It is safe haven from inflation and fees for me. It is also digital money of the digital world. And I also think Bitcoin is really helping regular people hiding their wealth from banks.
to me bitcoin is in fact my side business. bitcoin is really too much important for me and for me bitcoin is really paly an important part in my life and i will like to use bitcoin for trading as so many other thing for a long long time, and i am sure that bitcoin will continnue giving me profit for a long long time. |

I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.
Let the altcoin you buy it, you dont have to worry about price down. As long as you are convinced of the altcoin's characteristics, you will surely benefit even though not today. Just buy it and don't worry, because that price will rise up again and then you leave it so you do not panic if see the price that may will come down again. After a few days I'm sure it will rise again and will surpass the value when you buy it. I believe most of the people will not get panic but they will become too greedy to book profits before achieving some big profits by simply holding bitcoins. I must be one of them facing such problems with my holding bitcoins. Usually I do not get panic when bitcoin prices are falling down but when bitcoin prices are moving up and I will calculate how much profits I'm getting and I start booking profits before price will fall down. This way I have missed many big profit opportunities. in my opinion,altcoin dump is best opportunity for any trader to ivest in potential altcoin as soon as bitcoin price hype is over their price will regain and give you profit.but for it is best to invest in tokens rather than bitcoin fork alternative because at least they have buy back protection. but i think investment in altcoin is more risky because it require more study to know about the potential of that currency therefore you must be too miuch careful about investing money in any alcoin, you must first get some information about the coin where you are going to invest your money and get some profit. |

Summer 2012. Diablo 3. I bought in game gold with bitcoin @ $3/btc - Spent 90 coins for 500 million in game gold.

Having bitcoin, selling and buying. It is like a game that no one can take control unleds you've mastered it. My worst bitcoin decision is that I've sold my bitcoin within the range of 100k but then after the price range become 150k. I think I've lost a big part of my money. that is right but i think some time people take a wrong decision may be due to pani or any other reason but in fact we take a wrong decision and then we lament for that. to me i also sold some coin in previous days but now i am really feeling bad for my that decision. and i think that is the worst mistake that i every take in bitcoin. |

In my place of work only one or two people knew about bitcoin, majority does not know anything about bitcoin, personally I have been in the forefront of enlightening and educating people around me what bitcoin is all about and I am convinced with all my efforts more people will know more about bitcoin I am imploring other members of this forum to do same so as to educate more people about bitcoin.
i think you should introduce bitcoin in your area. when i start using bitcoin same was the case in my area. i think i ws the first person who know about bitcoin but then i start introducing bitcoin in my area and now i can see that majority of people are using bitcoin in fact i started introducing bitcoin to my family first and then to my friends and now a good number of people are using bitcoin here in my area. |

We are still gambling because we still have a hope even if we lose. Hope is what makes us play another game. When you sport bet and you lost for one match, you are like "Next time, I am getting them all." And then you gamble over and over until you are about to lose hope. But I think if you keep trying and never lose hope, you will eventually win (but after losing all your money)
in fact gambling give us expectation of making money, even if we are losing money there. in fact in gambling even after losing the bet we are not ready to accept that lost and still put more trust on bitcoin, i think the reason for that is that bitcoin is looking to us as an easy way of making money but the fact is that bitcoin is one of the most difficult way of making money. |

I don't gamble much so my vote went for that. But I do gamble and I enjoy doing it with bitcoin. The only reason I see why to gamble with altcoins is when they give you them for free.
gambling with altcoin is i think not so, different than that of bitcoin. both are digital currency and works same but it really depends upon the will of the user or interest of the user that in which he is interested in. i think altcoin in gambling will also become interesting if they pay good price money and it also depends upon worth of them. Altcoins may be attractive to gamble with because of the faster transactions/lower transaction fees. But imo it is still gambling and it doesn't matter what is the price of an alt you are gambling with. What matters is whether you win or lose, and that depends on your luck at any given moment of time. Fees also shouldn't bother anyone who is going to gamble. If you are not lucky that money is already lost so 1$ up or down won't make any difference. And bitcoin transactions are very fast lately with very low fees, unless bitcoin price jumps over $50K in that case gambling will become "entertainment for the rich". But that is far future. If Bitcoin prices jump over $50k fees will have to adapt as well. If not, people will just gamble with altcoins instead. And there's always the option of just gambling with fiat. I don't think fees will rise with the price rising. I don't know much about the technical side, but I'm telling from my own experience. Fees were much higher than now one month ago but the price of bitcoin was much lower. i think yes that the transaction fee is already so high and i think people already find it difficult to hold pay the fee therefore to me i think the the fee may not not be increase with the increasing price of bitcoin i think we are even expecting that the transaction fee will be over view and may be the exchanges reduce the transaction fee. |

No one can give an exact answer to this question, but I think that bitcoin will still exist for several years until I get rich from the rapid price growth. After all, if you look really, then it will not grow all the time.
You're right. I think we can just focus on making the most out of btc while it's still here. It may crash this year or it may take a couple of years or it may not crash at all and just evolve with time. The importsnt thing is that it gives us opportunities that we should takr advantage of i think you do not need to worry, hope that bitcoin will stay here for ever and will continue giving us profit, but still it is good to focus on our job and work. so as to become more successful, i think we should also introduce bitcoin to our friends and family so that they can also start getting profit for it and make bitcoin more stronger and reliable. |

