781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: September 26, 2017, 02:05:22 PM
Bitcoin price will increase in October as all the uncertainty related to China ban will be sorted out by the end of September. That is why buying activity has increased right now and price is about to touch $4000. I think if you missed the earlier dip, then you can buy now. Price most probably will rise in October.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee: Bitcoin will go above 500k $ in 3 years on: September 25, 2017, 04:41:14 PM

Quote
Bitcoin could hit $100,000 in 10 years, says the analyst who correctly called its $2,000 price
It's important to note what the bold part means: it means nothing! They're trying to add credibility based on something completely irrelevant. Hundreds of analysts all make seemingly random predictions, and because of the large number of predictions, many of them must be true.
That doesn't necessarily mean the analyst is right again in his next prediction. It could have been luck. Given the number of predictions made, it's even likely that several "analysts" are right several times in a row.
Exactly, everyone is predicting something everyday. Bitcoin being speculative asset, these prediction are way too common. All those so called experts are changing their predictions everyday with the fluctuation of market. Growth is indeed there. But predicting any definitive price would be a lie.
783  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to crush major resistance points (very bullish) on: September 25, 2017, 04:27:03 PM
Bitcoin was able to maintain its price $3400+ and didn't fall much after once touching $2900 for a day. This shows that it is not a bubble but is experiencing a natural growth. All this downfall was a minor correction. Since, everything with China will be sorted by September end, buying activity has increased and so does the price. As after September price will more likely stay bullish.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone used EtherDelta? on: September 23, 2017, 03:50:26 PM
I want to sell a token that hasn't been listed on major exchanges yet but I heard that it was available on etherdelta . Before I sell their I have a question , will the price of the token I'm going to sell be what the token's creator set it to be or will it be higher or lower than that? btw I'm talking about Authorship Tokens
All the token created using ETH smart contract will be available on EtherDelta and can be traded. The price need not be equal to the ICO price. I hope you know how the market works. Anyone can put any price and if the seller is ready and buys, then that will be the new price of that token.

What I want to suggest you that whatever coin you have, wait for the company to list it on any exchange be it minor or major and sell there. On EtherDelta, you might not get a desired price or buyer. Price usually rises when the coin get listed on some famous exchange. Confirm it from your company and take the status of the listing process. Unless they are scam, they must be trying to list their token. So have patience.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with ETH ? You buy to hold or to invest in alt coins ? on: September 20, 2017, 04:39:26 PM
What do you do with ETH ? You buy to hold or to invest in alt coins ?
I do both. I have invested a decent amount in ETH for long term and I never touch it and keep it secure in a separate wallet. For trading altcoins and buying ICO coins, I buy seperate amount of ETH at the latest price and just invest. I keep seperate wallets for both the things.
786  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 04:34:57 PM
now this bitcoin has a lot to use as a place of investment
but I want bitcoin as a front investment who have done it
let's share with me how to invest with bitcoin for the future

If you are thinking of investing your Bitcoin into some traditional asset. Then there is no need to do that, the return you would get through Bitcoin that too in relatively short period is not possible with any other traditional asset leaving some highly volatile low cap shares which are really very risky just like a low cap pump and dump cryptocurrency.

If you are thinking of doing altcoin trading with your Bitcoin. Then that would be a great option of increasing your holdings in relatively shorter period. But altcoin trading isn't easy. But once you understand the market, you can easily double your invested amount in just some days.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 20, 2017, 04:28:30 PM
People who don't know about Bitcoin might be skeptical and won't accept Bitcoin. But me personally would definitely accept Bitcoin as salary. That would be the best way to grow my Bitcoin holdings and I could easily convert the required amount in fiat whenever required and other just kept in Bitcoin as an investment.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit the $30.000 mark before 2020 on: September 20, 2017, 04:14:25 PM
Many experts make predictions about bitcoin. But bitcoin as we all know have became uncertain and unpredictable. Those so called experts keep on changing their predictions with time according to market and if anyone of that prediction goes right. They claim themselves to be expert in bitcoin.

But $30k prediction is realistic and we will touch that price before 2020 easily. In coming years, there will be increase in demand and price can easily touch this target.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wich coin is better for an asset on: September 20, 2017, 03:55:30 PM
which coin is better for an asset waves, ethereum , wings or bitcoin?
Bitcoin and Ethereum are indeed the best long term investment. They'll grow regardless of other coins. Waves is gaining momentum and market share gradually. It is also a good long term bet. In October the Waves' price will be pumped due to their release. Wings again has the best development team. They too have news next month, but major release is next year.

You should diversify your portfolio with all these coins. They all are best for long term investment. You really did a good research.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs scam? on: September 20, 2017, 03:48:10 PM
I just joined an ICO, is there any possibilities that I will be scammed. They have just collected $5-10 million.
There are less chances that the ICO that raised in millions would be a scam. But still by checking the track record, everyday many fake ICO comes. We investors need to be cautious and read and understand the project well before investing.

