261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallet without transaction fee on: October 16, 2017, 06:09:41 AM
While the answer to this question is a unanimous NO, it is possible for a no transaction fee wallet if the owner allows advertisers or sponsors in their site. However with the increasing amount of transaction fees lately, site owner may show a lot of sponsors every time you click a link inside their site to compensate for the zero  transaction fee.

Imagine just to send a payment, upon hitting Send BTC you get an ad, after entering the details like BTC address and amount and hit Send you get an ad, upon showing the summary of the transaction for you to confirm you get an ad and after showing the successful transaction you will be shown an ad.
262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: October 15, 2017, 04:48:03 AM
Depends on the situation, reason why Bitcoin is high nowadays because altcoin holders are converting to Bitcoin in anticipation of the Bitcoin Gold airdrop because they (including me) don't wan't to miss the train when airdrop happens and cash in when exchangers starts listing them and allow to sell.
263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hero and Legendary Accounts. on: October 15, 2017, 04:30:53 AM
Now, why do people sell Hero and Legendary accounts?
Account farmers sell Hero and Legendary accounts because among the ranks in this forum those are the ones with high value in-terms of payment in signature campaigns, if used as collateral in the Lending section and it somewhat creates an illusion that the user can be trusted because of his length of stay in this forum, bottom line its used in scamming.

How much do you make just on this forum with such accounts on signature campaigns ONLY?
Depends on the campaign, there are campaigns that pays a lot for Hero and Legendary rank but depends on the user if they are comfortable with the terms and conditions set by the campaign manager.
264  Economy / Services / Re: 🎮 ENJIN 🎮 Signature Campaign - BIG reward on: October 13, 2017, 03:46:28 PM
Hi Decoded I ranked up recently to Legendary. If there's still position available for Legendary I hope I can be added, but if none, i"m Ok to remain in Hero level. Cheers!

266  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: New to the Philippines (and unfortunately don't speak Tagalog :D ) on: October 13, 2017, 02:57:07 AM
Hello everyone and thanks for this amazing and resourceful forum.

I just got into the cryptocurrencies world a couple of weeks ago (and moved here a month ago) - I need to set up my wallet, which one would you recommend here in the Philippines? Will I be able to do that even if I don't have any proof of address yet? Thanks!
You can try Coins.ph but they would require you to provide them a screen shot or a photo of you holding a valid ID so that it will be upgraded to verified status.. If you have an ACR or Alien Certificate of Registration I guess that will do. I have friends who were able to open a bank account here in the Philippines using their ACR.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: October 13, 2017, 01:55:49 AM
Both have the characteristics of winning or earning profits based on luck and hard work too. One example is playing an online dice game, you can set your chance of winning from 0.01 to 99% chance of winning but your profits varies on the % of winning. You cant do this in trading, but you put your money on a coin that pumped for that day earn something before they stopped pumping the coin.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the safest way to protect you bitcoins? on: October 13, 2017, 01:23:39 AM
i have a question about the safest way to protect you bitcoins sure some will say use safe software wallets but what about hardware i want to buy one and i am still in bit of doubt i honestly thought about Ledger wallet what do you think about it?
1. Dont let anyone know that you have it. Your identity will be a starting point for them to know your email and password. Unfortunately there are still people around using their personal information like Birthday as password and their name as email add.
2. Don't post the BTC address where you put all your BTC.
3. Use 2FA if available.
4. Dont keep your passwords in any of your file in your PC.
5. Dont use public PC for transacting Bitcoin (Send or Receive).
6. Avoid using public Wifi when accessing your BTC wallet.
269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for the recent pump to over 5000 USD on: October 13, 2017, 01:12:42 AM
Hard fork starting October 25. Just like what happened last August Altcoins dropped, Bit coin went up and you get a reward of Bitcoin Cash for the amount of Bitcoin that you have in your wallet and the ratio is 1:1. Looks like a lot Altcoin holders learned from that so if you notice, Altcoins are down and a demand for BTC is up.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 12, 2017, 04:18:57 PM
It's not panic selling, they just dont want to miss the train again again and cash in on this Bitcoin Gold. This is like deja vu, when Bitcoin cash was introduced, price soared and those who did not receive BCC bought BCC even at price when it reached its peak, but look at BCC now? The only one who wins here are those whales who can manipulate the price of coins. Hodl if you have no need for cash or fiat.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin's price volatility affect your gambling habits? on: October 12, 2017, 04:11:06 PM
Yes because whenever I see the price of BTC climbing up the charts it encourages me to play dice games or bet on my favorite sports. Its like BTC price is reminding mo to play a few hours of dice and spend some Bitcoin hoping for a big returns. I even play dice and change the settings of % of chance in winning. I guess its not only me who likes to gamble when price of BTC is up.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10K on: October 12, 2017, 03:56:19 PM
How many actually think Bitcoin will practically reach $10,000 within the end of 2018? That would mean doubling an investment made today and that would be one HOT investment.

