321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin implied volatility below 40 for the first time: Sign for a bull run? on: August 15, 2023, 06:18:37 PM
Of course we hope the bull run comes soon, I would like to see this year close at least $60k so that makes a good start for the bull run which will be in 2024 when the halving day happens, when prices are as cheap as they are now then a good opportunity to buy.

Whatever the current price is certainly a good opportunity to buy. We are still half the price for the last ATH and a chance to collect bitcoins before the halving is reached. Hopefully near or after the halving we will enter into the bull run market that everyone has been waiting for. Those who start entering will have a great opportunity to benefit than those who just delay entering without doing anything. Year-end price target might be him over $40k and that's still pretty reasonable, we're still seeing bitcoin in the $29k-$3k price area today but that's about to jump high soon, looking forward to the best for bitcoin.
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market Price in Respect of News on: August 14, 2023, 05:30:56 PM
If we pay attention to the current market conditions, it certainly makes us have to be patient, leaving bitcoin for a moment and doing other activities such as camp or to the beach is a thing that can make us not too dizzy with the current price conditions, it is natural that many predictions that the increase will begin end of the year or still about 3 months.
Hmmm - even you don't have to go anywhere if you are a long term investor. You only need to do the routine as usual while continuing to ensure the security of your storage wallet remains safe. I don't think long term investors in bitcoin should be concerned about market conditions all the time - of course that's not good for your mental and psychological health.

You know - long term investors tend to expect passive income on the assets they invest. Let the market work as it should - you just have to be patient and wait for the best time to take profits. After all you can set a selling price for your asset if you actually hold it on an exchange [not recommended], but for safety advice - you should just store it in a non-custodial wallet while waiting for the price to settle with you.

Long-term investors certainly have to enjoy their lives, enjoy every activity. No need to think about how the market moves. What needs to be considered is the security of their wallet and If you have a backup plan in case of a market crash, it's a good idea to make a buy back or do a DCA if that's necessary. The price target has been determined and we are just waiting for the price to rise to reach the target price. Long-term investing provides good mental health, less involvement with market charts that stress some people out.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: August 14, 2023, 04:20:55 PM
it's not wrong if someone wants to get rich quick, but this needs to be understood. We don't need to rush into making decisions. things like this make the risk in our investments increase.
Also, don't get attracted to coins that have fast growth, however, in-depth research and forward analysis is an important point. we can invest in a coin whose price has increased by 100%, but we don't know why the price of the coin has increased, and what will happen in the future. people sometimes think it's going to happen again, and think they're going to be rich in no time, and end up rushing into investing.
Wanting to get rich quick is everyone's wish, however, I think this needs to be based on in-depth knowledge, analysis and research.

The psychology of many investors, unfortunately, is organized in a similar way. They consider it futile to buy a coin that no one is talking about. At the same time, they are happy to immediately buy the coin that everyone in the crypto community is talking about. Only problem is, when everyone and everywhere is talking about a coin, it's a sure signal to sell your coins rather than buy them. A truly great investment is to buy when there is no hype yet, but without specialized knowledge and insider knowledge it is extremely difficult to get such signals.

Most people are just too FOMO because of the hype of some coins that a bunch of people keep talking about. In fact, they are willing to enter at a high price in the hope that it will hit another high, but that is the end and time to get out and enjoy the profits. New people starting in because of the Hype want to try to make quick profits. Unspoken or unspoken coins are the best opportunity to enter, but it is quite difficult to find them, but not impossible. Altcoins that are already popular and are priced quite cheap can be an option. Like the DOGE hype that hasn't appeared yet, it could be that when Elon tweets about DOGE it will become hype and prices will continue to rise. It takes good research and observation to shoot one good altcoin that then gets hype.
324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What should we see bitcoin as? on: August 13, 2023, 11:37:55 PM
choosing the safe option of making bitcoin a long term Investment Plan will be of benefit to beginners who don't know how to trade or to those who don't want to think too complicated. It is enough to make an investment plan in bitcoin, buy gradually and wait for a high price to sell it. To become the main source of income, you need qualified trade knowledge. The main income is active income and there will be a profit every time you trade.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 13, 2023, 11:16:19 PM
It was definitely a decent game, I feel like it has to be something like this all game long every game if you ask me. I get that it is going to be tough without a striker, but sometimes they will play like this and even with Benzema or Mbappe they will still have their good midfielders score. Looks like they played alright, obviously a team much lower level than them but at the end of the day they still got the win.

