201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 09, 2020, 08:06:39 AM
I think I am late to the good news. So as I've read, there could be four choices format.

1. Sixteen teams go in Playoffs
- Both Top 8 teams Eastern/Western.
2. Twenty teams Olympic-group style play
- Just like World Cup.
3. Twenty two teams that will play/finish more regular games, and play-in tournament.
- For the 8th seed.
4. Thirty teams that will play/finish the 72 regular games, and play-in tournament.

That said, more favorable for the decision to choose is number 3. According to the NBA youtube channel that have 1 million subscriber.

Quote
The NBA suspended tests for recreational drugs when the season stopped due to coronavirus, and as Charania reports it will stay that way for the rest of the year. That means the remainder of the NBA season and the playoffs will be the most stoned sporting event of all time. No debate.

Sorry JR, but I think you’re the guy everybody thinks of when it comes to playing in a NBA game while high as a kite. Hell, there’s a YouTube video called “JR Smith weed-night vs Spurs,” which features Smith throwing up countless airballs and not making a single shot in a blowout loss:

The beauty of JR, though, is that this could have been him completely sober, and that’s why he was off. It’s hard to tell the difference from him being high and not high when he would chuck up all those shots anyway.

As time passes, and more and more people seem to be coming around on the legalization of marijuana, many former NBA players have flat out said they got high before games on a regular basis
https://sports.yahoo.com/remainder-nba-season-going-most-204340563.html

Hilarious, intriguing, and alarming.
They admitted, so they are really doing it.
It's just funny that it was JR Smith which was focused here.

Probably because he has gotten many times of suspension in anti-drugs. Cheesy

PBA commissioner Willie Marcial is positive with the return, I think we should be positive as well.

https://pba.ph/news/marcial-takes-positive-mindset-pba-can-resume-stalled-season
This is great news for all of us here.
7/10 for PBA to return is not that bad considering how NBA officially will return as well even having a million of COVID-19 cases.

God bless our Government for flattening the curve ASAP.

Maybe we can also have a bet on "when PBA will return?" we can put a month as a betting option but let's only put the choices of months within this year, whoever wins, they will divide the pot. Grin  What do you think, do you like this one?
Sounds fun. Count me in!
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 09, 2020, 04:23:30 AM
How about you consider that Manny Pacquiao is the only 8 world division champion? What I'm afraid for Pacquiao is his speed, his last fight I notice that he is not speed as he was 3 to 4 years ago maybe that's one of factor to consider also but it's middleweight and triple G is not that quick also in the ring, all he got is a power punches which I think Pacquiao could easily dodge and hold, he fought Thurman which is a lot taller than him, triple G is thicker in body size so we'll really see if this happens.
Yeah, I know Manny Pacquiao very well (coz I am Filipino). By looking at MP last fight (January 2019), that gives us more insight about his current capability.

GGG won at Sergiy Derevyanchenko at 114-113 score (close fight), but GGG struggled to win the fight. Looking at it, Manny Pacquiao can still (probably) dominate the fight if he is still in the same condition against his last fight K. Thurman.

hi, there's a youtube tutorial on how to download PBA2k20 but this is for PC users.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6k7DbMJAc3M
Oh wow.
Now that is more interesting for the game itself.
Kinda look like NBA 2K20, huh.

Anyways, I only point Manila here which is currently under GCQ, since PBA events and activities are mostly done in Manila. I don't know what will be the catch if PBA will consider resuming on other regions that currently on MGCQ status if Manila will still stay under the status of GCQ until the PBA announcement (August).
Rumors spreading that Metro Manila could be back at ECQ on June 15. I don't know if it's true, but that's sound bad, isn't?

As @asu said, we have the "Pormadaraska" PBA Slam. This game is already years in my backup phone as one of my "Kill Time" game before and guess what, game devs here are active and the update is continuous. I already finish the season with Brgy. Ginebra, San Miguel, and Talk N Text and purchase lots of stuff on their store. Cheesy
I don't play the game for year(s) now, but I do remember the hilarious way of the commentators of the game. Cheesy

I feel old yet and time flies remembering how long I haven't play that game again.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Might Fight Golovkin on: June 08, 2020, 05:26:24 PM
...

If this fight happen, who is your bet?