https://www.coindesk.com/billionaire-mike-novogratz-bitcoins-price-will-reach-10k-in-less-than-a-year/

We are now at $5,000 and there are events in this last quarter of the year that might increase the demand of Bitcoin like Thanksgiving on November 23, followed by Black Friday on November 24, Cyber Monday on November 27 and off course Christmas on December 25. Those dates are days when people buy gifts and to avoid rush and traffic, people go online to buy. Demand on those days may pump BTC price higher than what we see today.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 12, 2017, 03:49:32 PM
Unfortunately Bitcoin uniqueness paved the way to those with criminal mind to use Bitcoin in their activities, money laundering, scamming, selling knock offs on-line, any kind of criminal activity bitcoin can be used because one can use this and remain anonymous. When the Government starts to step in and regulate, this will not stop them from using it, they will just think of other ways.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: October 10, 2017, 03:06:25 PM
I check the price of Bitcoin whenever there is a chance so its not just everyday. I dont want to have a repeat of what happened a few weeks ago when China fake news started to go viral and the all altcoin charts look like someone made a mistake in hitting the Sell button and alts price went down. But you can always protect yourself from losing by placing a stop loss order so if there's a sudden change of price and dropped drastically, your coins will be sold based on your placed order.
275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: October 10, 2017, 03:01:35 PM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you but low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)
Depends on the situation, a 7-14 day lowest would be a good time to buy but try to check if its already over sold, check the reason why the price is dropping. if you plan to buy today because its the red days and price continue to drop, I suggest to wait for a little longer as hard fork is around the corner and price will continue to drop.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Acceleration of transaction on: October 10, 2017, 02:45:08 PM
I know those 2 sites to speed up your transactions

https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
http://confirmtx.com/
There's another one https://pushtx.btc.com/#/ but i haven't use this one is a paid service and non refundable. I tried and tested the  service of viabtc and problem is there's always a long queue and theres a limit. You need to resubmit until they finally accepted your request. Once accepted you will see in 15 minutes that there's already a confirmation on the tx id you submitted.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: October 09, 2017, 02:47:56 AM

This is what happen when BTC price goes up, only a few are in green and the rest is red, alts are down because holders wants to turn their Alts to BTC and take advantage of the opportunity to sell at high price. Its not panic selling yet, this will not last long once the weak hand of those alt holders come to their senses, they would realize that they should have hodl longer. There's no way but up for BTC.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the only real next thing is ADA? on: October 07, 2017, 04:35:03 AM
ADA was added only recently at Bittrex and its a usual market reaction to buy the new ones while its hot making the price shoot up and then market correction follows so the price that you are looking now maybe is the real price of ADA. If you buy at 600 to 700 price don't worry as it might hit the 700 to 800 soon, just wait for it. It might be in the lottery list of coins to be pumped by whales.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: October 07, 2017, 04:18:41 AM
Partly Yes its an educated guessing because before you hit the Buy button you have to ask yourself why are you buying the coin? Is the price low enough? Will it continue to go down? is this good for long term investment? Those can be answered by guessing but if its an educated guessing your answer will be backed with some facts like, Yes its good for long term because... Yes will continue to go down because...
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chart analysis on: October 07, 2017, 04:10:26 AM
Hello to everybody,

I have question about chart analysis. Are there any differences betwen chart analysis in traditional stock exchange and crypto exchange?  Considering that the crypto exchange is much more emotional in decision making? Can we use exactly the same analysis techniques or do we have to adjust them to our crypto reality? If yes, please give me some tips what I have to change that the analysis would be more accurate.

Its a plus if you know how to read charts from the traditional stock exchange but since crypto is more volatile or the price moves a lot quicker than the traditional ones. In traditional stock exchange positive news makes a big impact in the price of the stock while crypto, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Fake news makes a big impact though lol
