On it's surface I like the idea but I haven't put much thought into it yet.

The political system needs to undergo some fundamental changes for this to work.

First of all, political donations should be limited to $1000 per physical person of voting age.  No corporate/business donations should be allowed. A federal registration to keep track of political candidates and their donations is required.

Lobbying should be banned and criminalized.  Any candidate who takes donations outside of what is allowed should be automatically disqualified for life.

All candidates should be selected based on merit.  A 'Political Olympiad' exam winners would be my choice.

All government employees should be hired based on merit in their corresponding fields.

This will eliminate lawyers and lobbyists running departments they have no expertise in, HHS comes to mind.

742  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Black Crimes Matter on: July 04, 2020, 12:19:38 PM
Blacks make up 13% of the population, yet commit more than 50% of the crime.

This is a lie.  I think you meant to say 50% of *reported* crime.

This means you never knew enough about the real statistic to ask why white crime is underreported.  Take drug-related crime as an example. There is an abundance of data suggesting white people use illegal drugs at a higher rate while being incarcerated at a much lower rate.  I challenge you all to reflect on why this might be the case and how this might affect everything else.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2377408/

lazy as fuck.  Especially the North American ones.

There is no 'systemic racism' anywhere in the USA or Canada.  Do you want proof?

Look at the success of East Indians and Asians.

Hard work works.

You just proved that Asians do not face the same sort of racism black people face by showing us that you hold the same stereotypes that are common in society.  The stereotype that other races work harder than blacks is the bedrock for the systemic oppression you don't think exists.  You are not only part of it, but you are actively spreading it.

It just tells me you don't know any East Indian or Asian families.

You are completely ignoring the fact that these racial groups work much harder than anyone else, including the whites.

Racism against blacks is a cop-out.  The real reason is that the whole Black communities have been demoralized and demotivated by the gang culture.  In many cases, terrorized by Black gangs.

Lack of education and poverty is a real issue.

Put a Black youngster in a poor, immigrant East Indian or Asian family and you will see what would happen.
You will get a doctor, lawyer, or engineer.

Put the same youngster in the 'hood' and he will remain poor, get killed, or become a drug addict.

Blacks need to reform themselves.  Only they can help themselves.  No one will do it for them.

Taking stuff at the expense of others, or burning down the system as advocated by the BLM is not a solution.

Blacks make up 13% of the population, yet commit more than 50% of the crime.
More than 90% of Blacks killed are murdered by other Blacks.
Black crime is often ignored or even glamorized.
Why not protest this?

Blacks are lazy as fuck.  Especially the North American ones.

There is no 'systemic racism' anywhere in the USA or Canada.  Do you want proof?

Look at the success of East Indians and Asians.

Hard work works.

Parenting, family support is all it matters when it comes to education.

You cannot break the cycle of poverty without education.

Blacks should stop idolizing the gang culture, stop shooting each other, instead, they should start reading more.
744  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: June 27, 2020, 10:58:06 PM
Socialism doesn't stop anyone from doing better than everyone else.  the people who are motivated by watching poor people suffer are psychopaths or themselves sick and depressed due to alienation.   It manifests itself in many ways but this attitude that "If no one can suffer, then theres no motivation of me doing anything great" is sad.

You are motivated by watching what rich people do and listening to what they say.

Watching poor people is depressing and demotivating.

Life is a struggle, no matter how rich or poor you are.

Giving stuff for free is demotivating.

Being hungry (literally and figuratively) is motivating.  If it is not motivating you, you have some mental issues.

People who advocate socialism and/or communism are mentally retarded and lazy as fuck, IMHO.
745  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oregon County requires white people to wear masks, POC exempt on: June 26, 2020, 10:44:57 AM
It just shows that any special rules based on race are racist.

Like affirmative action.

Treat everyone the same. This will eliminate racism.
746  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: June 26, 2020, 10:37:35 AM
people are not lazy.  they are sick and depressed from alienation.

Socialism is not appealing to ambitious and motivated people who want to do better than everyone else.

You draw your conclusions.

BTW, in socialism, all people are either sick or depressed.

The idea itself is sick.
747  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why socialism? on: June 25, 2020, 01:45:31 PM
Perhaps you should read bookchin or at least get a basic understanding about how some of these places operate or their philosophy before coming to those blanket conclusions.  Purely democratic states do not involve rules or a state.  Just groups of people agreeing to do things together with voluntary participation.

You are forgetting about one thing.  95% of people are complete idiots.

In a true democracy, you would not be able to agree which leaves to use to wipe your ass.
Never mind running a complex society.

No matter the political system, you need leaders, you need a ruling class.

Socialism makes almost everyone as poor as a church mouse.

