401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Spells of Genesis - Innovating the Game Economy with BitCrystals (BCY) on: December 06, 2015, 10:44:55 AM
WOW 730,000 BCY burned for November, and Spells of Genesis is not even fully launched.

At this pace we should see the number of existing BCY fall considerably.

Well done to the team, keep them cards coming!

 Grin
Yes, at this rate, BCY price will rise considerably even without extra demand.
Now imagine when the game is launched and will transfer all Moonga players in here. To the MOON  Wink

Few other coins attempted market manipulation by (constantly) burning a part of coin supply (see Chancecoin) but it never worked, pretty much the same as high stake PoS coins that all failed. Nicely packed scams but you can continue thinking that 1 BCY will be worth 1 BTC one day because they are so few.

In the end, the only ones who will make decent profit out of this whole deal are developers, well played so congratz!
402  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Deckbound: collectible card games based on bitcoin on: December 06, 2015, 10:40:47 AM
This whole deal is puzzling me for many months now so I decided to finaly ask for some help. I don't find Deckbound website informative enough especially in end-user topics, there is a ton of info written but none of it really helps someone who just want to join for fun. For example, at https://www.deckbound.com/earlyaccess I can buy cards but upon clicking "buy now" button I've been redirected to Coinbase, what is not explained at all is if I'm supposed to send BTC from address I own or I can send BTC from anywhere, like exchanges. What happens after I send BTC to Coinbase address? And then what exactly I'm buying because "3-pack, 1-hero pre purchase" means absolutely nothing to me? Why would I need more then 1 hero? How many cards are in a card pack? Am I getting cards from block 1 or 2?

Also, http://index.deckbound.com/explorer does not work with Firefox.

Still looking for answers, anyone?

Chris Ellis is making bitcoin fullnodes nodes live on Youtube after funding them on StartJoin:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqeH6YG0sO4&feature=youtu.be

Edit:

And second part : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZaLDA0zuFA&feature=youtu.be

Bitcoin accessible full-nodes = over 5,000
Startcoin accessible full-nodes = less than 25 and on many occassions less than 10

Get my drift?

I can't seem to sync the chain...

Keeps saying lots of that...

First of all, make sure you are using the latest wallet. If problem is still present then just run wallet once with -reindex option. Once reindexing is over you can also run it once with -rescan option.

408  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Synala + Offline Signer Released -- Become Your Own BitPay! on: December 04, 2015, 03:04:19 PM
@SISAR -- I'm assuming you're viewing on a tablet or phone?  That's default for mobile devices due to screen size.  If you use a laptop or desktop, the menu will remain in place.

Notebook with Firefox @ 1680 x 1050 pixels.

Sisar: ok. Tried goggle how fast the core increases in size, but I'm left empty on answers... As I said; think I have only 100gb on my server, would that be a problem?

That should be enough for like 1 more year unless blocksize goes up.
409  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Synala + Offline Signer Released -- Become Your Own BitPay! on: December 03, 2015, 10:06:34 PM
At http://demo.envrin.com/synala/admin once admin clicks on let's say Settings then General the left-side Settings menu shrinks back to default state. It should stay expanded, showing all options.

Envrin:
Ok, so I need the core (20gb) on my server. I'll need to check if I even got that much of space, hehe, but I think I have 100gb, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Full blockchain is close to 60GB right now.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (POLL) Which wallet do you think is best with the best features? on: December 03, 2015, 09:58:18 PM
Bitcoin Core has the best features for me. I only need to be able to send and receive transactions, and also signing messages. That for me is all I need.

+1

As far as I know Bitcoin Core (or XT) are the only wallets that do not relly on some 3rd parties so if you are serious about the whole crypto deal you should realy not look into any other wallets.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: December 03, 2015, 08:37:53 PM
MiningPoolHub's Phoenixcoin wallet couldn't find peer time to time.
Can you tell me stable peer that stands for a long time?