Regarding your investment, you better disclose the name of the ICO in which you invested. So that we can help you better.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: September 19, 2017, 05:35:54 PM
I definitely go for analysing team, project, vision, whitepaper and website. But before investing, I always wait for 3-4 days and analyze the investment growth. If they are already raising millions in initial days, then yes that ICO has some potential and I myself invest in it. Otherwise, I either wait more or just completely ignore the particular ICO. Sometimes the project do have potential, but it didn't get marketise properly. Investing in such ICOs isn't worthwhile too.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: September 19, 2017, 05:31:37 PM
ICO regulation is very much needed. This will not only help in safeguarding investors from possible scams but can also give legit ICO a better platform by eliminating scam ICOs from the competetion. Hundreds of ICOs are coming every month and it becomes hard for ICO to marketise themselves well. With less competition, with a trustworthy reputation of being legit, ICOs can attract more investors.
793  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's clear now China have higher amount bitcoin on: September 19, 2017, 05:27:08 PM
The effect would have been same even if it was some other country with a considerable part in cryptocurrency market. China is indeed a big player in crypto world with maximum hashing power. Any negative news coming from such country definitely spread a sense of fear in investor. But don't forget Bitcoin is decentralized. In no time the hold will shift to some countries. One player goes down, many are already ready to take its place. Japan is working positively in that direction.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: September 19, 2017, 05:22:20 PM
Bitcoin is a world's currency and China is just a part of it. Even if China completely bans Bitcoin or Bitcoin mining, with short term negative effect, bitcoin will ultimately recover. There is huge market available outside China. China might be a major player today, but it will not take much time for any other country to surpass it.

This is the beauty of decentralization!
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending Bitcoin These Days on: September 19, 2017, 05:19:34 PM
Bitcoin has largely became an investment asset than a currency. Most of the Bitcoin holders believe in holding Bitcoin rather than spending because of its deflationary property comes with limited cap. Till when fiat is available which is inflationary, people are less likely to spend cryptocurrencies. In your case, yes if there is some really big deal using Bitcoin, then only people can think of spending. Otherwise who will like to spend something which will grow in value just by holding.
796  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: September 19, 2017, 05:15:08 PM
China has manipulated market many a times by spreading FUD. This time too they were quite successful and were able to take the price enough low for a good entry point by crushing some panic sellers. People need to understand the market and Bitcoin and their potential in order to make a right decision with buying and selling and shouldn't fall for such manipulative news. Bitcoin is still a really good investment that has the potential to give huge returns in coming years. It is still not worthless to invest in Bitcoin.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: GoodNews: Japan is finally given licence to bitcoin exchanges on: September 19, 2017, 05:11:52 PM
Japan has always been a Bitcoin enthusiast country. Government is quite friendly to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in general. Many stores and merchants have already started accepting bitcoin. Recently there was a news where hundreds of exchanges submitted their application for the review process and finally the process has completed. Japan is taking the right step at right time. Market is still growing and the way they are moving they can easily get a bigger share in the crypto market.
798  Economy / Speculation / Re: But if China gov say mining is illegal, we are fucked. Haipo Yang‏ ViaBTC CEO on: September 18, 2017, 03:38:07 PM
There definitely would be a huge disruption in the market if Chinese Government tries to ban mining farms. Price might hugely fall. But because of that many other mining farms will open just in a month in various other countries because mining will be profitable at that time. Market will definitely recover but in that circumstances it would take more time. Many people might panic and withdraw their investments from Bitcoin and price might touch lowest point of the year. But in a period of some months, Bitcoin will come back on track.
799  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back $4xxx bitcoin! on: September 18, 2017, 03:30:59 PM
BTC/USD
We expected Bitcoin to pullback ....
.... 50 percent Fibonacci retracement level of the fall ...

if these type of analysis worked then everyone in the world would have learned them and became rich.
if these types of analysis worked on bitcoin then we would have had multi millionaires in less than 6 months around here.

Seems to be working right now, no?

Nothing is ever 100% right - due diligence, research on currently economic climate and various other factors play a KEY part but writing off technical analysis on basis of your theory that 'everyone in the world would have learned them and became rich' is ridiculous. Might as well say everyone who learns politics will become President.

i am not writing off technical analysis. in fact i believe that is a very helpful tool but it is just a tool. which means to make an analysis and say with confidence that it will come to pass is foolish specially in bitcoin that  a news like banning "ICOs" which doesn't even remotely relate to bitcoin can cause a dip.
Actually banning ICO by Chinese government wasn't a sole reason for the dip. Price touched $5000 way too fast and indicated a pump. In such circumstances any negative news related to crypto market had the potential to bring a dump. Added to that Bitcoin exchange ban rumor along with Jamie Dimon speech intensified the dump. And yes market is still growing and isn't that mature, distribution isn't fair as there are many bulk holders which drive the price sometimes. So, all these reasons together bought a drop and I am glad that it didn't stay for longer, this shows market is growing and the capacity to recover soon is increasing.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 18, 2017, 01:09:51 PM
This was quite expected. Today, Bitcoin is strong enough to recover from such drops. Market is getting bigger and people now understand the potential of cryptocurrencies. In 2 weeks, Bitcoin has recovered from the news of ban by Chinese government which wasn't a small news when it comes to share of China in cryptocurrency market. Maeket is maturing now. People are increasingly investing in Bitcoin and altcoins and hence it will soon become tough to manipulate market by a single news.
