563  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What does it need for a Online Pokerroom? on: June 15, 2017, 02:53:04 AM

Hey,

i just want to mind mapping what i need to create, open and promote an own online pokerroom for cryptoc.
What does it need from beginning to the end? What can help to rise a project like this and what partners or people i need?

I played over 10 years profitable online poker on different plattforms and live. I just think about open a new concept, or even a better in my eys.

What costs would it have to rise up a online room - ?

Give me everything you know about or think about!

Thanks!

First of all, what is your background and how will you contribute to the project? I'm assuming you don't have tech background, so first off partner you'll definitely need someone who can be your CTO , and also someone who will be your Security guy (CSO).

I think developing something basic could easily cost US$50-100k if completely outsourced.

However, I think you should consider that you have plenty of competition already as a poker site (even if you think the USP is bitcoin payments - there's also plenty of btc only poker rooms), so one thing you should think hard about is how to DIFFERENTIATE yourself from competitors and what your UNIQUE SELLING POINTS are.

Just my two satoshi worth. Hope it helps!

P.S. If you think you'd like to collaborate on this , PM me and we could work smth out.

Possible to crowdfound it with token or something like that?
Sure the costs for this project are extrem - but my concept also aims in a different and more player near way, im sure i can find enoght investors even cause im knowing enoght people for that.

My problem is i cant handle all alone, at least i do not really know what and how many partners i need for a team.

Dogecoin has a history, it's growing from a joke to a brand and brand are always been interresting for people.
Why not, is has proofed his value in the past. Usefully for microtransactions and tipping.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed Altcoin possible? BitCredit on: June 14, 2017, 10:42:32 AM
I would start this with the right team. The world is waiting for the killer currency. This should be created for fiat like using for everybody. With BTC as backed currency, there will be more focus on this and the handling.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin backed Altcoin possible? BitCredit on: June 14, 2017, 05:46:16 AM

I wonder why the the problem with transaction costs and waiting time is still a part - why not make a crypto backed with BTC and made for what all we need to bring it to the word currency?
What would be the problems about a BTC backed currency? I mean if you see it in real life everybody wants a gold backed fiat and dont want to pay the meal with a gold nugget.

I really believe this would be a good way to solve the problem. Call it BitCredit - make it 1 sat = 1 Credit.

What you think?  Wink

As of today I was "back-refed" my share. Exactly like the OP said.
This is working, automatic system is sending bitcoins back to your account Smiley
Let's just hope that lockept93 won't change his mind in the future.
Thanks for providing this small service and wish you a lot of referrals.

Thx for review. As i said i would believe that the users wouldn't use this anymore, if i would "change my mind" - so for me it wouldn't be worth.
Additional to that fact, i even have no problem to vouch with my FB-Page (Signature) - there is a lot of work in it and if i run away feel free to shitstorm it down  Smiley

569  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Upgrade Mobile-Mining? on: June 13, 2017, 02:16:31 AM
A friend of me and i were discuss about using free charge and internet with an mobile phone which is upgraded with an extern hardware for mining possible altcoins via a service like minergate.
This thread is just the question, is it possible to build a ming mobile phone - or better to say, a portable miner.
570  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Upgrade Mobile-Mining? on: June 12, 2017, 07:04:27 AM

Is it possible to upgrade the Hashrate from a Smartphone? How could this work?

I don't quite get your question here...
Are you asking about mining on your mobile (short answer: VERY, very bad idear).
OR
Are you asking about controlling your farm from your mobile phone (this depends on your specific setup, IMHO, more info is needed)
OR
Are you asking about buying cloud mining hashrate (short answer: bad idear)
OR
Are you asking something else?

I asking about mining on mobile phone with services like Minergate.
This is not about good or bad idea, i just ask are the possibilities?
A technical question, not investment.  Smiley

576  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DNA-Credit - Thinkabout on: June 10, 2017, 06:05:11 AM
So what really is the purpose of this? I would say that making coins base on DNA can made also without DNA like what we have now that is we don't need to get something on us or anything since it would be complicated and no new thing to add on. If compared to what we have and this DNA thingy, I would picked what we have now because it is less hassle and convenient.

Unless it has a very good edge like security perhaps? Or identity in your DNA coin? But what if you transfer the money does your DNA coin be altered to become the DNA coin of the other? You need a lot of money to study this project really and how to make it happen. For now, it doesn't makes sense but maybe a study would uncover a new technology like DNA coin you said.

The DNA would be required for the creation of a new single coin. There is a match up with an database and so it's possible to connect the growing amount with the time and Earth popolation. Also would bring it a value game between updating database and the costs and the amount of people doing this.
For example: If it would cost 10$ to connect a DNA with the Blockchain and create a new coin - nobody would do this if it have a value of 5$, but everybody if it 15$ worth. Simple saying.

Sure it would need a good dev team. But i think the connection to the human and the semi-limeted aspect let it be a imo likely idea. Sure for now not more.