We need meritocracy, not socialism.
748  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Safety note- Do not wash poultry before cooking. on: June 24, 2020, 02:39:34 PM
Yesterday I bought a price reduced meal from the supermarket - £3.75 reduced to £0.19, and I couldn't resist it.It was a ready to cook Fajita chicken strips meal with peppers and a sour cream dressing. I thought this would be great for breakfas. I'm a bit cautious about these prepared meals, so I read the ingredient and the warnings. One of these surprised me, and I'm not sure why it was included. As the thread title says, the warning was "Safety Note - Do not was poultry before cooking". So what has happened to our society that prompts warnings like this? It can't be that tap water is unsafe, as they exhort you to wash utensils after preparation and cooking.  It can't be the danger of spitting whilst stir frying, as they could have said ensure the pan has a lid, Or that the meat should be dried before cooking.

So has anybody got any suggestions about the changes to our society that prompt messages like this?

I raise my own Cornish X chickens every year.  I always wash the chicken meat before cooking.

Ignore the warning, it was probably a typo.  They meant to say "Safety Note - Always wash poultry before cooking".

Chickens are dirty animals, they poop everywhere, sometimes in food, water, and on top of each other.

Sometimes we have to change their water and clean their boxes, every 3 hours.
749  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics & The English Language -By George Orwell on: June 20, 2020, 02:20:13 PM
This is a quite relevant short essay by George Orwell, the author of 1984. We are now at the point in our political degeneration where words are literally being redefined in an attempt to manipulate the perception of reality itself. Our thoughts are composed of words, therefore our world views are dependent on their definitions. 1984 was not supposed to be a manual, but unfortunately he was even more prophetic than most people ever imagined. Just don't forget, 2 + 2 = 5. Your life may soon depend on it.

https://www.orwell.ru/library/essays/politics/english/e_polit

The laziness and the lack of precision by our current political 'influencers' lead to doublespeak.

hence

preference -> privilege (as in white privilege)

enforcement -> brutality (as in law enforcement)

resentment -> racism

The original meaning of the words on the right is lost as a result.  I believe we truly live in society as described in the 1984 novel, hate=love, war=peace, lie=truth, etc.

750  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is lacking in our society? on: June 19, 2020, 05:44:29 PM
What is lacking in our society? And how to fix it? What can we do to ensure that everyone lives well, that there are no wars and negativity in the world? What can we do so that we can pass on to our children and grandchildren this world in a better condition than it is now?

Responsibility.

People should take responsibility for their actions.  Instead, we get new generations of people who feel the world owes them something.
People who want stuff for free, and feel they are entitled to it.
751  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone... What are your thoughts on it? on: June 19, 2020, 04:06:18 AM
Theres nothing violent about CHAZ/CHOP.  The barricades are to prevent terrorists from driving through the crowd  and make it difficult for anyone to assault the crowd which is something that has been happening around the country.

The mixup of individuals, philosophies and nations in the same chart?

If not just "garbage" it's downright weird. Stein? On the same chart as Mao, Reagan, Jefferson? You are kidding, right? Sanders? Middle of the road, eh? He's one of the more authoritarian creeps of the last several decades.

But regardless, a chart of this type with FAILED US SOCIALIST CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT?
The point is to put them all on the same chart so people can get a visual idea about where different ideologies fall on the spectrum.  Anyone can take the quiz but you can also take the quiz based on someone's platform, the policies of a nation, or your understanding of how a past leader would have answered questions based on their policies and quotes.

This particular chart may not place everyone accurate but everyone has a true position and this gets those positions in the correct vicinity at least.  Of course the placing is only as precise as the quiz allows which is somewhat limited and far from comprehensive.

If you have a problem with where Stein, or anyone else is placed, then talk about that and put an argument forward about where you think they should be placed.

People who occupy this area are terrorists.

They should be arrested and charged with sedition.
752  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof BLM is racist or irrational on: June 16, 2020, 01:44:30 PM
a statue of Thomas jefferson has been violated, because he was also a "slave owner"

nowadays equity owners are in principle something similar.

but,

if BLM truly cares so much about slavery, why is it just tearing down statues of slave traders and slave owners from centuries long ago.

why aren't they protesting against the current slavery in Africa. why so hypocritical?

also why do they call the police when someone drives into their protesting rallies?

the only logical answer is BLM is simply a racist movement, otherwise it would protest for the current slaves in africa and not attack figures of american colonisation and foundation.

BLM is a Black supremacist group.  The successor of the infamous Black Power Movement and the Black Panther Party.

They advocate for economic segregation and the subjugation of other races.

They are anti-capitalist, socialist, anti-colonialist (read anti-white, anti-European) movement.

Their goal is to use the publicized police brutality videos to eventually eliminate the police.  With police gone, their plan is to violently take over white institutions and businesses.  Zimbabwe or South Africa style.

The problem for them is that the US is still a predominantly white country and this version of 'give me free stuff and get out' movement will fall on its ass.

Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone... What are your thoughts on it?

If you don't know what's going on I advice you to google it for yourself, but the mere fact that Seattle downtown is now occupied by anarchists and  none of democratic media have covered it yet says it all to me.

My opinion: I think the US police should be reformed from the top to the bottom, there are many real issues that deserve this kind of reaction by masses, but now we need police more than ever before. This surely looks like the beginning of some horrific 1917 Russia type of shit with literal plot taken from Orwell's Animal Farm.