Hopefully they will do well enough in the future and keep playing like this. Ancelotti has a tough job, won the league and UCL a year prior, lost both last season, and now has no striker this season. All those looks like they are getting worse, if he can turn the ship around, that would be a good thing for them.
They have done a very decent job by beating  Athletico Bilbao in their opening match. I thought they weren't going to win that match because when I saw they gave them 2.18 odds,I was even scared of adding them to my ticket, but they won with the odd,and this winning has so many points to prove. They proved that they could still win games without their main striker who just left to another team. They also proved that they don't really need a striker to rely on in the team anymore, atleast every body is capable of winning games, and I would say that if Ancelotti keeps on building that pattern and giving them that mentality that any player in the team can score,it will really be good for the team because they will win games without hoping on any particular player on the field to score, everybody will be placed with the responsibility to score goals.

Real Madrid had a good performance and they won the game against Athletico Bilbao with a 2-0 result but the sad thing for Real Madrid is this season is they were not lucky enough because their Brazilian defender Militão got injured na now according to the Medical reports on the news about this player, he maybe lost whole season because this player can't play for Real Madrid for months.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66491071

It was quite unfortunate when Militao had to take a long break due to an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury to his left leg during the first week of the Spanish League or LALIGA EA Sports against Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames Stadium. The Brazil international defender felt pain in his left leg in the 50th minute after chasing Athletic Bilbao's Ohian Sancet but had to fall due to a misplaced foothold. With it confirmed that the 25-year-old player has an ACL injury, Los Blancos are expected to lose Militao until the end of this season to undergo treatment.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2023, 08:38:50 PM
Mbappe has been reintegrated into the squad first of all. There was a really big tension between him and the team but it looks like he hasn't lost his place. I had big doubts after not seeing him against Lorient on the first week. However I'm not sure about whether he would like to bring it to a contract extension point.

He was very clear about his intention to leave at the end of his contract. What happened suddenly that could affect him that deeply to change his mind?

I hope he doesn't stay at PSG after all those things. I just want to see him starting off with a clean slate at Real Madrid as of next summer.  Smiley

They really have to since he has decided to stay with the club, there is no need forcing him.to sign for the club. Yesterday  they did poorly and needs him into the squad but should be prepared for Mbappe leaving.
I don't see him stay longer with PSG but he has to help the club since he is a very important player for them.
Neymar junior is a great player when fit, if the fans are unsatisfied with his work rate, he should leave the club for better challenges.

Mbappe still has a contract with PSG until 2024 and that could be the end of Mbappe's career at PSG. He still hasn't signed a contract extension and still has a chance to go to Real Madrid. yes, Mbappe's current task is only to help PSG to play well in the remaining matches, even though his desire to leave is unstoppable, there is still time for Mbappe to defend PSG. and about Neymar apparently also wanting to leave PSG and according to reports Neymar is being approached by Saudi Arabian Club Al Hilal.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 13, 2023, 07:38:10 PM

I respect a lot when it comes to religions, culture or something like that, because one cannot get so involved in these things, because for some it is so delicate that it can mean that later those people suffer making many sacrifices, and that is not the idea. , I have seen many things regarding religions, especially those people that I call fanatics, I have come across many of them in life, and they say a number of things when you tell them or talk about the casino, sports betting , a lady the other day told me that this was demonic, and I oh please but why do you say that? She told me that the devil likes those things that people do, and I told her, well, I don't see it that way, I didn't argue with her much because she was an older person, so sometimes these types of people make a lot of comments, they form gossip and only for that reason it can reach the ears of people who like to take what belongs to others (thieves) so only for that reason sometimes it is better to be silent.

People who are too fanatical about their religion are always like that, think negative things are too much, like you say that casinos are called devils or even places that will take players straight to hell. Even though they are not aware of their own mistakes, playing in gambling games that look normal, but they do it.
Finding people like this really has to stop arguing because we won't win with arguments that they always associate with religion.
I often encounter some fanatical people who don't even give a good solution and even keep cursing me when playing a gambling game.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: August 12, 2023, 11:17:04 PM
Well but to prevent all of that it seems very difficult indeed. I have a coworker and he is an active gambler and can also be said to be addicted, every time he tries to stop for example a week not gambling he says that it's like something is missing from his life, maybe he has brought gambling into a part of his life and he finds it difficult not to do that activity, or maybe it's because he has considered gambling as a regular income for him even though the reality is losing again. Like I said before that no one wants to be stuck there, I'm sure their normal mind knows about what's best for them but their lust has led them into the black spot of gambling so they are stuck and it's hard to go back. The only step that can be done is to utilize self-control, nothing more than that.
Although it is difficult but nothing is impossible if one has the determination to quit, don't think too much about the big win there but think about the big risk.
If someone wants to start quitting gambling, it's important to acknowledge that you have a problem and that you want to make a change. You may create a plan for how you'll quit. This might involve setting goals, finding support from friends and family, and seeking professional help if necessary. It's also important to avoid triggers that might tempt you to gamble, such as specific places or people.

