Litecoin I think is down and has been down for at least 4 hrs, I had my miners running I was doing other things then went to the coinotron stats page around 3 pm westcoast time and looked at the stats for all the Litecoin miners ; I must have had my miners running for nothing for several hours http://coinotron.com/coinotron/AccountServlet?action=statisticsTop miners LTC# Name Shares Speed 1 zhezhe 17424 0.00 KH 2 Schwede65 11733 0.00 KH 3 goblin1974 5580 0.00 KH 4 Squidnet 1947 0.00 KH 5 Josi 1860 0.00 KH 6 SuperTramp 1815 0.00 KH 7 fagtri 1623 0.00 KH 8 Ian_Moone 1296 0.00 KH 9 ue7ae 849 0.00 KH 10 RobRoy 345 0.00 KH 11 h4malui 318 0.00 KH 12 novacioni 264 0.00 KH 13 nipester 237 0.00 KH 14 XPMining 192 0.00 KH 15 chris3spice 186 0.00 KH 16 daki 111 0.00 KH 17 czarnicholas2k 72 0.00 KH 18 dim13 69 0.00 KH 19 skippy 69 0.00 KH 20 squeept 66 0.00 KH .

I have been mining LQC for a 24 hrs now and on the coinotron site I have the threshold set but for some reason my wallet is still empty is is there something I am missing? Also, it does not work well... listtransactions command does not work... the blockchain download stops at 1000... It is almost useless... Thank you I missed that , well time to find another different coin to Mine

Well now I can get it to load if I use this minerd -o http://mine.pool-x.eu:8337 -p(mypassword) -u (myname):1 --threads 15 But I get an http request failed URL returned error 403 Well 403 is forbidden, so you did your username or pass incorrectly (most likely user, should be .1 not :1) Oh I figured you were using the right ports and shit. Your using pooler's miner right? This works just right for me... Try minerd --url http://mine.pool-x.eu:8337/ --userpass Pizza.1:x --threads 15 That would connect you with user as Pizza, worker as 1, and pass as x (the : splits them). So say your user was ian and pass was x, then it would be --userpass ian.1:x Wow thank you that totally work

this may seem like a silly question but how dio I get this to run 15 cores I have a bat file but it doesn't work . I did have this working before but I don't remember what I did to get it up and running. @echo off
START /LOW /B minerd.exe --algo scrypt --url http://mine.pool-x.eu:9332/ --PW Name.1:1 --threads 15 -r -1 -s 5
I am new to all of this so any help would be appreciated

I am running 2 Opteron 6128 cpu's tha tare 8 cores each . ANyways I finally figured out how to set the CPU affinity in windows by just using the Process Explorer task manager and then scrolling down to poclbm.exe right clicking then choosing "Set Affinity" . I had two of these one is for my GPU and the other was for my CPUs so once I figured out which one was the CPU I unchecked the 0 affinity and this solved my problem. Thank you every one for your posts

You simply leave a core free. Nothing more to do. Just leave a core free, if you have 8 core then tell the CPU miner to use 7 cores. If you run BOINC, well, same, tell it to use 7 cores.
That doesn't work for me , I tried to run just 12 cores for the CPU miner ( out of 16) but my GPU mine still drops all the way down to 1-5/Mhash/s

Ok I am running 2 8 core Opterons now for a what might seem like a silly question, How do I make one core open so tha tmy GPU can use that core? I currently am using windows7x64, and will most likely be switching to Linux very soon so I will need to know how to do this in Linux

I am a total Noob at Mining bitcoins , well at anything Bitcoin. my problem is that I have a server with 2 cpus and at this time it only has a single gpu, when ever I run the GPU I get an average of 178/Mhash/s ( not sure if thaT is any good) but when I run both GPU and CPU miners my GPU drops way down to between 1-5/Mhash/s why is that am I doing something wrong?

I have a 2p server with Opteron 6128s in it, when I try to mine with both CPU and my HD 7770 GPU the GPU drops from 180Mhash/s to 1.5Mjhash\s and can I fix this so That I can Mine with both at the same time?

I have tried the Diablominer but it is a little to complicated for a total noob like me, I am currently using GUIminer it pretty much does everything for you . I am not sure if it is me or the miner but I can only seem to get it to load deepbit.net so far lol. most likely it is just me.

there are so many posts that I cannot seem to find anything that tells you where the GPU mining flags are and what they do. I want to turn down my GPU % at night while I am asleep then back up again during the day but I have know clue I am Using the GUIMiner