These "opressed" kids don't know what they're fighting for, if they lived in the post-soviet society they would surely know how all of these communist "equalizing" attempts end up with massive murders, starvation, economy collapse and deep brainwashing (that's already been done by marxist educational system in the US for the last couple of decades unfortunately). This can end up really bad if more sane sitizens hide their tongues in their asses, which is going on a lot right now. They need to speak up and stand up before it's too late.

Here's very educating and scary prophetic words about what's going on now said 30 years ago by a soviet KGB defector:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti2HiZ41C_w&feature=emb_logo

There's too much anger and unconscious actions that may lead to someone with "benevolent" intentions to take advantage of this power, steer it to their will and use it to wipe out the greatness of this beautiful country.

These occupations of public spaces should be dealt with asap.  Organizers and participants should be arrested and charged with robbery.

Otherwise, these bolshevik mini revolutions will metastasize all over the country, then we'll have a real problem.

Deal with it when you can.  Law and order must be restored.
754  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you give your life for your nation? Who matters most, family or nation? on: June 13, 2020, 02:22:22 PM
Was having a debate with a friend. What if I have to choose between my family or my country?

The moment I mentioned that I would never fail my family for an imaginary concept such as nation with imaginary borders, he called me anti-national lol.

Well, I guess, many people are over patriotic. Lands are bought, traded, countries change their names, their governments, their geography. No country is permanent or tangible. Like Alaska was bought by US from Russia.

What's your take ?

A nation is a made-up concept, usually made along the linguistic lines.  It is obvious to people who are fluent in more than one language.

Of course, your family is more important than your 'country'.

Countries come and go, your bloodlines stay.

755  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do Black lives matter or Do all lives matter? on: June 10, 2020, 11:29:21 AM
whats your oppinion?

Of course all lives matter.

"Black Lives Matter" is a racist, supremacist movement.

The "Black Power" salute is equivalent to the "Heil Hitler" salute.

Both salutes are racist as fuck.

Indeed, we live in 1984.
756  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How would you convince an atheist thief that stealing is wrong? on: June 06, 2020, 03:52:19 AM
I am an agnostic but more towards atheism.

I was arguing with my religious friend and he said that it's impossible to lead a life without God's laws and set morals. And he asked me this question that how would I convince an atheist thief that stealing is wrong.

The thief is so smart and has made millions. Police, courts, judges are in his pocket. He can't get arrested. No harm to him. So he can't see why it's wrong for him to steal?

The best answer I could have thought of was "maybe someone will steal from the thief himself and that way the thief would consider stealing wrong". But he refuted saying the thief has bigly paid bodyguards and security so he's rich enough to not get robbed himself.

What's your take on this, share opinions Cheesy
You basically described the ruling elite. But still members of the ruling elite believe in existence of God. No problem for these thieves.

And what if God commands to kill non-believers? What if God asks to give golden hemorrhoids as a sacrifice? Both of these things happened in past and more.

God doesn't command this. But if you really believe that He does, you better obey Him.

Btw, if you think the Christian God and the Muslim God are the same God, you are missing it.

Cool

How many Gods are there?

Okay I went to religious school from K to 8 th grade.  Due to my life circumstances I decided to not follow my religious upbringing.  I am mostly of the mindset I am a stupid idiotic moron when it comes to true religion so I let it be. When I die I will find out what's up.

That said I watched Elon Musk's Space shot yesterday.  I can say without a doubt and 100% certainty that part of it was faked.

lift off is at 4:23:36

I would sign any petition to allocate funds to teach everyone how to interact with police.

Especially Black people need this form of education; hands up compliance; shut the fuck up, answer questions, don't talk back, don't touch them, don't resist, show them your empty hands.

And for Christ's sake be polite to police officers, they have guns, you dumb nut.

Black community leaders need to spend time in their communities to organize and teach their youngsters and adults alike how to comply
with orders given by the police.  If nothing will be done, we'll see more 'wrongful' deaths.

Stop hiding behind the racism facade.

What happened to GF is tragic, but he could have avoided it if he did not struggle in the car and got out on the other side.

You are handcuffed, they put you in the car, and you think about escaping with swarms of cops around you?  I think this guy was an imbecile or high, there is no other explanation.
760  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Trump Designates Antifa "A Terrorist Organization"' on: June 03, 2020, 04:19:42 PM
Socialism and communism should be banned and any followers should be imprisoned and re-educated.

I don't know if you were trying to be funny but that's what authoritarian regimes - often communist regimes - do with dissidents. It never really ends well in the long term.

It was done in the US in the past, see the "Third Enforcement Act".

But in the current political environment, it might be impossible as the House is full of ANTIFA sympathizers.

As for ANTIFA, they commit criminal acts and can be detained and charged for those, never mind their crazy, utopian ideology.

The ideology they profess will lead to economic genocide and will affect ALL Americans.
