for some reason I cannot connect to the ShadowCash network using the Cold Wallet for Windows. It says 0 active connections and the refresh symbol keeps looping saying that the wallet is syncing. I feel nub...Lol I tried it both with & without the bootstrap.dat...still same results. Would like to get my Cold Wallet up soon so I can stake...Then some BTC will be flowing in. =D
Thx 4 the help!~
I had some sync issues a couple weeks ago, it seemed there was a small fork issue, which then caused the sync problem. To fix it, someone told me to go to the wallet and click help, then click debug window, then select the console tab and type "rewindchain 249000", then press enter. Then wait a while. I guess this rolls back the blockchain and then re-syncs it. This worked for me and others, so maybe try that. this is the error i received Block number out of range. (code -1) did you try getting rid of peers.dat?

Couple questions:
3. Why are the Shadows in the Chain Data only using 1, 3, 4 & 5 (ie: 100, 300, 400, 500, .01, .03, .04, .05, etc)?
Hi Litebit, 3a.

I think CryptoDouble was one of the more interesting things to happen to Bitcoin in the past 12 months. It demonstrated a sweet spot in terms of return and payback time where people were willing, in large numbers, to play a Ponzi for entertainment. Note that almost all of the copycat sites that have sprung up spin it as a game, and openly announce that earlier investors are paid out of the funds from later ones.
Saving this for prosperity. I can't believe it. Which part is unclear? It's clear. Crystal clear.

After 24 hours of digging and bribing I found the owner and sent him a nice little message, 24 hours to respond or I help make him famous which will in turn make him the most wanted man.
Normally with scams they try to hide pretty hard but him lmfao he used a real payment processor with his real information!!!!
And for you skeptics thinking of its a fake person, he is bragging about creating the site on his own fb lmfao
Well 24 Hour Countdown Begins, don't worry everyone. I have some friends that are reporters in 3 different countries that would LOVE to run with this seeing as how much money he got away with!!
Man, you guys are gullible here. No lessons learned from the obvious ponzi. Don't be so quick to believe a 4 day old account.

I am curious about this. I think we can assume the dev team owns MUCH more than 60,000 SDC. Is there a reason why they have not converted more to Shadow themselves? Perhaps they feel like staking SDC to protect the network is more important than converting right now?
Can someone shed some more light on this? Thanks!
I'm not part of the development team, but I know the reason why I haven't converted more Shadow for myself: lack of commerce opportunities. I assume this is the case for many holders. It's great seeing the amount of Shadow available grow but I'm assuming until the marketplace is ready, places like shapeshift.io accept it and shop owners accept it the amount will stay low compared with SDC. The majority of transactions are either OTC trades or transfers between exchanges and traders atm (my guess).

Ok thanks, that's awesome! Does Shadow/SDC work in the same way as Mastercoin/Bitcoin? I mean, are they linked in a similar way?
Yes Shadow is effectively a token on the SDC blockchain (like Mastercoin/Bitcoin) but there are intermediary processes that make Shadow anon. For example and there are many. Changing Mastercoin for Btc does not create a new Bitcoin. Whereas, swapping Shadow for SDC does create a new Shadowcash. If someone has some free time it would be great if they could make a professional quality YouTube video explaining the SDC/Shadow relationship (that we can use for marketing purposes). Use a conversion in each direction and demonstrate what it looks like on the blockchain. I would do it myself but I am already busy with other SDC related projects I believe these exist on this thread somewhere. Edit: VVV
