Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Why Newbies should stay away from Faucets

Looking at some of the faucet earnings posted here... I can only suggest your using the wrong strategy.
It is possible to earn a few dollars a week from faucets - I've done it and then seen that bitcoin go up in value quite dramatically. Also, you need to consider referrals as well which can greatly increase your earnings potential.
It's fair that faucets only pay tiny amounts but why should they be banned as one poster suggested? A) It's completely optional as to whether you visit them or not and B) It's free money!
You can watch TV and earn while learning about cryptocurrency for no outlay or risk whatsoever. I don't see any problem with this.
Totally agree. Faucets are not worthless. Specially when there is no other job you can do.

it is likely that it stays up. But it is also likely that the big price is because of the upcoming fork. Both forks before this one have been profitable for bitcoin holders, so more holders are coming in and people are selling their alts to get more BTC with the forked btc for free too.
A price like this should stand 1 month after the november fork to be really established IMO

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Warren Buffett Gets Wrong About Bitcoin

Warren Buffet is known for investing in value. Companies that sell things that are valuable. He would not invest in a currency, because currencies get their value from goods they represent and do not have a value in itself. Bitcoin is a currency itself.

Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: "Clean" faucets

There aren't so many clean faucets. Mostly of faucets are filled with popups, url shorteners, hidden coinhive miner and etc. And if faucet is clean, they are paying lower rewards, because they get less revenue from advertisemnts that they are using. I selected several clean faucets, you can try it: Vipfaucet.ga, Btcsmile.com, Starbits.io, Forumcoin.win/btc, Xfaucet.net, Konstantinova.net, Fautsy.com, Coinue.com/faucet. You also can check my Faucethub faucet list, maybe you will find some more good faucets;) : https://bitcoins4free.altervista.org/faucethub/Thanks a lot bro! that is just what I meant.

Well yeah, that fits my description. But I am looking for something yet faster and "cleaner". Just a page, an address box and a captcha or link to click and get the satoshis without further addition. In your sites you have to fill the address and captcha, click, then wait a counter for the intersitial, fill it and click again. Is double work of what I am expecting.
Thanks anyway
Address is auto-filled after you've claimed once. No scrolling down the page as long as you have a stationary computer screen of common size. I have NO captcha, just click the button and go... If that's too much work, I wish you good luck in your search. No, it's not too much work. It's too much time. Compare yours with this: http://www.adbannerrotator.com/btc-faucet/ or this: http://www.admoneytrix.com/faucet/You can complete a claim on those faucets 2-3 times faster than in yours (autofill address, type captcha and enter...4-5 seconds at most). And I am not saying that yours is bad (in fact, it pays higher and would be better for some people), it is just that this is not what I am looking for. In fact I appreciate that you answered. I only clarified what I am looking for just in case someone comes in and posted more faucets like the ones you provided... And yes, the search is very hard (lol) that is why I post this. I've already searched a lot, and could not find any Cheers.

Could anyone provide a list of "clean" faucets? I mean, faucets that are not too loaded with popups, jumping to different pages when you click on the address box of the form, without antibot-links etc. Just to illustrate... faucets like adbtc [ref link if you like to use it] (would love to have two or three like that one) or admonetrix. Just a click or a captcha and get the satoshies, not a login, plus a click plus closing 2 popups, plus another click, plus filling a captcha. I do not mind if they do not pay too much, just that they are easy to fill. thanks. You can pick any one of my faucets and they fit the description. They have 1 popunder,1 interstital link, 0 captcha and 0 anti-bot links. KemaBCH | KemaBLK | KemaBTC | KemaDASH | KemaDOGE | KemaETH | KemaLTC | KemaPPC | KemaXPMhttp://kemafaucet.comWell yeah, that fits my description. If a governmet really wanted to control Bitcoin, I think there is a way to do it: by buying lots of it gradually. Being a Bitcoin whale I feel offers lots of control, and is not that hard if you have lots of money (although it is becoming harder at current prices)

I do not think it will happen. But I think that it might at least double the actual price, and in that case is wise to buy now even if you "only" multiply your investment by 2

Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble or Not?
|
on: October 28, 2017, 02:01:10 PM
|
It might be a bubble if we see it from the point of view that is not backed by real value. People are putting too much money in something that is not real appart from the internet...
HOWEVER we can look at it from a different point of view. Money is just money because people agree that it represents value. Same with Bitcoin. Where does Bitcoin value come from? from more and more people trusting in it as money or as a thing that stores value. As more and more people enter Bitcoin, more and more people are agreeing in putting value in it, until it replaces a lot of the trust and value that fiat money has now.
If we see it that way, its value is not comming from nothing (as it happens with bubbles) it comes from replacing the value that people formerly put in fiat (i.e I once have 6000 $ and now I prefer to have 1 BTC)

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to get started?

I started by starting to do small tradings with altcoins (ltc/doge pairs and such). This makes you understand a lot of things that are useful for trading greater ammounts, like the way to put orders, how much profit is lost in fees... when people are dumping or pumping or when a coin is cheap or not.
