Have to agree with Pepe team. IRC can have !rain bots, price bots, etc. But of course I have seen bots that mirror all chat to slack, suck as in bittrex room, so you could do both. But what is the advantage of slack that I am missing over IRC?
Personally, I see the main advantage being the ability to have multiple channels for different purposes. Devs can also have private channels if they wish, or even other members. Holy shit IRC doesn't have multiple channels you can make!? Slack hype is overrated. IRC 4 life Also, OSX wallet? "Slack hype"? You've got far too much time on your hands. Maybe you should use it to learn to compile a wallet on your own. It's awesome when you try to provide suggestions and get trolled for it. The coin is going to do real well with bullshit like that. |

It is also possible to integrate the IRC channel with Slack, Bittrex has done this. Bittrex is also connected to the other Slack channels. Just post the IRC channel and I'll be there. I tried slack and just don't like it. It is the same thing as IRC but with avatars (big whoop) and you need invites and passwords for every channel, and then it is very difficult to see all your channels, the interface is clunky and HexChat is just so much better. No need to re-invent the wheel with prettier interface, but shittier interface.
You're obviously missing the point of the platform, but, to each their own. |

Go to your console and do a "checkwallet". Backup your wallet.dat, Put it on a safe place, delete all content from PEPE folder. Let the wallet sync with a new wallet.dat, after it's done, put your old wallet.dat inside. the good cmd to use for this issue is"pepecoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet" now all is working fine Glad to hear things worked out for you with that. Wallet issues can be stressful! Going to have our IRC up tonight, who's coming? Skip IRC, set up a Slack channel and we'll get you integrated in SSN (shared slack network). |

I know this is a small thing, but it reminds me of why I am skeptical of putting money into this. You say "please take a look at MY development progres..." as opposed to "our" (i.e., the lisk team). I feel like there are only 2 guys behind LISK, I just wish there were more. He's talking specifically about the dapp, not the platform which it sounds like he did in his personal time. Simple misunderstanding it sounds like to me. |

Things have been quiet, I'll offer a few suggestions that maybe the devs could offer bounties for?
1. New logo, branding, etc.
2. New website
3. IRC/Twitter/Slack tipbot
4. Signature campaign
5. Blog articles, etc.
In addition, more frequent communication w/ the community would go a long way. Just my 2 EC.