Both professional boxer.
Both absolutely still an explosive boxer.
Both last fight won.

It would be hard to say for now and I wonder who's odd will favor. Cheesy

The fight would be awesome if it happen.

For the gamers here, is PBA2k game available in the playstore and have you tried playing it yet?

I saw the article but haven't read the full story yet.

Inside a team of modders’ quest to bring the PBA into ‘NBA 2K20’

<...>
There's no PBA2K on the playstore and reading the whole article they are still on the process to mod it and as far as I can tell more like it's only for PC what they are trying to modify and not for the mobile version based on the feature shown on the article. I think that's great to those PBA lover as well as gamer of basketball through PC or mobile (if they really make one of it), modding isn't easy and it will give them more pain in the ass before it will ever be released and besides they are just 3 man team but I think they are dedicated to finish it up.

Yeah, same goes on my end here.
No PBA 2K20 on playstore yet.

The interesting part here is there were lots of fans/community our waiting for the software to be released.

In the meantime, there's app that created long time ago but still working and updated on time. Try the PBA Philippines Slam 2020 (it's very fun and enjoyable to play).

But if you want, I can invite your team to our weekly tournament here. Php 250/team entry. PM me if interested. You can also challenge team asu for now so that we can add more finished games here. Smiley
Thanks for recommending me. Yeah, if anyone wants to have some fun, we can arrange the match (just contact me on telegram).

Anyways, I will not take any challenge for now as I'm only using prepaid data. Our ISP, Sky Broadband do have a technical problem for around 7 days now here in our area. Half of their subscribers here don't have the internet including us. They know lots of people are in work from home and yet this situation came.

Frequencies are not improving since May 22. I will not lock the thread as others might want a challenge to anyone.
As much I hate Smart, Globe and Pldt, they're still much better than Sky.
But changing it would cost you more because of the lock in period...
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the Bitcoin PTCs, PPM, PPC and RevAdShare Sites gone? on: May 26, 2020, 09:22:07 PM
They have thing thing "Offerwalls" a new type of PTC, I guess.

Offerwalls are just PTCs that pay you to complete surveys and install apps instead of clicking on links, so they are subject to the same process I described above.

Oh yeah, I remembered, I've seen something like that, but it's an Bitcoin related app in Play store or App store that will pay you to install such apps that they recommend. So, that's how it called, nowadays...

This is what I found(https://www.bit-sites.com/best-bitcoin-ptc-sites/), don't know if it's true.

They have this thing "Offerwalls" a new type of PTC, I guess.

215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: May 26, 2020, 08:51:11 PM
I tried it once(just the amount that I can afford to lose) and it went luckily in profit lmao. Well, just like other's advice, don't gamble with a debt money, so much risks involved. Just think about the pressure. Cheesy

We don't have a choice though. Some members of the current Gilas pool will bid farewell for a few years from now. I hope these youngsters will boom someday.
Agreed, with you here.

CJ Perez, Robert Bolick, and Troy Rosario are those youngsters of the Gilas. Looking forward to raise the flag of the Philippines someday in the Basketball Org. Not, the trending fight on FIBA against Australia. Cheesy
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 26, 2020, 08:02:07 PM
And there are still lots of games that can be played without much physical nor close contact.

Such as, online games.
1. CS:GO
2. DOTA 2

If I am not wrong there are ongoing tournament/competition at CS:GO, I just haven't checking it if it's available in sportsbook, but many popular have it (I know).

share your experience, first How much have you seen the price of Bitcoin?
I first find Bitcoin at the price of $300-400 around to that. Faucet's really worth to spend some time at that day (where I first started and spend one day after I went to know this forum).
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does pure price action strategy (NO INDICATOR) work for cryptocurrency trading? on: May 26, 2020, 07:10:49 PM
Do you think trading pure price action without indicator works on the crypto market?
Yep, on a clear price chart. In a simple terms, price action is a non predictive trading technique that shows a trader to read the market by those what @harizen mentioned.
The references that will act as indicators are hype, speculation, news, and upcoming events.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 26, 2020, 06:56:58 PM
Yeah, it's not surprisingly that this scenario would happen after the BTC halving. Just like what others said, if you are not in the hurry, you can pay a lower fees for the meantime (10 sats above per byte would be cheaper and a normal one).
