Folow up after complete sync. This time was really fully synced..  I have my full complete balance now in wallet. As it looks like, xmr wasnt sent at the first place.. but the transaction was logged in history. Now after sync the problematic Tx disappeared. Thanks a lot for all the help and info guys!!!!! HODL |

I just downloaded full fresh blockchain data and the problem still persist. Coins were sent but not delivered.. Please help and i will pay some part of xmr for trouble Couldn't generate a proof because of the following reason:

It seems like you was not sync with Mainnet during transaction sending. Did you know about April 6 hardfork? If no, you have to read info about it, unwind your blockchain copy to any pre-April 6 date, and start sync with Mainnet using the latest tools found at https://getmonero.org/downloads/. No i didnt know about hardfork.. As far as i know, wallet was synced atm when i sent the funds, 2 days ago. I already installed and synced latest moner wallet gui. It shows transaction and the Prove/Check tool also show, that the coins arrived at the correct address. Over 1000 conf till now. Unwinding would help? Blockchain is 48GB in size and its packaged in 1 file, so i cant delete just some newer files/blocks. WTF... Could you post the full output of Show status (on the Settings page of the GUI)? I agree. XSPEC Spectre is very undervalued especially when you look at how many of the privacy coins have been rising. This might be the best one.
Why? Look at the Spectre website. Almost no data. I could do that site in 1 hour and i dont know html etc.. Guys, get some Lisk, Waves, Btc, Neo, Eth, Ltc, Eos and HOLD them and take small profits at peaks if needed. Thank me later |

Nice. I have 1050 emc2 coins from 2015, i think. Price was around 50-100 satoshi. Its nice to see some growth after long vegetation |

Impressive list you got there and I must say I am motivated by your feat! Right now I am looking at your trading portfolio and all I could think about is 2018. If I were you, I will sell all the coin that have brought me profit except leaving small amount of coin for those that I think may have some ups in price. I will just round off for the year if I were you!
Thanks, yes I have been fortunate and it has worked out quite well so far. Was a lot of work to be honest. The thing is many of my top profit coins are expecting 5X -10X or more in 2018......... Nothing worse than selling and chasing market back up trying to buy back in. Exactly!! Hold and smile folks |

NEVER EVER give or post private key (private address, sometime or usually a password, encryption for the wallet...) to anyone. Balance in wallet is just imaginary, coins are really on a blockchain and the private key is the only access to get to them.
Remember, you are your own bank in that case! If you have coins on Bittrex or Poloniex or any other online exchange, you basically dont own private keys and in worst case scenario (hack, shutdown, theft...) you will loose everything. ---> Best thing to do is to get Ledger Nano S (asap, right now it still unavailable..) cause it can store a lot of coins and also all tokens (Humaniq, Golem, Iconomi, Gnosis...) for Ethereum network and is the safest storage possible. Especially for that kind of money... And you dont need to download blockchain which is over 100GB for BTC and LTC combined. And there is at least 15GBGB or many more for Ethereum at the moment... No brainer to get the Nano S or similar capable hardware wallet.

Sorry if questions are not smart:-) ALL you need is wallet.dat file from each wallet folder. Wallet.dat file contains your addresses, balance, private and public keys. Just install latest btc and ltc wallet on your mac and import wallet.dat file to each folder. Do not mix or loose them!! If you loose wallet.dat, you loose everything!! Just save wallet.dat files to few usb sticks for backup, thats all you need! You can also transfer the blockhain files for fast/instant sync on newly installed wallets on Mac. Please google it: btc wallet.dat backup and how to import bootstrap file for more info |

How much time takes to arrive from one exchanger to another?
Lisk, Waves, Ripple and probably some more are faster tha Ethereum. They are lightning quick. |

So, in the last couple of months I have spread my portfolio to about 20 different tokens.
I am now looking for a hardware wallet to better secure them.
From what I read so far, the Ledger Nano S looks as the preferred choice, mostly for its support for multiple tokens (as opposed to Trezor's BTC only).
Seeing it's on backorder till late July, I was wondering if there are any other recommended hardware wallets?
Also, as my intention is to hodl for 5-10 years, should I consider using paper wallets, instead?
Any other security tips will be much appreciated.
At the moment, one and only Ledger Nano S. BUT its sold out and i think this will continue for some time. |
