1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 24, 2022, 09:58:35 PM
I believe this year's draft will not bring in any superstars at all. I watched the "highlights" of the top 10, maybe someone out of top 10 could shock the world, but I watched top 10 only, and I can tell you that nothing really stood out for me.

What kind of basis is that mate. Just watching highlights to speculate if there's a future superstar?

There are lots of rookies who just stood up and rise to popularity after playing for at least 3 years. There is even a draft class that is not a hype but after several seasons now making names like the recent young duos of the Boston Celtics, Jayson Tatum, and Jalen Brown.

Give these young players a break. It's been always every year where draft classes aren't that buzz any more.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Trends For 2022 on: June 24, 2022, 09:50:27 PM
The drop for land based casinos did in fruition started at the start of the pandemic, it had made people to stay at homes while the online casinos continued to operate.

As a matter of fact, there's a news again in Macau that there's a spike of covid-19 cases and that can result in another implementation of lock down in some of their streets and likely gambling houses.

We can't really basically say that land-based casinos are heading toward a downward trend.

The reason is obvious why it turned out like that from 2020 until slowly catching up their phase to this point. If the same status is still the status after more years or to the point that we can say that pandemic is over, that's the time we can just consider that land-based casinos are now declining its number of their customers.

About that news in Macau, there might be an implementation of lockdown but gambling establishments there are most likely to remain open as the gambling industry is the primary source of revenue there by the government.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 24, 2022, 09:43:58 PM
I think a kind of the same thread and topic was being discussed already.

Moving forward, I can't classify specifically on what or where I am as what matters to me is, that I'm a responsible gambler all-day around. I'm a fanatic of doing sports betting anyway. I might be a Casual Social, Serious social, or anything. It doesn't really matter to me.

Anyways to OP, what's your stand? While sharing that information here by creating this thread, you should also share your own views about yourself. Sounds like just creating the thread for a "purpose".
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 24, 2022, 09:31:37 PM
Gamblers have an instinct of "feeling lucky" although, in reality, there's no such thing as that.

It's not wrong though to test your luck on that particular session. Give it a test.

Give it a few rolls and risk a fixed budget on that session to see if those feeling lucky do really make sense to believe. If everything went smoothly, then extending your session for a few more rolls should not harm your bankroll on that day. The result on that day depends on how long will you stick to the idea that you really feel lucky as we know, in the long run, the house will eventually turn everything around and that lucky feeling will be turned into the worst day.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 22, 2022, 09:59:52 PM
First Canelo has iron chin, second, he wasn't hit that flush by GGG. So yeah, he can absorb power punches and because he is still in his prime he has the luxury of that. But just one punch will change it all. Who knows, when GGG with volume punching will have that effect on Canelo and when he is hit with a huge punch, might be the first time that we might see Canelo knock down or knock out in his career. But one thing for sure, this fight is going to be entertaining as no one wants to give each other the advantage.

I don't see Canelo will be knocked out here but a chance of another loss is possible.

GGG will surely do his very best in this probably the last fight of his career. Canelo, even how strong his chin is, does have some other flaws too and GGG already knows where those spots are. GGG is the first one that put Canelo on his limit, as others are saying and even by some boxing analysts.

Should the fight is expected to be entertaining? They really should as this trilogy takes several years in the making.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: June 19, 2022, 09:55:54 PM
I don't consider those "tips to win" as can increase our chances of winning. It's more as advice for me and not as a tip. Not even close to the methods of winning.

There's no shared strategy too and just simple and basic advice. Smiley Maybe good for newbies though.

I would like to ask some questions according to the article we are talking about, Is there anyone here in this forum who followed these tips before it was even posted here to win well at crypto slots or the casino? Your answers will be a great addition to the industry we are dealing with in crypto gambling casinos?

We should gamble in our own way. Yes, tips and advice are good but as we progress in gambling, we will learn how to deal with the situation in the long run.

I never follow tips but I am able to create a good gambling experience with my own way and strategy. I know that's the case too on most gamblers here.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on How to Manage Gambling Addiction an Open Discussion. on: June 19, 2022, 09:43:39 PM
I doubt a person who is heavily addicted now to gambling will seek any advice from anyone or will bother to spend time reading any open discussion threads. They are too obsessed in doing gambling to the point that they won't want others to stepped-in to make them stop.

In that particular situation, the best thing to do is to force that person to undergo rehabilitation. In that way, experts in this field can personally treat that addicted person and they know what's the best thing to do to help that person undergo being addicted to gambling.

