241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin up Altcoin down | what is your trading strategy? on: November 02, 2017, 01:44:07 PM
Bitcoin prices are getting more expensive and the price of altcoin is getting lower.
For you altcoin traders, I want to know how the strategy you are using in the current situation. Let's share the experience here.
Your answer is greatly appreciated.  Wink

My theory is simple i am just holding my altcoins and not at all watching the price as i know they are down more then 90%. Next week i am getting my payment then thinking of investing in them as i know when bitcoin correction will start all altcoin price will start to jump
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: November 01, 2017, 10:10:25 PM
Still, a long way to go, there is no way of relaxing for the Barcelona team. if they think that they are in a safe zone then they will face the same type of disaster as like Real Madrid. On the other hand, Real Madrid is facing a lot of difficulties which makes them very frustrated. If Real Madrid will not come back very soon then they will not win this title this year. whatever the case, Real Madrid will again this league title.

yeah, real madrid will trying so hard to win right now and Barcelona need to do that too

Both this big teams are running with bad performance., Real Madrid is running with more and loosing match against small team also. Barcelona are atleast able to draw the matches. I think still their are more surprises expected in the coming matches
243  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price point do you think BTC will become more stable? on: November 01, 2017, 10:06:59 PM
As everyone knows BTC goes through large fluctuations - do you think this will always be the case or we'll get to a price point where a sort of stabilisation will occur and fluctuations will calm down?

I dont see that the BTC price fluctuation will ever stabilize it as it is more trading and investment type better then currency. Until it dont get regularize by all country price fluctuation will always be their in BTC price
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: November 01, 2017, 02:49:59 PM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

I think the answer is quite simple that if we go with your thought that if all people stop buying bitcoin then automatically the price will fell away and the value will become zero, as who ever is holding will sell it in what ever rate it is so the fall will be very soon. But as everyone one knows that until their is a big bad news the bitcoin wont fall.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to buy? on: November 01, 2017, 02:47:56 PM
I can tell you the coins which i am holding it. I am holding ICN, PLBT, TIME, VSL and ICOB. This are coins which have good projects but as the market in correction mode to altcoin due to bitcoin price increase if you buy then you have to hold for longer period like minimum six months.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 31, 2017, 11:21:56 PM
It is quick money if they scam they don't have to work hard for legal money thats why they do it. They want fast money as soon as possible so they scam with it.

There a lot of scammers with bitcoin so you should be alert they want all of your coin.
I know a lot of my friends that got into scam business. Most of them are very stupid to the extent they believe that scam is not an evil thing. They always say that scamming is better than killing people, so that you should scam than kill.

But all these things are the same and is punishable by the law if you found getting involved in such. Most of them are hardened criminals and you just have to avoid them.
That's true enough but the issue about scamming is it's hard to trace who's person is doing the scam thing to others. We always check our phones or computers because of important emails and so on we have difficulties in people who send us many emails without any prior information for us. It is through advertisements that pops out suddenly and the rest becomes history if we convey with them. That's why people scam because they easily believe on something and if it is really catchy strategy.

What Op is telling is about the scammers but why this scammers are getting success is due to the greediness of the users who want to earn bitcoin very soon and become wealthier soon. That is the main reason why this scammers are getting success to scam the users. This is the main reason why scammers scam users as they are ready to get scammed by them.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: October 31, 2017, 11:18:28 PM
I think it is correct that Bitcoin is mainly used as investment option because due to the price fluctuation, it is only good for investment purpose but not good for becoming currency and competing with fiat currency.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “International Bitcoin Communities” Rejecting SegWit2x on: October 31, 2017, 11:13:06 PM
Mostly i think this is good decision taken by them to stop this hardfork because how many hardfork needed as the last one was failure even then trying to implement the 3rd one.
249  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: *SCAM AWARE* Stolen BTC fake Bitcoin Gold Claim on: October 31, 2017, 03:45:14 PM
Embarrassed I'm a Idiot!

**SCAM BEWARE** relation to: Twitter acc: @btcgpu Web page: https://www.getbtcgpu.org/ BTC Address: 1HShXYRKhLvzYz7AnwoNJSGC5wVjdTije4

P.s. This is what these stupid Hard Forks cause if it wasn't for stupid Bitcoin Gold this would never happen!

This are the result of being careless, if you have gone through this forum fully then you could have got information that this bitcoin gold is failure and still their is no wallet to support the btc to btg swap. so who ever is believing this hardfork and thinking of gaining the free coins then it is foolishness.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where do I place 100k? on: October 29, 2017, 08:16:42 PM
you should invest in bitcoin not in altcoins, when the bitcoin price will go up then the prices of altcoins will be dump, but if you want to invest in altcoin only invest a new altcoin that has a potential to increase. I prefer invest bitcoin because for me bitcoin is for long term investment.

What you said is perfect because i have also seen that what ever a good project other coins can have but their value will always swing and it will go down any time, but in BTC the price will always move up and it always have got value so when ever get chance just buy it dont see the price as the current price will be lower in the future.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 08:03:41 PM
So in the most countries, bitcoin is neither declared legal or illegal. In some it is declared illegal and some are actually allowing it and also promoting their own alts.
So what would a government needs to do to regulate bitcoin in the country? And how can a government actually benefit from legalizing bitcoin in the country? How can it actually support the economic system of the country.

