It happens once in a while as the concept of using cryptocurrencies is still in its infancy. But I think it will happen less and less as it gets more mainstream and accepted by society at large.
it is really helpful for the traders who are looking for the short term profit. at the time of this type of panic people who are regular trader buy at low price and sold when the panic solve. it has also a drawback for short term traders who have invested in it before panic but for long term it doesn't really matters. |

Would you accept as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?
For me yes I will accept because we can exchange it in our local currency.
for me, I will not receive a salary for my salary. because the exchange rate sometimes goes up sometimes down. i think salary as a bitcoin has benefit and drawbacks both. i think it i beneficial if you need just to invest and also when the crypto market goes down and also when the price of the bitcoin is low and you have to invest and wait for the price to goes high in this case it is benificial but if you have to use it one daily basis it's not then because you have to gave a huge transaction fee whenever you have to transect. |

There are so many ways of earning but a few include trading and marketing, bounty campaigns, mining amongst others.
there are uncountable ways of earning which we can't even imagine but all we need to look for the best ones of earning. i think the best ways for me is trading and mining of bitcoin. these are permanent ways and you are not dependent on anyone. gambling is not for all. it is just like a specific sports someone is better player and someone not. |

How can you earn 40 dollars a day in bitcoin?? , let's share the knowledge on this topic , and hopefully we get more success after share my experience in here
My friend says mining is thebbest way to earn bitcoin everyday but its hard to know all about mining so thats why im joing in some signature campaign becuase i knw that signature campaign is good way to earn btc for now. Honestly, mining is gone for small investor, if you do not have a huge amount of money, you do not need to reseach about mining, because it only makes you waste your time and the profit is very bad. Today, you can try trade cryptocurrencies, this field better than mining and it does not need you have a lot of money. mining is not so bad. it just need some effort in the beginning to start and then it is easy way to earn but it also depends upon the resources of your country like in some countries the electricity charges are very high and mining is not so, profitable but countries like china , japan it is very profitable that's why a huge number of mining is have been done there. |

Hi all,
I'm new to the crypto space. I played professional poker for the past many years and thinking about trying out trading cryptos. However, I am skeptical from a game theoretic point of view as to whether I can gain an edge.
In poker part of your edge comes from knowing who your opponents are. With that information you can select your opposition to a certain degree, thereby increasing your edge. In the world of trading this is not really possible. I guess maybe some exchanges will have softer competition than others but you don't know exactly who you're trading with (amateurs or pros).
From what I understand the main skills needed is to predict trends and understand the potential of the new technologies popping up. On a micro-level that would translate to:
a) Being first at receiving market news and understanding how they will affect certain coins and the market as a whole.
b) Understanding market dynamics including being able to use a variety of charts to identify possible patterns.
c) Have a technical understanding of the technologies behind the different coins and thereby being able to estimate their potential.
1) Am I missing some?
2) How would you weigh these skill sets?
3) Is it possible to gain an edge without much technical knowledge?
4) Someone told me around 1 in 10 traders are able to beat the market. Not sure where he has the number from though or if was on the stock or crypto market. Has anyone heard a similar or different number?
Lastly if anyone can link to previous best threads on:
- Best books for learning trading.
- Trading strategies in general
Sorry if this post comes off messy. I still have a bunch of questions but I'm gonna cut it short here and save the rest for a different post.
There is no short cuts in the crypto market, you get to earn or profit from the decisions you have taken or made. If you made the right decision, fine that ends in a profit, if it’s the wrong one then its going to screw you. exactly there is no shortcut to be millionare or get extremely high profit. even in trading you should be enough capable to invest in the good quality coin and for this you should be good enough to identify that because there are many spam coins and ico's in the market in which newcomers invest and get loss. |

Better investment long term is Bitcoin since there will only ever be 21 million, whereas altcoins you have unlimited supplies and it's used for speculation. BTC is sound money.
both for me i have investment in both right now but keep in mind that altcoin you choose for that purpose should have to be secure investment and have enough room to rise. i have investment in coin like "neo " , "litecoin" , "dash" and some in coin like ark and nexus i have enough believe in them for the long term they will be good enough to give high profit in the future. |

You can do is buy when it is in a low price and wait maybe 6-12 months before you sell it again.
anyone who have the same question right now have to buy now and fill his bags as much as it can because some of the chinese exchanges are trading it at very low price and it is best to exchange usd into chinese yen and then exchange it because it is expected that it will rise its price upto $4500 to $5000 after 30th september and it will be very profitable. |

you should try local bitcoin i think there will be any one from your country who is doing trading and exchanging bitcoin from your local currency. otherwise there is no direct way to exchange bitcoin from your local currency. you have to exchange it into USD using paypal or pioneer and than do it through different exchanges.

