22  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: I would like to use bitcoin to aqquire SEK in Stockholm on 15.3 on: March 11, 2014, 02:26:14 PM
The only bitcoin ATM that i heard about in Sweden is on the Hilton hotel in Stockholm so that one is in a more cetral part of Stockholm if you come with the boat up in Värta harbour. That bitcoin ATM also only does it the other way as far as i know, SEK->BTC and there's also some sort of verification needed to be allowed to buy bitcoins there.

DeaDTerra https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=40976 on the forum sold bitcoins locally in Stockholm before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=106217.0 , not sure if he still does it ?

Thank you for the info(s), but sadly both are working the wrong way for my forex needs, oh well I guess I'll just do it the old fashioned way unless no one takes my offer up.
23  Local / Skandinavisk / I would like to use bitcoin to aqquire SEK in Stockholm on 15.3 on: March 09, 2014, 07:42:54 AM
Like the topic says, Im looking to do the bitcoin to forex thing. I'd like to sell some bitcoin for SEK on the morning of 15.3, preferrably I'd like to do the trade in Värtan harbor or as close as possible, so I do not unnecessarily hold up the rest of my traveling party. Asfar as I know I will be in the harbour at 9:30 am.

Im looking to sell 1-3 btc, willing to pay a premium above bitstamp spot price, if someone would like to meet me at the harbour for the trade. I would prefer to be able to go on with my day after one confirmation, but this is up for discussion. It would propably be easyest to agree on a SEK amount I will purchase and figure out the amount of btc I'll pay on spot.

If theres a bitcoin atm that does btc->sek anywhere near Im also keen on hearing about it.

Anyone willing to take me up on my offer, please pm me so we can iron out the details.

Ps.
Anyone considering any nefarious action be it scamming or a robbery, do your self a favor and move along, I prettymuch know every trick in the book... or bring a fucking army Smiley

I can also deliver goods from btctrinkets.com with me should the trading partner want something off my inventory.

I have added some new products to my selection, bitcoin themed temporary tattoos this time. Ten of the total seventeen variables are up on my site and the rest will be added soonist (tm). Getting good pictures of these is hard and will propably take nearly forever before I have a decent picture up of each one applied. Atleast now Im no longer taking selfies with a mirror and a tablet Smiley
I do also realize that I should get a female model for these, pursuation has begun but no progress to report so far Smiley

You can view the products up so far at http://btctrinkets.com/presta2/index.php?id_category=13&controller=category
Basicly the ten up so far represent each desing and the followin ones will be variations on sizes.

The tattoos ship in stacks of five, this is because you will almost certainly screw up the first one you apply... I usually do and because of their low value selling single ones would only benefit the postal services. I may change this in the future based on feedback.

Application instructions (check for updates, Im hoping to refine this so the success rate rises above the ~90-95% Im currently seeing) :

Please note that the image of the unapplied product has been flipped.

Application instructions:
Peel off the the protective film (clear plastic).
Moist the backside of the tattoo (white paper), without touching any part of the tattoo on the other side under a faucet.
Apply tattoo to desired place, apply gentle pressure and wait for 5-15 seconds, peel off the back paper.

I would like to publicly state that e4btc is not a scam. They may be incompetent, understaffed and other things. But in my limited experience they are honest.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Decentralization Fund - now launching on: January 11, 2014, 08:24:46 AM
I'd like to suggest adding a small subgoal:
P2pool compatible mining software for bitfury asics. I dont know how large a portion of the network bitfury-based devices make up. But I'd like to argue that as they still are the best available hardware to date, that is is a large %. Not having the option of mining on p2pool on them is a huge threshold. I myself have mined on p2pool on three generations of hardware, but have been unable to accomplish this on bitfury H-cards.

35  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Undervolting 6990 on: December 28, 2013, 08:14:24 AM
I have a 6990 and it i as a biatch to keep cool.  I have underclocked the core and lowered the intensity a lot just to keep this thing from frying.  What is safe and what is common practice for undervolting this card.  Thanks.
If I remember correctly the only way to do this is to hack the bios. I had one years ago, luckily it had the dual bios switch, because I never got the bios I chopped together to work. The post that lead me to try is still somewhere on these forums, wish the search function was better. The search term "6990 bios" seems to bring up some relevant posts, gl.

Please be informed that we have an urgent Power Maintenance in our Datacenter Network.
I read all your posts. The next days I will fix the mentioned bugs and make the Bitmit listings more cleaner by canceling the items from sellers who were not on the site for about 4 weeks.

Wait. What ?

Was bitmit sold afterall ?

My anually occuring, favorite christmas news story seems to fit here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o88tDmF7cEk

It's the Gävle goat burning (yet again). My all time favorite is 2005 when a single burning arrow shot from the treeline torched it, cant seem to find a video of it.