Sometimes, we need to force these addicted people to undergo such treatment as their ears are now closed to any advice and suggestions.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: National Sports and Sports Betting on: June 19, 2022, 09:36:13 PM
Unfortunately here in our country, the Philippines, our national sports is not even the most talked-about sport here. We are being influenced too much by basketball since then although we are only dominating South East Asia in this sport. I don't know why we still love playing basketball despite the height disadvantages in global competition.

Boxing, billiards, and volleyball are also some of the sports that are mostly being patronized here. In boxing, there's no doubt we can compete with the most popular and big names unlike in basketball. The same goes for the sports of Billiards.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 17, 2022, 09:58:57 PM
And this is the same reason why this championship is so sweet for the organization. They have been battling injuries, and then Durant left them to join the Nets. Last year they try to comeback with Curry having one of his best statistical seasons and yet lost to the Lakers in the play-in. But now they are back at the top. And with their 4th championship in 8 years, they are not considered a dynasty in the last 20 years together with the Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs.

You should not include Kevin Durant in the topic even he's part of the Golden State Warriors organization before. The Warriors are built from a scratch and can win a championship even without Kevin Durant and they did that twice already. The notable one is their current Championship as they are composed of young players. Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson came too from a big hiatus too because of their injury after being rested at their Finals appearance.

I can say that on all their championship, the first and fourth are special.

Congrats too for Steph Curry to finally achieving the NBA Finals MVP that takes several years in the making.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: June 17, 2022, 09:50:10 PM
You're right, the solution to this is to have a good VPN, I've seen a couple of casinos that accept the use of VPN, I don't see anything wrong with it if you play and don't cheat in any way,

While this is true and valid, if the VPN was used to access at restricted and prohibited regions by the gambling site, that will subject to violating the terms.

The use of VPN should be fine as long as it was accessed at allowed regions. The use of VPN is already very common and it was allow by the gambling site at most of the cases as long as, as you have mentioned, not to cheat or do something unusual.

Privacy and anonymity is the only reason why we should used VPN and not the other way around which involves fraud-related schemes.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 17, 2022, 09:43:55 PM
I think this is the most dangerous job because when you find a client to consult with you and after that they lose a very large amount then they will hunt you down and try to account for the advice you give, because at first they are gamblers maybe will come to you in the hope of getting advice on how to win the game at a gambling place. but when they can win then you will get a lot of bonuses from clients.

It's not how it works. There's an agreement between the consultant and clients. The risks is also being discussed as that was usual in sports betting and winning is not an always assurance. The consultant needs to maintain their winning stats that why at all cost, they will do their best not to fail their clients.

Clients also has the final decision in placing bets, not the consultant. The consultant obviously will just provide some tips.

And as far my knowledge is concern, consultants will be only paid for winning bets like there's a percentage for it. If the client complaint about some losses then they don't know what they are doing and just pay for the service.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 17, 2022, 09:33:32 PM
I was hoping the Warriors would bring game 7 to San Francisco and win the championship at home.  That was great run, and awesome championship series.  I'm usually not much of an NBA fan, but the Warriors in the Finals make for some good times.

It should be the other way around which is Boston Celtics should bring Game 7 to Chase Center. Golden State Warriors surely wants to celebrate championship at the former Oracle Arena but Celtics really didn't able to bring their best on that game and try to close the competition against the Golden State Warriors.

If only Boston Celtics try to maintain that good start until 3rd, Warriors might rest their starters early in the game to prepare for the Game 7.

Wiggins is on-fire and he is red hot on his Game 6 performance. Warriors now turning this guy into another version of Splash Brothers. His very best were released under playing with the Golden State Warriors.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 17, 2022, 07:29:38 PM
I play less often unlike before, I reduced the money I am using to bet, emotions gone and I win than before. How about you people, are you high odd punter or low odd. Can you also tell us your experience? At you losing or you make profit from the odds you are taking?

Regardless of the odds, I don't have any specific odds to choose but rather I'm seeing how match will goes. Since the goal is to win, it should be based on how we look at the match no matter what the odds for this. Of course, different story if we are talking about 1.2 or 1.3 as that's really low to me even the goal is to win.

I also like to consider betting on high odds if I really see the match will be favored my analysis, predictions and speculations or sometimes I just like to bet on it and challenge my luck. High odds are really tempting especially if we have a knowledge on that match.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 17, 2022, 07:20:35 PM
Aside from Bivol being huge, he's more comfortable at his own division while Canelo was indeed struggling at that weight class. About their power, I'd say they're somehow equal and fair. In the past, he's looking to move at cruiserweight, right? And that didn't materialized as he definitely know that he is just a somebody at that division.

Canelo Alvarez already beaten a boxer the same as Dmitry Bivol weight class that's why I think he is not struggling at Cruiserweight class. It's just that Dmitry Bivol play the right tactics that beat Canelo. Only few believes that Bivol will win that fight but he did still win because of being patient and calm. He destroys Canelo's gameplay by make the latter pissed off and that destroys his focus.