The same situation is in my country, If they declare Bitcoin as Legal then they can get good income through Tax and trading commission. Apart from that their is service tax in my country for trading so they can gain that also.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Is Bitcoin Gambling Industry So Successful in the World? on: October 28, 2017, 11:53:05 PM
The main reason of it getting success is that the user dont have to give his identification details to gamble , you can just open the account and get access tothe account through bitcoin wallet address and just start gambling. Even the under age users are able to gamble so it got so much success.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: October 28, 2017, 08:19:11 PM
Live inplay bet, Ath Bilbao vs Barcelona - 77 min and score is 0-1 barcelona over 1.5 goal is good bet as their will be sure one goal and the odd is also good to bet.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in India on: October 28, 2017, 07:29:47 PM
It is nice to hear that the progress of bitcoin adoption in india is going in full force and the exchanges are getting heavy traffic of new users but until government dont give any clarification on bitcoin it cannot flourish more.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which bitcoin exchange do you use on: October 28, 2017, 07:21:31 PM
I use almost all exchanges as i use to participate in multi bounty campaign and earn free coins and according to the listing of that coins i have to trade in that exchange but i mostly trade bitcoin in bittrex, balance other exchanges i trade with altcoin which are listed in that exchange.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much do you get from airdrops - a review on: October 28, 2017, 02:09:17 PM
If you say about how much return you get in Airdrops then then i can say that i got high returns in Airdrop i participated in 12 months before which when listed got around 1.5 btc profit when sold. After that no other Airdrop is so good as when they get listed they are sold heavily and returns are very low.but today we can get good earning through bounty campaign where their are lot of option if you participate you get good returns.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides crypto, what would be the safest way to hold your money? on: October 28, 2017, 02:02:49 PM
Like most of ppl on this forum, I believe in the monetary crash to come and I want to take my savings out of the bank. I invested in about 7 different crypto already but only a certain amount that I can allow myself to loose in case of a crypto collapse. Not brave enough (or crazy) yet to put all my savings in crypto.
But I definitely want zero $ on my bank account soon, and I was wondering what would be the safest way to hold your money (buy lands, invest in gold, hide it under the bed, invest it a myriad of different businesses...). Thoughts?

Apart from Crypto world i am investing in Gold and real estate as this two investment are next big returns giving investment option, which are more safe and any time you can convert them to fiat currency in emergency.
258  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: October 28, 2017, 02:00:27 PM
In Belgium/Netherlands there are quite a number of online shops that accept bitcoin payments.
One of the biggest is takeaway.com where you can order food from shops/restaurants using BTC. The site also is active in France, Poland, Germany, Portugal,...

It shows that how much European country are taking Bitcoin in positive way and the users of that country are able to use bitcoin as fiat currency in the shops. Hope that very soon in Asia also Bitcoin gets a status to enjoy.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you sell the altcoins gained from bounty programs on: October 27, 2017, 08:39:33 PM
The very first point is as soon as i receive the bounty coins i just sell it because i know that it will surely get dumped and if the coin is worthy then i will buy back in low and hold for long term till my target get achieved.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: October 27, 2017, 08:36:17 PM
if money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? i think i can not gamble for me its for fun if i help me to lose stress in everyday will try is not bad but avoid being addict It is more fun to have money because you do not think so much if you lose a lot of money because you have money as long as we think that gambling is a recreation that you can. win and beat is not bad to try.
We need money to survive our life, that is why we will go to work and earn money. If money would not be a problem then why should we think about other things we can just enjoy our life. But there are many rich people become a poor people because of this gambling addiction so we should have control over our emotions.
I must say you are confident enough to stand with your foolish acts. How can you think that gambling can make your life full of fun? Don’t you realize that you are addict of it, unintentionally? Lose your money even you have set all the limits on you. Still there are losses within those limits and your fun is just making shoots. Wake up and see the things closely.
But i think still there are a number of people even in my area who are playing gambling regularly for more than 30 years and stilll they do not even regret for their gambling habits, but are really enjoying and getting fun from it. I think it is in your own hand that how you treat trading. If you are playing gambling in a wrong way they defiantly you will crate problem for yourself. but if you have certain limit for playing gambling and never try to exceed that limit. You play gambling for a specific amount of money, then it is for sure that you will enjoy gambling and will really get fun from it.

The reason for this thing is that, these people who are gambling for 30 years and not regreting every single cents they spend in gambling because they look at gambling as entertainment and for them it is natural to spend money since entertainment cost money.  Example is the games people are playing, many players spend money on these games and yet they do not regret it even once because they really enjoyed it same thing with gambling.
Right.I do not see gambling will give us bad effect if we only gamble for fun. It's part of our hectic schedule to have a recreation some time. But it will only end with that, not to the extent of losing bigger amount of money just to gamble. It's an addiction already. So much better if we go on gambling just bring small amount of money enough to pay,and if you win luckily, then go home right away, just celebrate with your family. In this way, gambling might be somehow profitable.

What you are telling is true but even knowing the result in some point you will start thinking of playing more. Like once you played and won and left it, same thing you are doing for some time once the style changes and you just sit to cover you loss and their it starts the habit and in the end you will see that you are in great loss. So it is better to leave the gambling and start some thing different gambling like gamble with virtual money site where the feeling will be same like playing real currency gambling only different is their you wont win money but their will be some rewards that you can win without loosing your fiat currency.