Yes because not every day you will earn here. And it's not stable here is that bitcoins will fall and of course the Altcoins are down. So you should be able to focus on it and you will not be neglected because of a bit of falling your bitcoins and you're losing. So if you are planning to get into trading you really need a lot of patience and understanding. And of course knowledge so you do not fool
exactly not every day is yours and not every day you earn here but if you not earn any time you will learn and next time it will help you to do better decision in the term of trading. trading is no doubt an unpredictable job but the choice of coin really matters which comes with experience. |

I know how to be like you, having those doubts on when or where to start. Because we all do passed that newbie paths. So basically the first thing you must do is research about what coin is less risky and has big potential to profit. Second don't rushed anything and take it slow or you might make mistakes. Lastly be a man, don't be a weak hands like others who has tendency to panicked and in the end loss. the only tip to be a successful traders is according to me is that do mistakes and then learn with your mistakes. i think no one can teach you trading and any kind of ethics of business. you have to learn it from your self by doing it and by making mistakes. i think all the successful traders have enough experience of doing all those mistakes before reaching that level. |

So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?
When I encountered loss in trading, I always telling myself that loss is normal in the trading. Because of the loss that I encountered, I have now many knowledge and I use it to generate more profit. anyone who is doing trading for usual basis he understand that the loss and profit are very common and you don't nee to do any thing with it. if you trade the coin for the long term then you should have to believe in your investment and your coin and just leave it or hold it. loss will be temperary and soon it will come back too its track. |

The safest advice would still be to hold everything in Bitcoin. I used to look and read about the different altcoins that were supposed to be the "Bitcoin Killer" but none of them came close to Bitcoin's adoption and community support. If you are a newbie and do not know what to do, buy Bitcoin and never let it go.
yeah exactly i think the best way right now is to buy bitcoin because there is expected rise in price in coming days and it is the safest investment right now but i also prefer some of the coin which are much lower right now and will rise with the rise of bitcoin. neo and litecoin is also good investment right now and coin like ark and nexus are good too along with comodo. |

this is not really crazy at the moment i think , bitcoin's price obviously will rising to at lesat 5000$ at the end of 2017  We see it touches $5000 even in just a moment so no doubt it will happen again. So I advice that everyone who wants to add some to their portfolio this is the best time to buy before it rises again as soon not everyone can't afford to buy. Always ride the train so you won't miss all the opportunities the lower trend is i think temporary and it is due to a chinese exchange which forbid the exchange of bitcoin for 30th september. right now i think it is the best time for the traders like me to fill their bags and save for the future because in the short time period it will go back to its previous price and soon it will touch $5000 so, wait and fill your bags right now for good profit. |

Crytpo exchanges accept .001btc so its a good start to practice your trading skills with that amount. I don't rush myself and study more and the highest amount that I put is only .002btc,
no matter how much you invested in it. you can start with 10$ but it depends upon trading skills and you mind to assume the price and prediction of the future. i am using bittrex for a long time and its transaction fee is 0.001 btc approximetly $4.5. in the beginning you will get loss and this will help you really much in the process to find good coin to invest. |

you are killlllling it.  1m aint that far away.. He predicted really well. at that time the price of the litecoin was really cheap and now it is approximetly $77 and he has obtained his target in no time. he predicted 50% and litecoin rise much more than 50% as he predicted. i think he has successfully achieved his target and those who invest in those coin following him are also benificial right now. |

both are beneficial and it is upto you and what you prefer to do. i think the investment in crypto is better for me because right now i am just 20 and i have take risk to build my future. there are some altcoin there which have enough potential that they will make you millionare if you invest a good amount in it and hold for a long.
