2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinect.com (ICO) - The Master of Illusions and Misleading Advertising on: June 20, 2018, 11:40:23 PM
I think the focus of every scam exposing thread is on me.
You're in the focus of those you were advertising/managing a campaign for. I think that's reasoned, since you have been connected to those.
I didn't see you being brought up in a scam accusation you were not involved with the project being accused.

Instead of finding ways to prevent scam ICOs just neg rate their manager. But will it stop scam ICOs?
Holding managers responsible forces them to research what they are advertising for.
Should they during that research find out the project that contacted them is a scam, they can start a scam accusation themselves, thus stop the scam ICO very early.
(ideally before a bounty is started/funds are being collected)
I do think that would help, yes.
When did I say managers should not take this responsibility. All I am trying to say that once a scam ICO is exposed, and IF a manager is ready to co-operate,we should not put all blame on him and keep posting threads one after other against him to an extent that even a scam thread against ICO (like this one) turns into manager bashing thread.I take full responsibility for not doing in depth research before accepting some bounty campaigns.

I never bump any thread but I feel it is my responsibility to keep bounty participants updated thats why I post on those threads.
And it's also your responsibility to start new bounty threads while being banned?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4492377.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4477491.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4462726.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4453171.0

There might be more, those are only the ones since June 10th (I assume WBP has been banned in the first week of June, correct?)

Why post ANN threads on behalf of others while your WBP account is banned? Someone else (who is currently not banned) could have posted that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4457817.0

If you were only evading the ban for the sake of keeping already started bounties updated and doing the right thing for your current participants,
then why accept new offers and start new threads while you are banned? You could simply refuse the position, saying that you are currently unable to start new campaigns/accept management positions.

Please also note I created Wapinter bounty portal account after one of my friend posted this on my behalf https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3603094
Who are the people that have shared access to WBP? What reason did it get banned for, and who was the one in control of the account that caused the ban?

Question for the moderator that eventually reads this thread:
How are ban evasions handled with shared accounts. In a regular ban scenario, a user is banned (as a person) and thus all their accounts are banned.
If an account with shared access from users X gets banned, are all users affected by this ban, or is just the user that caused the ban (thus violated forum rules) banned together with their shared account.
If so, how is it determined which user is affected by/included in the ban.

tl;dr: Does Wapinter get a free pass to evade their ban here due to the fact they gave access to their bounty account to other users or are they held responsible for the actions made in their name?

Wapinter is my personal account that I never share with anyone. My other account is shared one and I created it after i was allowed by forum moderators

I think the focus of every scam exposing thread is on me. In this post, the user Wapinter admits they are in control of the two accounts btvGainer and Wapinter Bounty Portal.
They also admit they never sold/bought any accounts, which would mean that they have always been in control of those accounts.

I only own 2 other accounts besides this one.Btvgainer and Wapinter bounty portal.I am not involved in account selling.I still own all my accounts.

Furthermore, they also admit that WBP is currently banned (for 30 days, apparently). They admit that the ban is not yet lifted and still active.

I promptly lock the thread as soon as I learnt that a campaign I am managing is dubious. Unfortunatly xeonframe was posted by Wapinter bounty portal which is not available due to ban for 30 days hence I can not lock the thread but I am deleting the forms and posting this info in spreadsheet too.

Combining #1 and #2, they openly admit to be evading the ban on WBP with their alt account Wapinter, which they use to manage/bump the bounty threads posted by (the currently banned) WBP.

Wapinter Bounty Portal: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2094446 [account is currently banned]
Wapinter: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=527272 [account is active, evading ban on WBP]
btvGainer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=550869 [account is inactive, no ban evasion]
I never bump any thread but I feel it is my responsibility to keep bounty participants updated thats why I post on those threads. Please also note I created Wapinter bounty portal account after one of my friend posted this on my behalf https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3603094

With the escrow option being added soon, I am willing to participate in this campaign, but I have a doubt. What do you mean by posting in at least 7 sections of the forum? I usually tend to post in the altcoin cryptocurrency discussion section of the forum which means I primarily post in 1 section of this forum. Can you elaborate on this?
Your majority number of posts may be in one section but not all.At least 1 post must be in different section too
I understand. I tend to post mostly in the altcoin cryptocurrency discussion sections and sometimes in the Bitcoin discussion section. Will posting in both these sections be enough for this particular campaign?
Yes
9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wapinter related with Scam? Why he repeat to promote ICO with fake team ? on: June 20, 2018, 07:46:18 PM
<snip>
I don't think campaign managers have a duty to research the project in as much depth as you suggest.  They're just taking on a job, and when any of us apply for a job we usually assume good faith on the part of the employer.  It also assumes the manager is capable of and has the time to delve into detective work.  I think what you're saying shifts the blame way too much onto the campaign manager's shoulders.  What if there's a critical detail that the manager misses?