I don't know how many times I have already said the phrase, "It is easier said than done," but that is a fact we cannot deny when giving someone a tip on how to quit gambling. But it is fine as long as they believe quitting gambling is a process and stumbling along the way is okay. The important thing is to keep trying and never give up on your goal of living a life free from the negative effects of too much gambling.
Yes, I agree with that that saying is easier than doing, and I have also said that theorizing is easier than practicing, and this is indeed what happens in the field. Indeed, for those of us who already know the formulation of the problem, we will be able to control it all, even if we do not completely stop gambling, but we know what limits we should not exceed. We set rules for ourselves.
For those who are already addicted, it will be more difficult. Quitting completely is obviously going to be difficult, and they can start by reducing the intensity of their gambling and the intensity of their gambling.
Once someone get addicted to anything, it's hard to come back from it. It is also difficult for those who are addicted in gambling and try to  come back from gambling. In case of drug addiction drugs are not easily removed from a drug addict, it is very difficult for those who become addicted to gambling to stay away from gambling. To succeed in gambling, an addict must understand things completely or else he will not be able to come out of this situation. It is very difficult for him to give up gambling.

Difficult or not it also depends on how they intend, if you really want to quit the addiction you have to have a strong desire to change. Must undergo some rehabilitation to make himself controlled and can stay away from gambling. this also requires support from the closest people so that addiction does not become something that is detrimental. Addiction will be dangerous for anyone. experiencing gambling addiction will result in dissatisfaction in every gambling bet, even they don't have a penny and finally commit crimes to be able to get money so they can gamble. Stopping or limiting gambling is a choice.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 12, 2023, 08:27:08 PM
There is little doubt that during our youth our friends have a massive amount of influence on what we do, if a few of them like a movie or a new TV series it is likely you will give it a shot and be more lenient when deciding whether you liked it or not, as your friends already stated their posture towards them, however I agree with you that even if our friends could influence us to start gambling, whether we develop problems or not when gambling has to do with factors exclusive to us and who we are and it has nothing to do with them.

Before we get mature,we blindly follow the friends words. One of the thing was some people get into gambling from their friends words.Later he get interested in the gambling then follow the gambling for the rest of his life.To me one of my friend fully teaching the gambling during my college days. Then I had started to gamble with the little amount,my first money was just 50$ as the deposit to the gambling website. But I am depositing ten times of 50 dollars as the minimum deposit to the trading now.

A friend who teaches you gambling will certainly not be wrong as long as he teaches you how to play and explains the advantages and disadvantages of gambling. But maybe it will be very rare. People who gamble only come to win, but in the end they keep losing. You start with $50 and that's big enough as a beginner, then you deposit 10 times the first deposit, it makes you FOMO on gambling and don't think about how to risk with too much money and no minimum limit.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ~If you must trade~ on: August 12, 2023, 06:12:44 PM
It has always been the "emotion" that has wrecked even the best of traders. Fear of loosing much and the greed of not wanting to take profit when supposed. Many traders have very perfect speculation of what the market is and the possible outcome but they prefer to violate their own rules by compromising when they see perfection has been achieved.

Violating the rules that have been made will certainly have consequences in the end. Those who are driven by emotion, are too greedy and do not have the readiness to tackle every problem when trading. People like that will never reach their peak, they will even tend to regret decisions that are not taken properly. They don't manage properly so trading will only give you losses and no increase whatsoever.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 12, 2023, 05:41:36 PM

Even just a friendly gamble when we are just young, we just copy it to others, and deep inside us, we really don't know what the meaning of that is, but again, there are really people or some people persuading others to gamble because they can get a cut when the person they invited deposits money. Also, religion is really not involved in it because some religions have banned it, and you're right, others still gamble, which means it is on them as they know that they violated their rules.

Every religion has guidelines and rules and each person only has to choose whether to follow those guidelines or not. This is a personal matter that cannot be a reason to ban someone. You just need to work on yourself and just warn him that excessive gambling will not lead to anything good.
People who invite to gamble always have the advantage of everyone who is invited and joins the casino. back to the topic discussed, secrecy for gambling is everyone's choice. If you are happy to be said to be a gambler then that is not a problem, but if you want to keep it a secret, then you have to take care not to let other people know about gambling activities.
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 11, 2023, 11:32:12 PM

I don't talk about it to anyone. Not because i would be shamed or it would be about religion or anything like that. I just find that it's private and thing i do that i enjoy, just for myself. It's my money and my business what i do with my spare time.