GGG knows how to handle Canelo and I'm sure he also watched how Canelo got beaten badly by Bivol. He will combined those tactics to stop Canelo turning into a focus beast like what Bivol did.

I'm sure GGG still has lots of left in the tank but just having difficulty now to performed it 100%.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 17, 2022, 07:09:12 PM
Happy to see Stephen Curry finally got his first NBA Finals MVP. First it was Andre Iguodala who shines on their first championship series then Kevin Durant got the 2 Finals MVP later on. Curry deserves that Finals MVP that he is targeting for long. He now becomes the first player winning the NBA Conference Finals MVP and NBA Finals MVP.

Andrew Wiggins almost took the Finals MVP if he is consistent from Game 1. Another shadow again to Steph Curry if ever as Finals MVP are based on Finals series and it doesn't exclude the whole playoffs series.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 16, 2022, 09:58:54 PM
All information regarding betting and mathematics of this business is in the public domain and anyone can study it for free.

I agree at this point. It means being a consultant isn't really demanded or being looked at by most gamblers.

Sports betting, for example, all information needed here is available everywhere. We don't need a consultant here to somehow help us with our decision. Even a newbie can create their own analysis in the long run just by being serious and focused.

I honestly don't see the essence of hiring a betting consultant. But maybe in other places or regions, that was being fully demanded.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 15, 2022, 09:58:45 PM
Telling if the fight is fixed or not? Hard to tell but on todays tech and social media then having  these kind of match fixing is really hard to be played on
yet people could notice somethings weird happening.

Aside from that, players are not that dumb to just sacrifice and risks their respective career for the sake of money in exchange for participating in a game-fixing.

As far as most fixed-games scenarios are concerned, it's the officiating who is always in charge for doing attempting to change the flow of the game as not all players will ruin their career for that. Since officiating can be manipulated that leads to a possible game-fixing scenario.

But in today's current status of high leagues, I doubt game-fixing is still happening.

They are professional and the trust of the people is where the revenues came from.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 15, 2022, 09:46:17 PM
Just curious about that last statement, it's a different division, right? not sure about that ticket to call for a rematch against Bivol, he can ask for it and wait for Bivol camp's to accept it, but there's no relation if ever he wins against GGG aside from the hypes and social media exposures. It's in a different division and I'm sure Canelo sign it up to bring more money on his payroll.

Actually, if Canelo will lose against GGG, there's no way Bivol will accept the rematch.

Canelo needs to hype himself again to catch the attention of Bivol.

Bivol makes it clear already that he is not interested in Canelo anymore. He wants to fight other champions and add belts to his possession. That's why a win against GGG in this trilogy is a must-win for Canelo or else, say goodbye now for a rematch against Bivol.

You are correct. The fight between GGG and Bivol is on a different division but Canelo still wants to move up weight and he should pass Bivol first but the latter is not interested anymore. The task now for Canelo is to bring more wins as much as possible.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 15, 2022, 09:38:31 PM
I watch a portion of this game and I see both Aguilar and C.Stand inside with Thompson, Pringle and Tenorio. If all of them continue being healthy, I can agree to you that they are still a good competitor this season, Though SMB also have that good blends of players, the possibilities to see this two teams either in the semis or in the finals is more likely to happen.

Congrats to all the fans who bet for the Gin kings, enjoy your profits more beers to share! Roll Eyes Cool

Gin Kings' Moneyline odds for that game if I remember is just around 1.6 that's why I hesitate to place a bet as sometimes early games in the conference are not taken seriously. But profit is profit and congratulations to bettors that take that risk as Ginebra is really the favorite to win that game.

I agree with you that this team has always had a chance to meet in the Semis or Finals. They are some of the dominant teams in the All-Filipino Cup but I'm expecting Converge to rise and shine this conference. They already showing some potential in their early games.

Converge and Terrafirma is my team on watch outside SMC and MVP teams.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 14, 2022, 09:59:11 PM
I am not saying that there is a zero chance they would make it to finals again, but it would be very difficult, so why risk it when you can do it now? Just win 2 more games and you are done, then you can just relax, sit back, and enjoy the rest of your career.

Easier said and done. Do you think Boston Celtics are not doing their best to win and don't like to take the opportunity to become the NBA Champion this year?

It's easy to say that they have to JUST win 2 games and that's it, disregarding the fact that the Golden State is a tough team to beat. They are against a team that has several NBA titles already. I know it's not a reason at all why the Celtics should not win against this team but the ball is round and both teams are doing their best to win.

Let's wait for the result of the Finals. If ever the Celtics will lose the series, it doesn't mean they are not at their best.
