As the title states, I am looking for ANACS yellow slab of either the 2011 S1 "error" or the S2, graded MS68 or higher. Not interested in any other coins or any lower grades. Shoot me a PM with pictures (written name included to help authenticate) and asking price.  Smiley
4  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Epic Casascius Set on: January 29, 2020, 04:34:12 AM
An update: I've decided to put these back into the vault for at least a year or two as the sentimental value is currently > market value. Appreciate all of the interest!

As an aside, if anyone has an ANACS yellow slab 2011 brass S1 "error" or S2 graded MS68 or above send me a PM.  Grin

OP, would you change your inbox settings to allow me to message you? I have low post count.

“Other Swag from the documentary” .. casascius stuff or just random swag?

Amazing set! If you ever need a kidney let me know, I’ve got an extra up for trade  Cheesy

The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin swag so crypto related but not Casascius. Hopefully I don't need a kidney anytime soon but will keep that in mind  Grin

Wow you have the 3 of the 6 most rarest Casuscius crypto coins in your arsenal. Bravo.

Just curios how much each of the following could cost  if someone is interested. Are you going to auction these or you want fixed money for each coin?

- 2011 S1 Error: MS67
- 2013 "Void Coin"
- 2014 St. Petersburg Bowl: MS69 DCAM

Please take close pictures. It is hard to tell  which is error, void or Petersburg,

Thank you! Haven't really considered what price I would sell them individually for yet. The error isn't all that rare but the other two don't have many public sales so hard to put a price on it. Anyone looking for a complete set will definitely want them though  Wink

Pay no attention to this..... as they are not the 3 rarest in the collection.  This user is VERY lost and VERY confused about anything crypto related.

Beautiful set!!  Good luck with your sale.

Thank you! No harm done, always happy to hear from passionate collectors  Smiley

That's spectacular set. Shocked
May i know where i could buy or make the wooden box.i want to get one box to keep my coin.

Much appreciated  Grin

I forget where I originally purchased them from but here is a link to the same kind of box. I have nice glass top ones but these have been great for storage.

Happy New Year! Picture bump for those who requested one via PM. Not looking to split up the set currently for those who asked. If that changes in the future I will let you know. Anyone interested in purchasing the set shoot me a PM  Smiley

9  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] SF Blockchain Week Coin on: September 30, 2019, 04:24:36 PM
So you disappear for a year and come back with the same coin.....

And how come you never sold them at the time?

Are you going to honor reservations from last year?

Yeah life got busy and did not get a chance to collect funds and ship them out. Planning a 5k person conference for the first time with only 5 people on the organizing team was quite the learning experience.

I will honor reservations from last year for the old coin. I'll DM everyone from the old list. Also to clarify, there are two different coins here, last years and the new one which provides access to 2019 and 2020 blockchain week.

400$ for a coin ? That's insane to anybody NOT planning, or near, this convention. What does the coin REALLY get you? Tongue

Yeah I agree, if you don't plan to attend the event I wouldn't purchase this set. If you do, the coin is cheaper than buying a ticket alone for this year, let alone free access to next year too.
10  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Set on: September 30, 2019, 01:12:18 AM
Aren't the 0.5 silver s2's some of the rarest at a mintage of 47? (if I remember correctly)

Also what's a
Quote
2013 0.5 S1 1 BTC: MS70

Only 45 of them, and I think there are only 1-2 that have graded higher  Smiley

And I fixed the series 1 silver half description, not sure why I included 1btc, good catch!
11  Economy / Collectibles / Epic Casascius Set on: September 29, 2019, 06:33:40 PM
Hi everyone! So I recently received an offer for my Casascius set. I hadn't really considered selling but with the current offer I am potentially open to it. Wanted to start a thread here to see if there is any additional interest before making a decision either way. Not really interested in splitting up the set unless all coins have interested buyers. All of these are yellow ANACS slabs and many of them are featured in the Encyclopedia of Physical Crypto. Would fly buyer out or fly to meet buyer for any potential sale. Lots of small swag I can include but the main set info:

