1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑☑☑[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.5 New Version on: February 12, 2018, 11:03:44 AM
I noticed that my masternode stoped to recieve payments.

When I checked it it was online, but on masternode list it is shown as "EXPIRED"...
What is the problem and how can I get it to work again?

Thanks in advance!

I just won $20 at FreeBitco.in!

My user id is 712628.

My winning seeds: https://s3.amazonaws.com/roll-verifier/verify.html?server_seed=481e3e57b44dac7c97279e6db9b02366b9022cae6ac1031effca806826ae22c1&client_seed=ADGAYn0nvdWsbNXx&server_seed_hash=6deeae741abbaedf5af40a18b254737e77e58bb78bbcd4f40f3193ed3c4c05e9&nonce=24806

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Krnlx Nvidia xevan miner - 3.3+ mh on 1070, ~6mh on 80ti FREE, OPENSOURCE on: October 06, 2017, 08:29:03 PM
anybody can tell me what I am doing wrong?
When I start the miner with altminer config like this:
Code:
ccminer_x86 -a xevan -o stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:3739 -u Vo...Z -p c=VSX
Windows 10
it always gives me an error message:
Code:
[2017-10-06 13:59:06] Starting on stratum+tcp://eu1.altminer.net:3739
[2017-10-06 13:59:06] NVAPI GPU monitoring enabled.
[2017-10-06 13:59:06] 6 miner threads started, using 'xevan' algorithm.
[2017-10-06 13:59:07] Stratum authentication failed
[2017-10-06 13:59:07] ...retry after 30 seconds

WTF??? coin code is correct, wallet address is correct, startum address is correct, so why it complains???
Did you set the intensity manually?
Quote
UPD. For 1060 cards intensity sets up incorrectly - you must adjust it with -i param. -i 20 is best for 1070, 1080ti
As far as I see the answer is no. There may be your problem.

Really? Ive been getting airdrops for almost a year now.

A small number of full members were probably accepted at the beginning but not any more
I didnt receive my AirDrop too.
I am Sr.Member here.

A quick question:
Is it mandatory to pay a fee in wallet v0.14.0.3 even if the transferred coins are below the 1kB TX?
Because I've tested the new version and there is no way to transfer coins without paying a fee.

This is easy doable in v1.2.7.1 if your TX is below 1kB.

Freebitco.in Now Start mining
Nice idea, bad implementation IMHO.
If you start mining in browser, you don't get notification when the timer runs out and the autorefresh to the claim page just does'nt work.
So you will get a few extra satoshis mining, but you lose those free claims - especially if you are like me with ~1000sat/hour minimal claim.

Maybe what will be best is CPU mining pool - you can use more miners, more OS'es, more optimisations to the miner itself.
Just my 2 cents.

For some reason I don't have access to mining yet but is there any reason you can't have 2 tabs open, one mining and one with the timer?
Two tab solution works... Smiley
But I still prefer to point my cpu's directly to a pool, cause all of my rigs are cpu-idling, when they can make some satoshis. Smiley

Recently I started go get these messages on my Windows and Linux wallets...
Windows:
Code:
"errors" : "EXCEPTION: St12out_of_range
CInv::GetCommand() : type=1073741830 unknown type
bitsend-qt.exe in ProcessMessages()"

Linux:
Quote
EXCEPTION: St12out_of_range
CInv::GetCommand() : type=1073741830 unknown type
bitsend in ProcessMessages()

What that does mean and should I worry?
BSD versions: v1.2.7.1-g-beta (32-bit) on Windows and version 1020702 on Ubuntu (Built from source)

Any mining tool for xevan on Nvidia GPU? I found only AMD supported in bitsend  Sad

I do not believe they have a working Nvidia miner yet.

There is one but no one has compiled for Windows that I am aware of yet, it would be great if someone could do that for the community Smiley
https://github.com/LIMXTEC/xevan_ccminer/
Last commit from 20 days ago removes all XEVAN related stuff.
So I guess it does'nt work...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash EQM Zcash NVIDIA optimized miner [Maxwell/Pascal] + CPU mining v1.0.4c on: May 24, 2017, 11:59:15 AM
Use NiceHash Miner and you will get even more speed: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=nhmintro

When will it be available on linux? Been waiting for it forever :-)
Me too...  Cool
As I read the thread, there are a lot of people asking for linux binary.

