As of 2:00am GMT 07.07.2013 we have only 7 people registered to purchase 13 tickets (all paid). Registration is closed and we didn't get enough people interested in the event. Therefore, I announce that the raffle for BFL 500Ghs Mini rig is not going to start. Current participants are going to receive their funds back shortly.

не совсем про наши ASIC, но про BFL.
Если кто-то уже заказал чипы, то сейчас он может получить образцы. Нужно связаться с BFL об этом. Высылают по 2 чипа за каждые 100 чипов которые были заказаны.(Это образцы, когда пойдёт отправка чипов, вы получите все чипы, то есть эти 2 чипа за каждые 100 это бонусные чипы)
На сколько мне известно, образцы потом надо будет вернуть БФЛ, даже если они будут убиты в процессе производства плат. |

2000 биткоинов, это даже по текущему курсу $137080 или 4 553 797,60 рублей.... Хотя может и найдутся гемблеры... Я не думаю что это окупится для участников... Вы серьезно считаете что цель розыгрыша помочь заработать всем участникам акции? Победитель только один, это не продажа (на реддите много кто путает эти два понятия). |

Escrow would post a list of 2000 BTC adresses. You will give every ticket a btc address and customer can found them?

Well, that's what I'm doing at the moment - generating addresses and filling the list of participants. If we can find someone else, who can be trusted by the owner and all participants, and willing to do all the work, that's just great  . I already have a wallet with over 1k addresses, but imho there is no need to generate 2k of them, unless people would want to resell tickets. This raffle was not intended for such things. EDIT: I value trust of 100k+ people of this community for more than 2000btc, which I would like to earn by participating in this event, but if its an obstacle for the event itself, I'm happy to give away my role. If you used an escrow I guarantee you'd sell a lot more tickets. Ok, Gigavps will be asked to hold all coins. Meanwhile, I'll handle the registration process. If he agrees to be an escrow, collection address will be posted here. |

What is your trust history? Do you have references that will back you up on this forum? This raffle will be supported by some well known bitcoin community members, they do have access to the data center where the rig is hosted. They will post sometime today. |

Also, I can give scans of my passport (my home address) to any credible community member to hold on to, if people get worried that I might run with bitcoins before we start the raffle. If number of participants decide to increase the odds of winning by grouping together and then sharing the mini rig, its solely their responsibility to fulfil the mutual agreement. This is the Butterfly Labs Bitforce Mini Rig SC 500Gh/s raffle! There is going to be a 2000 tickets available for 1btc each. The registration for the raffle will take place here. and will be closed at 02:00 GMT SUNDAY 07.JUL.2013. The winner will have an option to keep the rig hosted at the current place or pick it up locally. The actual hash rate of the mini rig is not 500Ghs, but 480Ghs. That's because there are 8 boards inside, 60Ghs each. HOW TO PARTICIPATE 1. Announce in this thread, how many tickets you will be buying 2. Send a private message to me with the same information 3. We will send you a unique bitcoin address to pay the tickets 4. After we get the bitcoins we will add you to the public list of paid tickets 5. When the list reaches 2000 paid tickets, we will announce the block ( it will be around 4 hours away ) Rules of the contest: The odds of winning this raffle is 1 / 2000 (total number of tickets sold) for each ticket. The raffle will start only if there is at least 2000 tickets registered and only after all 2000 tickets are sold. This raffle will end on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11pm GMT. If all 2000 tickets are not sold by that time, all bitcoins received will be returned to participants. You may purchase as many tickets as you like. Whether buying a single ticket or bulk tickets, each ticket will have its own ticket number. The only piece of information you need to submit is your email address and your forum nickname. Пришли два августовских халоперца с апгрейдом до 7 ГХ.
Апгрейдил специально с надеждой, что для этого отбор бабко-чипов будет получше. Вроде оправдалась надежда.
Посылка шла 20 (!!!) дней. Рекорд для всех моих прошлых покупок. Не ожидал!
За время пути посылка "потяжелела" на 128 грамм. О чём и был составлен акт в столице нашей почты.
Не обошлось без мелких косячков. При первом включении один из перцев сделал "вжжжЖЖЖ!" своим вентилятором. Так что вопрос о разборке отпал сам собой.
Разбирать надо однозначно! Без корпуса охлаждение гораздо лучше. Температура упала с ~55*С до ~40*C. По сравнению с ~80*С на Радеоне 6990 это просто сказочно ))
Термопрокладку пока не менял. Жидкий метал точно не буду заливать, но что-нибудь типа МХ-4 постараюсь намазать. Потом...
Реальная стабильная скорость около 7,6 ГХ/с, что в сумме на пару даёт приятные 15+ ГХ/с.
Потребляемая мощность вместе с блоком питания у более горячего асика 14,5 Ватт в простое и 38 Ватт под нагрузкой. Апгрейд безследно не прошёл...
Чуть позже переключусь на питание непосредственно от системного блока ПК.
Осталось дождаться одного сентябрьского литтл сингла. Скорей уж бы...
И, наконец, самое грустное в этой истории. После запуска асиков заглянул на биржу и прослезился от курса <90у.е. за монетку )))
Мои поздравления =). Баттерфляйцы не советуют менять термоинтерфейс, т.к. он более надежный в плане срока службы и термопередача тоже на высоте. Там единственное что может быть косяк со сборкой. На счет курса - имхо асикмайнер сливают, да и все кто вложился только ради прибыли в фиате, но думаю спрос должен скоро подняться - инфраструктура развивается ударными темпами =)) |

В том что 4.5 Гх за 7 никак не проканает ... Т.е. изнчально заявленные 5 я по любому получу (а вероятнее даже 6 вплоть до 7).
Если что, в Халопеньях чипы идут в разнобой по количеству исправных ядер, так что кому как повезет. Имхо, они ставили чипы А класса в Халопеньи, потому что тогда это был единственный продукт, платы для которого были готовы, и надо было быстрее отправлять. А сейчас они начнут сортировать, и ставить в Халопеньи частично неисправные, т.к. заявленная скорость будет позволять. |