I wouldn't even know what to talk about it, because for me it's about relaxation, not tactics. And i doub't it would be relaxing to talk about it either.
Most likely the talk would consist people either judging me, warning me about something i know better then they. Or they would be out of their depth, or even more enthusiasts then i am.

Some people from the Muslim religion will not play the gambling because for their religious discipline. We should respect other religion for the mutual respect. But I had some friends from Muslim religion who was experienced gamblers. They say gambling doesn't affect  their religion,So everyone had their opinion about the gambling.I am a gambler since from my ten years and use to bet with my friends for the little thing and like this my gambling was begin.Gambling give me relaxation most of the time because of it's thrill output.

Those who are associated with gambling are no longer based on religion, they are individuals who choose to gamble with their own conscience. Not affected by religion. Even today, many hidden gambling is played by children to adults without knowing that the game is gambling. Gambling will not affect any religion, but will affect their own conditions. It's just that this is related to the morals and rules that exist in every religion, how gambling is seen as a negative thing.

enlighten us on bitcoin charts. If there is any thread explaining chart, please kindly drop their link.
Trading currencies or any other asset isn't any different  from trading bitcoin, but it would be wise to know what fundamentals affects BTC that can cause volatility for it.

To know how to read charts, you can make use of YouTube which has a vast library of this information,  good luck.

Fundamentals have an important role to see how the market trend will go. It will always be in sync with technical analysis. Fundamentals will greatly affect the crypto market, we'll see how the market is very volatile and sensitive to various FOMO or FUD news. You only need to be active on social media and see the latest news about crypto to understand what news is trending.
and to find out how to read charts on YouTube, there are lots of basic tutorials available for beginners and some tips on using indicators for technical analysis. But it's not easy to do, it takes some practice to see how the learner develops.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: August 11, 2023, 09:01:12 AM
At the moment the market condition is quite good. Although the market has gone down a lot, Bitcoin is now worth close to half of its peak price. But altcoin has not yet reached a good stage. However, investing in altcoins right now is a good thing to expect. Those who have invested towards the end of 2022 must wait longer as the market may take more time to reach that level.

Investing in good altcoins provided that the selected altcoin must be a top altcoin and has been trusted with ongoing developments. Don't just get into new altcoins or altcoins that haven't had any development. When the price of Bitcoin tends to be as stable as it is today and altcoins don't have any signs yet, then enter some Altcoins such as ETH, BNB which are quite good and don't forget Bitcoin to be the first. We'll see how the Boom will turn out when the Halving happens next year. Everyone is waiting for it and hoping that it will be a profitable moment for everyone who invests in crypto.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: August 11, 2023, 08:12:00 AM
Ready to invest $500 per month.
Advise on the best way to fix profits and what kind of cryptocurrency to buy. Now the markets have fallen - it's time to buy.
The assets you have right now are top coins, and this is a good investment. I'm sure you already have enough experience in cryptocurrencies, so you don't need to get into new altcoins or those that are usually just hype.
Investing in crypto is also a high-risk thing, and from what you've talked about, at least the dictionary already understands the bear market and some of the benefits if you can optimize this bearish era. If you want to invest $ 500 every month, in my opinion, it's not necessarily for a new coin. The diversification of the coins you have is good enough. Maybe you just need to increase the accumulated amount of each coin and add more to BTC. Of course, each choice will have its own pluses and minuses. But at least it won't be as risky as when you invest in hype new coins.

The new coin hype will only provide a new higher risk compared to the top coins that are already trusted. Having $500 every month is quite a large amount in my opinion, it can be a good investment by choosing a top coin like BTC which will be a must coin with a larger amount. other coin diversification maybe spread on the top altcoins under Bitcoin like Ethereum or use a little fund maybe 1% for new hype coins, Try to catch the knife and maybe get lucky.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 11, 2023, 05:29:19 AM
Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

Well, actually my first contact with gambling was with slots. The truth is that I was kind of hooked, because the first times I played I won a big prize, I don't remember exactly how much it was at that time but it was quite a lot of money for my young age. And as has been said many times, it's the fact that you win that gets you hooked. After that time, I had many sessions in which I lost everything I bet. Fortunately it was a temporary vice that didn't go any further and didn't bring me any more problems afterwards.
Because playing slot games is very easy, that's what causes many of us to get addicted to playing them again. I think I'm also addicted to playing slots when I play Gates of Olympus where I've watched several local streamers play it. They got a big win so it made me curious to try it. But it didn't go well because I lost some money.