It depends on whether you like your job/ you can find jobs easily/ it is worth your time. Because if it's not, then you're just taking your job for granted. You can still pay attention to bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but if you really like/love your job (I presume you don't because you posted this) then don't abandon it, find reasons or things to be more productive at work and have bitcoin by your side.
yeah this make little sense. If your job is kind of more efficient like you can earn in thousands then it would be better to make bitcoin as you part time job. If you have job and also you work on bitcoin then it is much better because in this way you can earn from 2 dimensions and this make you pretty much rich. Because bitcoin business does not need your complete attention you just invest and wait for dream price. i think even those people who have good day job still they want to continue using bitcoin, most of the rich people are also using bitcoin as currency for online shopping. i think bitcoin is the need of every person either he is rich or poor but he need adopt bitcoin as currency and for trading and investment purposes also. |

in current position i think that is the right thing to say. to me i will always suggest you to hold your bitcoin for some more time, because there are more expectation that the price of bitcoin will increase too much and will give you a good profit. i think still people are expecting that the price of bitcoin will reach to 5000$. |

- mining (ATLCOIN)
- grants and "tips"
- trade
- gambling
Investing and trading is the best way to earn, as long as we know how to choose a project that will likely to get successful and have patience on holding the ats for trading. yes these are the good ways of earning bitcoins and i will choose trading. because in trading i have good experience and for most of the time i already have made good profit, actually we shold select such kind of profession where we have more interest and only then we can remain as successful there. |

Why you don't choose real estate for have a passive income? You use it for rent and earning money every month, not need worry more about the profit or the risk because in long time the value of this real estate can growth more than.
if we discuss about bitcoin, then to me in the world of bitcoin signature campaign is the only way for steady income. but i think there are alot of other mean of earning bitcoin from where one can get a good amount of bitcoin. for example trading is the best way of earning money from where we can make a good amount of money. |

The price honestly is too high but buying bitcoin is always a good choice even the price right now is high.. because there is possibility that the price can be increase more soon..
But for me better to wait more time maybe the price will decrease soon and buy even the price is below $3k if the price won't increase these week better to buy because there is high possibility that the price can be increase more..
Yes, There is no limit and it's possible for the price to go much higher. A day may come when we buy bitcoin at 10000 dollar or even higher. i think yes there is still good time to hold bitcoin for a long time, because its price is too much increasing and very soon we can see that its price will cross 4000$ and still it will continue to increase further. therefore investment in bitcoin in current time will be a right decision. |

Bitcoin has crossed the 3300$ price line and i believe that at this rate of growth we can expect the rate of Bitcoin to cross the 4000$ mark by end of this year for sure.
Why you need another five months to cover merely $700 ? There are any reasons behind that ? I guess you do not understand the power of bitcoin adoption even you are well aware how quickly bitcoin has reached $3300 from $1000. I am expecting bitcoin prices to reach $4000 when segwit will be activated. Segwit activation is going to happen by august 8. This current rally from $2800 to $3300 had happened due to this reason. I have the same expectations from the bitcoins. They are definitely going to touch 4k dollars after the execution of the Segwit. I don’t think so there is any reason for bitcoins to dump in the coming months. All the bitcoin holders are going to be rich in the end of this year. I too expecting to reach 4000$ and above because today rate of the bitcoin was near 3300. So easily it reach 4000$ and above ..segwit activation complserly happen in near by 8th august .so there is no changes and doubt to others herfo to me i think now we are very close to 4000$. i think most of the people are expecting that the price of bitcoin do not have to stay here at 4000$, but it will continue increasing for a long time and it is expected that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin will cross 5000$, therefore i think we should to buy more bitcoin in current price. |

Bitcoin can improve the economy of country if the citizens of such a particular country offers services which will serve as foreign exchange I.e earning bitcoin and exchanging it to fiat, this will boasts their economy and improve the purchasing power of the people in that country.
Skilled individuals in that particular country will also be gainfully employed by offering their skills where needed online globally and paid with bitcoin.
yes that is right and i am agree with you that bitcoin is providing opportunities to people to earn money and so in this respect we can say that bitcoin is really improving the economy of a country because bitcoin is increasing the per capital income of a person and therefore we can say that bitcoin is really improving the economy of a country. |

It isn't just now $2750 but it is now $3100. It broke the $3000 range. And probably it will go somewhat at $3500. Maybe that could be the next range of bitcoin. Is anybody here knows about ath? Bitcoin ATH? I'm hearing about that thing all over and over again but I do not understand what it meant.
the price of bitcoin cross 3300$ and still proceeding so there is no doubt that bitcoin is now skyrocket and still going to increase more. i am sure about the price of bitcoin that very soon it will cross 4000$ level and will even continue to increase too much. we can expect that bitcoin price will still continue increasing for a long time. |

For me it's not a lose. The best strategy is sell at the peak and buy at the dip. You never know what's coming so better to take advantage of the ups and downs. But this is only for people who has all day to monitor the price of bitcoin but if you are a long term holder then there's nothing wrong.
but i think yes we can consider it as a lost because we have missed a good opportunity of making money in a short time. i think whose people who even invest money in bitcoin when it was trading in 2300$ they are also now getting a good profit form it. and if they will still hold it then there ar more chances that they will make their investment double in few months. |