As a miner you should be connected to as many other nodes as possible to reduce a chance for your blocks becoming orphaned because of slow data propagation so add all nodes listed below.

addnode=96.19.102.106
addnode=162.217.250.114
addnode=174.21.163.65
addnode=185.53.128.119

StartJoin has been updated with some new graphics and info

https://www.startjoin.com/pages/how-it-works

This and that, once they provide a formula for https://startjoin.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202368146-How-do-StartCOIN-rewards-work- I might start thinking of that website as a legit business.

Be careful when depositing XCR to Poloniex, I have sent some coins there few days ago but even though they are confirmed on blockchain a long time ago Poloniex still plays stupid and didn't credited those coins to my account nor their support service responded with satisfactory answer yet. They will let me know when status changes but for now my coins are nowhere. So if you send coins to Poloniex do not send more than a few at first, to check if deposit works for you.

416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bethesda Create Bitcoin? What Are The Three Towers? Relevance Of 9/11? on: November 27, 2015, 11:27:40 AM
If this is correct that then we can establish that there are three digital currencies associated with the Illuminati;

1) Bitcoin
2) Ixcoin
3) Bottlecaps

I would suggest that Bitcoin and IXcoin were created as "mask" or "dummy" coins designed to absorb most of the worlds "public money" and the governments, Illuminati, and new world order will put all their money into a third digital currency unsuspected by anyone yet in plain sight.

What about putting all money in a currency that we all think is ficticious because it is in a game, but actually as we head towards an apocalypse would it not be fitting to enslave man to bottlecaps?

Vlad2Vlad, you said it once that some old scroll has a ticker of currency to be used to enslave masses and that it is XIC (sounds to me like ISO letter X and International Currency) but you keep on talking about IXC and now Bottlecaps. With IXC you were obviously wrong but now with Bottlecaps you totaly missed it. I guess you managed to buy a lot of it for cheap and now you are using David Icke rethoric trying to pump the price up. Wrong forum, try at http://forum.davidicke.com
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SILKCOIN][DARKSILK PREANN][TESTING STORMNODES/DarkSIlk MARKET/I2P] on: November 27, 2015, 11:07:17 AM
Just stick with current graphics and color palette, they are perfectly fine. The same goes for name and all else, there are countless instances of current SILK branding all over the web and it is very bad idea to make them obsolete. Rebranding did not work well for even one altcoin so don't waste time, money and efforts on it.

security is also important. If you can merge mine with ltc and get a bunch of people merge mining then it makes it a lot harder for 51% attacks.

In case of major Scrypt pool starting to merge-mine SXC that pool becomes a 51% attacker or much worse. And imagine a situation where that pool or one of pools with huge amount of hashrate stops mining for some reason, SXC difficulty would be so high that the rest of pools and solo-miners combined would need ages to create the next block. But even if doomsday scenario does not happen there would be a constant dumping of SXC by miners who basicaly get it for free, as an extra while mining LTC or whatever else Scrypt they are mining.

SXC community should consider switching to NXT Monetary System. There the security is provided by NXT itself, big deal because NXT is one of major altcoins and no one there is even close to 51% attacker status. Also SXC Scrypt mining can continue as usual, as a way to distribute still unmined coins. As an extra SXC gets all features NXT has to offer like marketplace, aliases, assets, encrypted messaging and so on. Those features actualy require NXT coins but there is in-built decentralized exchange for Monetary System so SXC to NXT and NXT to SXC conversions are an easy task, all done inside NXT wallet.

419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Phoenixcoin v0.6.6.0 ~ NeoScrypt on: November 22, 2015, 05:49:31 PM
Not sure why NiceHash thinks the difficulty is too low. P2Pool sets it accordingly to its hash power which is rather inconsistent recently. It solves blocks just fine though.

It seems to me that they are reducing the load and bandwidth consumption of their servers by receiving and sending only shares with difficulty 15 or higher. So to work with NiceHash your P2Pool should advertise or set default difficulty to 15 or higher.

And realy, you should put all your efforts into adding PXC to at least one other exchange because Cryptsy seems to be going MtGox style.

$3 huh ? *shrugs*

Wait, so there are actualy people dumb enough to pay someone to stake for them instead of just staking themselves? Am I reading that right or not? If yes, this is by far the most stupid shit I've seen on this forum for years, congratz!