Hi Magi(c) people, I've been out of crypto world for the last 3 months...I see I missed a lot Sad
What happened with Poloniex-MAGI? I can't find XMG on polo...
Sadly, Poloniex decided to delist Magi-XMG.
But now we have a Roadmap and the coin itself is getting momentum and hype. Smiley
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: May 24, 2017, 07:33:21 AM
yes equihash seems to work better than i first expected, its already working but not made to support all the pools for the moment. (should be the 2.1)

Thats awesome, looking forward to it!
Awesome work Epsylon3!
Just tested it on one of my rigs. It works fine on zpool.ca, not working on NiceHash.
It is slower than EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner with --fee 0, but I read that there is no optimisations for now to compare the performance.
Do you plan optimisations?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: excavator by NiceHash - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA CUDA miner [1.1.4a] on: May 14, 2017, 04:56:38 AM
New version of excavator is very very near, be prepared.

No more old way of giving commands over command line; get ready for true commanding over API and out of the box dual/trippe/etc mining, OpenCL support and new algorithms. We also prepared a way to run the miner standalone by writing a big "config/commanding" file that is very powerful when it comes to commanding miner as it supports everything API has. However, it will still be just an alpha version.
Maybe there will be a LINUX binary at last...
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: cpuminer-opt v3.6.3, open source optimized multi-algo CPU miner on: April 21, 2017, 05:25:03 AM
That 3.6.3 version is not working with any algo on my i7 4770K.
I get 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000001d). Click OK to close the application.'
Windows? Linux?
Command line?

that looks like an "arch" issue  , maybe an Cpu wich doesnt support AES , AVX
I am waiting for reply from vps provider

Code:
cat /proc/cpuinfo
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: March 30, 2017, 09:00:26 PM
Did you make clean install of the driver or just install over previous version?
Maybe that leaved the broken nvidia-smi?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: March 30, 2017, 07:18:41 PM
how to see clocks and how to change them?
Thanks
EDIT: so far i tried both mem and gr and it says [NOT SUPPORTED]

http://cryptomining-blog.com/7341-how-to-squeeze-some-extra-performance-mining-ethereum-on-nvidia/
Its for ETH mining, but the the same priciple for reading max clocks and set it via nvidia-smi

If it says [NOT SUPPORTED] then the nvidia-smi that came with the driver is broken.
nVidia tend to release many drivers for linux with broken nvidia-smi...
I am sure that 375.39 has working nvidia-smi
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: March 30, 2017, 04:16:28 PM
EWBF,

Will it be possible to add another switch under --eexit?
Like, exit the miner if total speed reaches 0 sol/s.

I second this, I will run for a good 2 days and then start hashing 0.  For me I don't think it is OC issues cause I already had to go down from when I ran 3b.  3b was the most stable at highest clocks.  I dont mind the lower clocks but frustrated with the stability issue so having a command to restart the miner if it reaches 0 would be great.

Yes, but i think it's better to fix this. On the side of the pool speed also falls? And can you show the log file?
Just noticed the same bug on one of the rigs
Code:
Temp: GPU0: 46C GPU1: 24C GPU2: 26C
GPU0: 0 Sol/s GPU1: 0 Sol/s GPU2: 0 Sol/s
Total speed: 0 Sol/s
ERROR: Looks like GPU0 are stopped. Restart attempt.
INFO: GPU0 are restarted.
ERROR: Looks like GPU1 are stopped. Restart attempt.
INFO: GPU1 are restarted.
ERROR: Looks like GPU2 are stopped. Restart attempt.
INFO: GPU2 are restarted.

CUDA: Device: 0 User selected solver: 0
CUDA: Device: 2 Thread exited with code: 46

I've running the 3b version since release, this behavior is from 2-3 days

A couple of questions:
-one card is usually around 65%. This is a headless machine with no monitor. Is that the issue?
-the miner auto selects algorithm 0. I presume that's the best? Seems like there's a fair amount of memory left, but then the GPU is at 99%.
-are some 1080's that can't be OC'd on Linux? I tried to set some of the clocks with nvidia-smi - but they failed as not supported.

(and yes the fourth card is a 1080 Ti - I'm getting about 660 sol/s with stock.

Personally I too prefer linux for mining. Smiley
Currently I use nVidia's 375.39 driver - it is rock solid, but it lacks support for 1080 Ti in your case.
You can get more GPU usage by manually setting P0 instead of P2 by setting highest application clocks via nvidia-smi.
I use it on a rig with GeForce GTX 970 that also prefers P2 by default.

I've tried many ways to overclock nVidia card in linux, none of them successful (I use Ubuntu Server, headless, without GUI)
