase liquidity at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=PXC_BTC so move your "high-volume" trading there, it is decent exchange with many altcoins and great security.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: January 17, 2016, 11:29:36 AM
I think Cryptsy is finished. Not sure if you have checked their latest blog entry at http://blog.cryptsy.com/ but it is quite revealing. So far, none of exchanges that were badly hacked realy managed to recover, besides MtGox and MintPal that never recovered there are still running but almost abandoned Vircurex and Bter. I'm not seeing why should Cryptsy end up any better. I for sure won't be trading there anymore.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 on: January 16, 2016, 07:54:23 PM
Again, there is something fishy with all those 21s. Satoshi said 21 million coins is an educated guess but I find it highly unlikely there are no connections with Agenda 21 which is all for cashless, (self)-controled and monitored society, blockchain and cryptos being the obvious tools for the cause. Then when 21 Inc. are added to the story it realy is revealing but somehow no one cares.

If it turns out I was right and Agenda 21 people pump 1 BTC to 1+ million USD, make it the only currency and chip everyone will you still be happy? I guess so and that makes me realy angry.  Angry

Seemingly the smartest of all humans turned into Agenda 21 puppets, that would suck.

Numerology can make someone turn into an schizophrenic if you pay too much attention to it. Sure, the elites like all those kind of mental games, and im sure some sort of coded messages are there in the numbers, but you can't be thinking everything is interconnected through numbers otherwise you lose perspective.

It is actualy the oppossite. It is majority who are not "thinking everything is interconnected through numbers" that lost perspective, if they ever had it right in the first place (most likely not).

Grin

295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: January 16, 2016, 01:09:19 PM
poloniex is holding my funds too, support said they can't seem to keep their wallet synced.

would bitcoin-otc allow qora to be sold?

poloniex is a good exchange as far as I know. if they have issues with the wallet, then there are probably some bugs

There are few nasty bugs, for example if you try to register a name while wallet just received a new block it will freeze and after an inevitable restart it will resync down from the genesis block.
296  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Rudarenje on: January 16, 2016, 01:02:11 PM

297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: January 16, 2016, 12:40:51 PM
Well at least critical upgrades to DDoS protection, OpenSSL and such stuff should be added to PXC, you can skip the cosmetics. As for CC, I absolutely love it and use it so thanks for that! As a sidenote, it seems to me it is about the right time to withdraw all PXC from Cryptsy and to start working on PXC addition to some Chinese exchange.

http://www.coindesk.com/digital-currency-exchange-cryptsys-problems-partners/

Absolutely. Cryptsy is deep in trouble, their cold wallets are empty or inaccessible. However they run PXC with a hot wallet only and there are still about 3 million coins left. Withdrawals are quick and easy.

https://coinplorer.com/PXC/Addresses/PsBEHsv1vV5Fi9SZvrszeU8SRYsZWR8Ukn

The Chinese are easy to get in touch if you speak their language. I don't unfortunately. If anyone could do this on our behalf, it could be great.

Cryptsy was using much more than one address. I myself have sent coins to at least 10 different deposit addresses there and when withdrawing coins I received them from up to 10 different Cryptsy addresses. With Cryptsy now gonne (for good) I wonder how many PXC are actualy available and how many might be lost forever. As for chinese exchange, maybe you (as developer hence authority) should create a thread at chinese section of this forum and ask for some help? We can gather some coins and pay them to whoever manages to add PXC to some chinese exchange, I'll donate 50,000 PXC for the cause.

http://phoenixcoin.org should get some attention as well, starting with Copyright © 2013 – 2015 Phoenixcoin Developers. Resources section seems to me outdated as well and About section would sound much better if the whole UNOCS part is removed.

On speculation matters, just yesterday I've stumbled upon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl6NxH65mGU and now I'm thinking to add a some info about PXC to comments, to spice things up.

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best buy right now is not Bitcoin, it is ALTCOINS on: January 13, 2016, 12:03:14 PM
If bitcoin fails, every altcoin will fail. It does not matter if some altocoins have better technology or not.

Ohh, one of the epic bullshits rotating around cryptocoin community.