If a project turns out to be a scam, and they're in the middle of running a campaign, I think it's enough for a manager to do as Yahoo62278 just did and end the campaign.  Basically it comes down to the question of whether we're assuming a project is a scam until proven otherwise or legitimate until proven to be a scam.  There have been enough scams such that we probably ought to be assuming all ICOs are, but I don't think it's a campaign manager's duty to expose them before taking on the job of manager.
I couldn't have put it better myself :claps:

Why blaming me for the scam ICOs?Am I not co operating with anyone who reports a scam ICO?I immediately lock their threads. For the past few days I am being constantly targetted on this forum.I have publicly expressed my willingness to help fight these scam ICOs.I suggested we should have a group of members who do research before ICOs are allowed to post their ANN and bounty.I accept I made a wrong choice in megatron and xeonframe case but I was not a part of them.My fault I didnt do proper research before accepting these bounties but I locked their threads immediately as soon as I learnt about them.Lets fight these scam ICOs together.I assure everyone that I will be more vigilant in accepting the bounty campaigns from now on.
So what are you waiting with this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4424486.msg39469371#msg39469371  ?
10 levels depth referral pyramid, 40% promised monthly return(without fully tested product), photoshopped team member, advisor which is not advising project, coinect company not registered anywhere in UK.
It didn't cross your mind that this project is maybe....scam?
Coinect team has asked me to give them 24 hours to post their reply.Shouldn't we give them a chance to clear our doubts? If they fail,I will waste no more time and Lock their thread.I am thankful to all members, including you, who brought this to my notice.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔺[BOUNTY] KONIOS - The Biggest Bitcoin Paid Bounty Campaign!(Conditional) on: June 18, 2018, 11:22:03 PM
Are there a minimum 30k followers for Twitter accounts?

Did I understand it well, participants will be paid only if Konios reach the hard cap? Otherwise, there is nothing of payments?

No reaching hard cap is not a condition for payment. They will pay 1% of the total raised funds of the ICO.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔺[BOUNTY] KONIOS - The Biggest Bitcoin Paid Bounty Campaign Sofar! on: June 18, 2018, 11:04:31 PM
So basically someone with a Senior account can get 50 stakes per week and someone with twitter can get at least 250 stakes per week? How this is fair to signature participants?

There are always less participants in signature campaign than twitter campaign.A stake in signature campaign will give more more btc than in twitter campaign.
If I understood well,1% of the funds raised will be paid after the ico in BTC?Because I see that you are asking for an ETH address and not BTC.Otherwise you needto move this thread to altcoin section.
Regards

Sorry I have edited the form  Smiley

I request forum staff to please guide me.If this belongs to Altcoin section, then it should be moved there.[/b]
At the bottom left side there is "Move Topic" Button. You can do it on your own.
Payment will be in btc.I doubt it will be allowed in Alt coin section
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵🔺[BOUNTY] KONIOS - The Biggest Bitcoin Paid Bounty Campaign Sofar! on: June 18, 2018, 10:50:10 PM

1.The title is very misleading. How it can be the biggest bitcoin paid campaign when there are clearly 'risks involved'?

Yes but we have made it clear that this involved risk but if it hit the hard cap, this is going to be the biggest campaign

2.Successfully raising the soft cap is a good news but it doesn't guarantee that they will be able to reach the hard-cap for whatever reasons.

I agree that there is no guarantee that hard cap will be reached but even if hard cap is not reached, bounty will be paid from whatever amount they raise during ICO

3.You are ban evading and promoting shady projects with false information as this one.
I request you to edit the title and move this thread to Alt-coin bounties or something. There is no bitcoin involved right now and doesn't guarantee it ever will be.

I can edit the title but I don't think Alt-coin section would be the right place for this.I request forum staff to please guide me.If this belongs to Altcoin section, then it should be moved there.
