Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any One Who Gambles BTC For A Living?
|
on: November 23, 2015, 05:35:11 AM

Is there anyone out there that makes a living on buying, selling, trading BTC. When I say buying, selling, trading, I am talking about people who play faucets, gamble, trade services, or any other trading/activity with BTC. If you are out there, please enlighten us on what we can do to get the same results on our end.
I think there are a few of them out there who make a living of BTC. Those who owns a gambling site that accepts BTC and pays BTC is included here I guess. But juts like what others said, you can't live with just playing faucets, there has to be some other source of BTC income like campaigns, selling and trading digital goods in exchange for BTC.

Thinking about upgrading both lvl3 0,01BTC each. It make me feel bit confusing all the feedback readed here if it's a smart decision.
The idea that I invest in a cheap looking website involved with big money. why is nothing known about the people behind the website https: //ore-mine.org. With only a virtual name it's still hard to trust the whole situation.
If you can afford to invest 0.01 BTC and it's ok for you to lose that amount and can sleep at night like a baby then go ahead and invest. Like the saying goes, invest only what you can afford to lose

If i'm in your shoes, I'm going to keep it but I will not sell it or use it, I would rather ask the owner or claimant to prove ownership and I'll open a thread for that account that you have it on your possesion until someone claimed and prove ownership.

I would not go so far as to say it is not a Ponzi (or equivalent). The fact is, we do not know what it is. The admin can say all sorts of things.
The admin of Scrypt.cc was also very communicative and friendly. He told a lot of stories. It was not one of them true.
But, at the moment the site is running with no problems, that's right.
You must always bear in mind, the money must come from somewhere. And why should someone who supposedly runs an incredibly successful bot, simply divide its success? From pure charity? Cmon.
Maybe I'm just a burned child. But caution is always better than cure.
Here the same applies as with any other form of investment in Bitcoin. Do you use more money than you can allow you to lose, you're an idiot.
Be careful and clever.
scrypt.cc's earning opportunity is too good to be true, so with other cloud mining sites, I always ask my self if this site is for real, this could have been the answer to everyones problem.

Slowly but surely. WU was my first choice actually when sending payments to my friend in US for our Buy and Sell business, but nowadays we shifted to Bitcoins since it's more accessible for both parties.

The $300 barrier will be broken again.
Welcome to Bitcoin.
It will maybe but not this year, we are going close to $300 yes but if we look at how the rate goes down slowly then gain momentum again, January or February next year we may reach $300 floor price again.

Good news, guys! We done a lot of work and have more power now. So we are ready to accept some more new mines. Next time it will not be a surprise for you when all mines will be sold. We will show how much mines we have for sale. And maybe some more mines also will be able in 2016, January, but it is not exactly. Anyway, 2.32% interest rate will be available at least till summer 2016.
That's cool, when are they going to be available? Thanks. Soon, in one or two days. I thought new mines are now available so I checked and see if there is, but theres none as you just posted but we are willing to wait. I just harvested 5 ores today. Yeah!

if that so then you would have a hard time taking loans as most users here require atleast months old address to prove ownership over the account. goodluck anyway
@hex this is the oldest address he posted so far 1C4zGD23ZovuhD5heCSWkWrSvJg7Xt8231 quote please OP can you sign a message using that address? It's odd looking at you post history, not much posts made for an account that old.

Let the charitable institutions do those charity works, if anyone wan't to help, send it to those institutions since they know how it works, who to help and where to send. What forums like us can do is to promote those charitable institutions, it's much safer than creating our own fund raising with our forum name on it.
the 'charitable institutions' you speak of arent always as charitable as you think; there have been multiple instances of fraud with major charity organizations before, including one of the biggest ones, the red cross. http://www.naturalnews.com/047863_Red_Cross_charities_Superstorm_Sandy.htmlhttp://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/americas/haiti/article23061570.htmlhttps://www.rt.com/usa/201011-red-cross-sandy-scam/but wait, theres more! it doesnt stop at natural disasters, people take advantage of cancer too: http://www.wsj.com/articles/four-cancer-charities-accused-of-fraud-1432063345https://philanthropy.com/article/4-Cancer-Charities-Charged-in/230263id be willing to bet that there will be at least a handful of scam charities popping up around the internet and probably on this forum too; people will take advantage of any tragedy if there's some money involved. i dont see the harm in creating a small forum-based charity, as long as its backed by a reputable member and we know where the money is going; iirc there was a thread floating around somewhere that accepted donations to send food to less fortunate children or something, cant remember. as for this incident, if we could find a fairly reputable member of the forum residing in france that had an idea of how and where to spend the donations to aid the victims, we could get something going here. I agree with you on that even those known organizations can go wrong or scam people and unfortunately even the Government take for example is the recent typhoon Haiyan in Philippines, ever wonder why other Countries who helped did not even mind helping in form of monetary aid but instead they sent goods and send directly to the people in need? So better choose the ones and with good reputation. If you can help directly no one will stop that individual to help.

So this campaign did hire a campaign manager and Izanagi is playing that role and all he do is count and scrutinize posts and I believe Izanagi is doing a great job on that department, but whit that recent delay of payments, I think there should be a fund being held by an escrow to make sure participants are going to be paid on time in cases like campaign owner is very busy.