Slot games really make people who are just playing become addicted. This game also makes me a little addicted and my eyes are always fixed on my smartphone. I only put a small amount of money on the slots because I know it's going to cost me whatever money is used. If you watch an influencer win a big prize in a slot game, believe me he has been paid by the gambling authorities to entice many people to play. Slots just depends on luck, some win big prizes but that is very rare.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: August 10, 2023, 05:25:52 PM
I never thought so, because it seems like it would be very difficult to cheat on a gambling platform. Ok well, maybe let's say you managed to cheat but I'm sure, it would be bad for your account too, right. Either that, for example, such as your account being frozen and or banned so that you cannot make withdrawals and so on. So yes, I personally never think about cheating because of course, there will be impacts that we will regret later. So yes, of course it would be better to play naturally, and not to cheat if it still involves with personal money.

yes cheating will only harm yourself. after all why do we have to cheat if we can play well and know what's being played. Like making a soccer bet, we will see which team is the most superior. Or when playing slots, we just need luck. Play the game reasonably and not too high to hope for a jackpot. Those who cheat will get punishment which will certainly be very detrimental.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 10, 2023, 04:55:19 PM

Yes, using gambling as fun, it will serve as a surprise and great gift when a big jackpot is won. so it is always better to use gambling as fun with small amounts. Because it is possible to get guaranteed fun in gambling but it is not possible to get guaranteed profit. Gambling with a fresh mind can lead to better gambling outcomes as a fresh mind will always help us a potential prediction . So gambling with a fresh mind will have more winning chances than gambling with panic or emotions

But in reality, gamblers who are too enthusiastic make gambling a place to make a lot of money, even though they don't know what the risks will be. The gambler who wants to get rich overnight places a lot of bets hoping to hit the jackpot, but in the end he loses all his money. this will be dangerous and become addictive. mindset like this will make gamblers always panic and get emotional. I stay away from that mindset and think of gambling more as entertainment.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 09, 2023, 04:57:51 PM
Excitement is what makes someone forget that he has to secure his profit upon winning those bets. And also being confident that he'll never lose on that day is what stops him from doing it too. Probably we're mentally strong when we're able to cash out and take the profit but I wouldn't say that those that didn't are mentally weak. But it's true that they need to control themselves and forget not that they're gambling for the money and just having fun is just next to it. No matter how hard we try to say that we're gambling for fun, when the profits are there you shouldn't neglect it and don't ruin the fun by losing more and forgetting that you need to take and cash out for a while before continuing.

The pleasure of gambling must also be based on good realism, if fun generates profits, why not. Just need to take advantage of it and continue the fun of gambling with a small amount of money left. That would be better than ignoring it. Sometimes a person forgets to limit how far the fun stops and doesn't take this good opportunity. Self-control was indeed very difficult, it would not be easy for someone who was too greedy and had no future plans.
340  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 09, 2023, 04:33:13 PM
In my case, I have not talked about any of my dices sessions to my family, it is because I rather find it to be irrelevant, since I have not turned gambling into a very strong habit I do everyday, I am rather a casual gambler and casual drinker.

Though, this thread and other posts I have written today have made me conspired to tell them about my casual activities, just for them to know I trust them and also so they can check on me when they believe there is something wrong happening to me.

I think most of gamblers experiment shame, I would bet there is an study about it somewhere on the internet.

Interesting thoughts Hispo.

You did right because, you know, prevention is better than cure. In my case I'm also a very casual gambler so, although my family knows that I play from time to time, I don't tell them every time since I also believe that it is irrelevant. But this is the first step to develop an addiction: underestimation.

So I might think about it twice and don't feel shy or ashamed when I do it, so maybe I should be even more transparent with them.

I believe that the shame starts when one losses an amount which would make our family upset about us and our gambling activities. For example, if I lost 1$ in dices, it would be irrelevant to my family and I could say to them easily about that loss. However, things change when the quantity increases and becomes hundreds or even thousands.

The person may feel like trying to chase the losses, so the family members won't even notice what happened, which eventually only leads to more potential loss.

The potential for greater losses is likely to occur, it will even make matters worse. When you've lost a few hundred dollars in gambling, that's a warning to stop for a moment and think about what you're going to do to make it back, not by topping up over and over and hoping to hit the jackpot. This will disrupt psychology, and will certainly have a negative impact on all sectors. Even problems like this do not only occur in gambling, but also in futures trading with high leverage.