Brass:

2011 S1 Error: MS67
2011 S2: MS67
2012: MS69
2013 "Void Coin": MS66 (With signed CoA from Nick Mross, director of Rise and Rise of Bitcoin. Comes with pictures of them holding the coins with Mike and other swag from the documentary)
2013 1 BTC: MS69
2013 0.5 BTC: MS69

Silver:

2013 Silver 1 BTC: MS70
2013 Gilt 1 BTC: MS70
2013 0.5 S1: MS70
2013 0.5 S2: MS68
2013 0.1 BTC: MS70
2014 St. Petersburg Bowl: MS69 DCAM

Bitnickel:

2012 S1 5 BTC: MS67
2012 S2 5 BTC: MS68

25 BTC S1 and S2: peeled (great condition, holo intact)
10 BTC Gilt silver: peeled (great condition, holo intact)
Anodized aluminum coins, all 6 colors

Feel free to post or PM any questions or comments  Smiley
12  Economy / Collectibles / [WTS] SF Blockchain Week Coin on: September 29, 2019, 06:13:47 PM
Hi everyone! Planning for SFblockchainweek.io is ramping up once again and we have decided to create another custom coin for the event. 210 coins were made total but only the first 50 are pure silver and numbered.

The price for these is $400 shipped and owning one will give you access to all of the events during SF Blockchain Week this year as well as next! I also have coins from last year available and will include one for free with any purchase (let me know if you would like a matching number). Both coins are 1oz silver, will come with a custom wooden box, and a tamper evident holo sticker. These will be sold here for one week and then auctioned off through SFBW social media.

Just to respond to the comments above, we are donating 50% of the profits from the conference to charities including Brian Armstrong’s. If you have any recommendations for charities that deserve support please let me know as we are compiling a list.

This event is for the community, by the community. I personally fronted a significant amount of money to make this whole thing happen and we are giving most conference tickets away for free to any developers or students who apply. For those who are not developers or students  the cost is $1-200. We are offering boot camps, workshops, and numerous other educational events for four days to help educate anyone who wishes to attend rather than most conferences that charge $1000+ and offer very little in the way of educating. We refuse to take money from questionable projects who just want to speak to shill their projects and prioritize quality of content and speakers over everting.

I assure you this is not a greed driven event. My goal for this event is to break even and that is why I am pricing the coin how it is. Like I stated before the rest are being gifted to speakers and sponsors who helped make this event happen so they will not be sold. I totally respect if the price is too high for some. Hopefully that provides some clarity into the logic behind this.  I will wait 24 hours before changing reservations, let me know before then if you change your mind, otherwise I will give the spots to those who posted or PM’d.

Are these associated with your Blockchain at Berkeley club?
Or is this something separate?

Blockchain at Berkeley is supporting the event, you can see their logo under Community Partners. I still actively advise the club. I have been in talks with them about possibly making another B@B coin.  Grin

Are these DIY or are you going to key them up with some kind of token address?

These are DIY but I've had a few individuals ask me to create a key pair for them. If you want to trust me I can do that for you, I would recommend generating the keys yourself though as that would be the security best practice. I can share a few links that help if you've never done it before.
19  Economy / Collectibles / San Francisco Blockchain Week Coin on: September 05, 2018, 08:01:54 PM
Hey everyone, my team and I are getting ready to host sfblockchainweek.io. We will be creating coins that will be given out to speakers including Vitalik, Charlie Lee, Naval, Balaji, Joseph Poon and numerous other titans in the space. There will only be 300 of these coins made, all of them but 38 will be given to speakers and sponsors at the event.

These coins will be numbered and we will be selling numbers 2-40 (not numbers 1 and 10) for $250 each. I will be offering them here for one week and then offer them to the broader community. These will be 1oz silver coins. Please post or PM if interested!

A note: I am accepting reservations for coins on first come first serve basis. I will NOT be collecting any funds before the coins/holos are in hand so please do not send money to anyone before I post final photos here.
