Hello,

Thank you, and found the answers I was looking for.
3  Economy / Services / Hiring for wallet setup on: March 14, 2022, 11:57:22 PM
We have been designing a site to take bitcoin for payment, and we have a bitcoin-client wallet working very well using testnet.

We want to accept many other currencies; however, our knowledge base lacks this expertise. All currency API calls must be run internally from our server and not from an outside source.

We want to hire someone to help set up this ability. Preferably someone on the west coast of the USA.

Not sure if this is where to post, and if not, please advise otherwise.

I just look at their site, they are charging nearly 5% fee on an exchange.
6  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ZERO Confirmations after 48 Hours on: February 24, 2017, 02:02:32 PM
Upon waking up this AM, the transaction now has 2 confirmations.

All your replies were great, and thank you to everyone.
7  Economy / Marketplace / ZERO Confirmations after 48 Hours on: February 24, 2017, 06:12:09 AM
I sent .1 BTC to a friend with a 0.001 Transaction Fee on 21 Feb 2017 (48 hours ago).

I never had a transaction confirmation take this long?  I looked on blockchain.info and it shows Zero confirmation on my address and then receivers address.

Is this something I should be concerned about, or just keep waiting?  Is there anything I can do.

Thanks
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Flights for Bitcoin on: February 16, 2017, 01:20:30 PM
Expedia also accepts bitcoin and should have flights to anywhere in the world.

FYI, we're partnered with Expedia (and with Cheapair) to offer cashback savings next time you book with them through our site:

https://www.coinrebates.com/store/expedia
https://www.coinrebates.com/store/cheapaircom

Well that's cool for the principle but...
Seriously? 1$ per flights? xD
That's not really what I would call cashback xDDDD

The others promotions are cool though, I'll bookmark you in case I need to book an Hotel or something like that Smiley

$1 back on flights, might not seem like much, but most booking agents make only $5 on the booking, so it's 20% of their profit.
This amount was set by airlines some years back.

Hello IanQuinn, Yes We will charge, no problem

Why would anyone order from you with a jackass answer like that?

I was asking a valid question on pricing is all.
10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Viagra, Levitra, Cialis, Meldonium and other products on: January 27, 2017, 12:14:08 PM
Do you carry AC&C 200 tablets?  I know the pricing of these as well, just wondering what you charge.
11  Bitcoin / Mining / Mining Power By Country or Area on: January 20, 2017, 03:32:15 AM
I am doing research and trying to find how much mining power is being used by a country or even continent, without much success.  I have fund overall power consumption, but not broken down to the level I desire.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
12  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: EBang 14nm 6.3T (140W/T) BTC Miner for sale soon on: December 09, 2016, 02:55:56 PM
Did an inquiry with Ebit about the 0.15 J/Gh on their ASIC.  Their reply to me was our machines do not use ASIC chips, kind of a scary reply.

What am I not understanding?  I thought you could only have a successful miner using ASIC, unless they are not mining Bitcoin.

Can someone help me out here?
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTCPOP a scam? on: June 05, 2016, 03:24:27 PM
OK, I been monitoring BTCPOP for the last five days, since crazyivan last post.

BTCPOP are having constant withdrawal problems, and today's posts:

"i am depositing a little so hopefully that will help with some withdrawlas" by MRBONG411

and

"wd's are proccessed from incomming deposits... the manual refills of hot wallet are missing but its sunday..." by casimir1904 (who claims to own 13%+ of BTCPOP)

Why do other members need to deposit so someone else can withdraw?
Is this because they are doing what Full Tilt Poker did, and use members monies for their own personal use.

Going to quote another member..

BTCPOP is a site that has transactions happening all the time, why do they not have full time support.  Why does the owner of this site treat it like a job?  If you are a owner of a site, you do everything you can, all the time.  You lose sleep, hair, and your life to bring this child (site) to maturity, not a 9 to 5 job.

Having issues over the weekend is absolutely no way to run a company, unless you don't give a sh*t about it, and just trying to scam people out of their money.  IMHO, Lee Bartholomew is untrustworthy with these continuous problems (let alone our Bitcoin), and now am questioning the motives of casimir1904 as he always support Mr. Bartholomew.

Seriously, look at chat yourselves for a day or two, you will see all the issues that are not being address in a timely matter.

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTCPOP a scam? on: May 27, 2016, 05:59:15 AM
There are many that can not withdraw funds the past several days.  They stated the hot wallet was drained.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is BTCPOP a scam? on: May 24, 2016, 11:13:01 PM
Looking into what was stated, I think it was wrong stating loans.

The owner has Mayhem Live (MHL) on shares, and trying to sell BTC350, also has two others AVD and POP which when you click on IPO just go back to the dashboard.  This behavior does seem a little dishonest by not revealing how many shares are out standing.

BTCS loses money every quarter, yet the administration seems fit to pay themselves 4.7 times their income.

Here is the latest filing: Yahoo Finance
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: A few questions about bitcoin transactions on: May 16, 2016, 12:07:08 AM
Thank you for your reply.

We are trying to use transaction id as an RNG, from funds sent.  So want to know if someone can manipulated the results of a transaction.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / A few questions about bitcoin transactions on: May 15, 2016, 11:47:57 PM
Are bitcoin transactions guaranteed unique?
Can they be manipulated?
Can you determine in advance a transaction Id?

Been reading bitcoinwiki on Transaction, but could not find the answer we are looking for.

With the extensive knowledge base here on this forum, these should be simple questions.

If there are better documents to view, this would be helpful also.
20  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have 3 Million USD to invest into Crypto Currency - How should I do it? on: May 08, 2016, 10:18:49 PM
if OP really has 3M to invest then invest in me. I will grow your capital and provide all the details you need to sustain a business and grow your profits daily. You could get into mining simple enough but need a good amount of equipment you could trade you could both then theirs a lot of other things am nothing going to talk here. If you are serious about how to invest then contact me by PM and can arrange for a time and date to speak over phone or via Skype and make arrangements. If not then so be it then just another useless thread that pops up like many others asking for advise and no doing anything about it or never had funds to begin.
This thread was created 2 years ago...  I don't know if the OP is still watching it or not.
