1  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Éire on: April 01, 2013, 12:36:35 PM
Certainly works for me since I am not Irish as well. Wink

Do you shoot short movies? Because I make music for short movies.

Just big fan of SF and I find short form les constrained. Blog mostly so I can have them in one spot, but it has some growth potential and it's low maintenance.
Don't want to sound like cheeky bastard, but did you tried bitcoinworker?  Roll Eyes

Bur seriously, I'll be happy to attend and mingle

PEK   Planet Express Klan (gaming clan)

i know it's a long shot

EDIT: No need to ramp up post count

  • PEK Acronym - Pussy Eating King
  • pek - Slang for a midget or a very very short person.

The first one in the edit is my personal favorite  Cool

Would it hurt to try dissemble it a little and spray contact cleaner basically everywhere ?? I know they have water damage stickers they will have activated so its to late for that, but would the contact cleaner make things worse ?

I had some luck with reviving water dropped electronics using IPO baths. Contact cleaner contains propane which is barely solluble in water, while IPO mix with water in all proportions. Nice IPO bath followed by some time in dry, moderately warm spot, surrounded by paper towels or silica packets will dry up most/all humidity from under the components and ICs.

Just checking if offer still stands.

I filled the form and have few pointers. As much as I love cyberpunk 2020 and their invention of eurodollar, I'm afraid actual currency over here is just called euro.

Other thing that irked me a little bit was how removed was BTC's text-field from price in Euros. I think it would be much better from usability viewpoint to have them together so all the important details about how much and what is being sold/bought are together instead of being spread around the site.

It would be great if # of BTC to receive wasn't read-only as many customers might want to type just 10BTC instead of fighting with cents. Either field should auto-update upon data entry in the other one.

Besides that, quite functional website, straight to the point.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Peerbet.org - Play without house edge! [BONUS FOR TRANSLATORS] on: March 31, 2013, 01:27:22 AM
In deposits-pl.php bitcoin should be lower case (it's bitcoin for currency unit and Bitcoin for network)
In most places I still see Bitcoin units in upper case, therefore it can be more convenient for the users.

As it will be first contact with Bitcoin for some Polish users I thought there's no need to complicate things. Not mentioning a fact, that Find & Replace helps working fast.

@giantdragon I wanted to do as much as possible, because your translation was damn near perfect Wink

Thank you!
I will deploy translations on the server a bit later when receive all locales for the most popular languages.

No problem, I can happily go on online gambling binge now Wink

If you have good language, you can proofread translation posted right above this post.
BTW, write your Peerbet username and I will throw you few credits to try the luck!

There were some punctuation issues and few typos, other than that I wouldn't do it better. Your translation has been proofread, and it's ready to be tested. No changelog, just textfile listing edited files.

We are happy to announce bonuses for the Peerbet website and Android app translation. You can earn 0.01-0.1 BTC depending from the localization value to the Peerbet (i.e. popular languages will be rewarded higher). You need to translate website's locale files and Android app's strings.xml.

If you are interested in, write what languages do you know.

Is anyone doing Polish already? If not, I can do it!

17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Is this board sensible for FPGA mining? on: August 20, 2012, 09:51:34 PM
Oh, I wouldn't buy it from ebay, it's waaay overpriced there.  I think I might be able to get it with the casing (sold separately of course) for around 200-210e. That said, I wish I had other nostalgia hobby sometimes, SNES seems so much cheaper Wink

To be honest I don't want to make thousands out of it, just to be able to substantialy lower the cost of the board by mining while not playing Syndicate or UFO Wink

I remember reading somewhere on the forum about Spartan 3 500k based core utilizing 60-odd percent of the die. There was no Mh/s info though. I guess it's because number is not impressive at all Sad

No new Amiga for me than. Thanks for clarification Wink
18  Bitcoin / Mining support / Is this board sensible for FPGA mining? on: August 19, 2012, 11:56:19 AM
There is quite interesting board with 400k Spartan FPGA designed to be Amiga hardware emulator

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MiniMig-FPGA-Motherboard-Amiga-500-600-Emulator-/160808157843#ht_4215wt_840

I guess my endgame for when ASICalypse comes will be staying with capable retro gaming machine and having it halfpriced thanks to bitcoins Smiley

How much hashing power could I squeeze from XC3S400-4PQ208C?
Will 2Mb of onboard memory will be sufficient?
Do I just dump core with hardcoded input data through JTAG?
Is there any streamlined process to prepare cores, preferably with FPGA chips to preselect from?

Thanks

Hi, great idea, although there should be .png or .jpg version as well to display better on fb.

In .pdf I'd love if links were clickable.

And if you need Polish Translator, give me a shout Wink

20  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitcoin Faucet Helper Chrome Extension on: August 13, 2012, 05:11:57 PM
Cool extension. Was thinking about something similar, but laziness took the best of me.

As new user I have to report, that in latest Chrome release you cannot double-click on non-store-approved extension file any more and instead I had to:

  • Open Tools -> Extensions page
  • Drop .crx file from download bar onto Extension page

in order to install it. Small annoyance, hope it doesn't hinder adoption.

And last but not least, I took the liberty to add your site to Tagpad
http://tagpad.com/bookmarks/int21h

Hope you don't mind
