121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the Masses on: January 04, 2024, 03:30:08 PM
Cryptocurrencies have come a long way since the early days of Bitcoin and we are the early adopters of this remarkable technology.  But still the mass hasn't adopted blockchain technology or Cryptocurrencies. So, As you think, How can we bridge the gap between mainstream adoption and the complexities of blockchain technology? Share your thoughts on making crypto more accessible to the general public
Why does everyone need blockchain technology? The whole world works on the banking system and does a great job with it, cryptocurrency and blockchain are just an additional technology for exchanging funds and information among users and it does not aim to capture the entire service market.
Who wants to use it, who doesn’t want to doesn’t use it all quite simple. According to my observations, more and more young people are interested in cryptocurrency because for them it is a fairly easy financial instrument that does not require a bunch of papers and various confirmations from the bank.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: January 04, 2024, 12:54:47 PM
I think its a lot harder when you are really in the actual situation, but if you really have that strong mentality to stop when its necessary is a very great weapon in gambling having it when winning and losing will help you a lot, and all gambler should have that kind of mindset.
This skill comes with experience. For beginners, it is always difficult to stop when you hit the first big jackpot because you still want to try your luck and increase your winnings. This is where the casino will be waiting for this player.
It’s very important to have your own plan and strategy for the game and understand when you need to stop. For me, it’s important to get pleasure from the game and, if you’re lucky, make a profit, if the game doesn’t go well, then you shouldn’t continue, most likely there’s a high probability of losing all your balance.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 03, 2024, 07:34:39 PM
Looks like 1 long year has passed, and we said goodbye to 2023 and entered the new year 2024. We are only waiting for 2024 for Bitcoin because this year is going to be one of the best year for Bitcoin. Where the block reward of Bitcoin will decrease from BTC6.25 to BTC3.125 and at that time we will see more demand for Bitcoin, and expect a gradual change in the Bitcoin market.
As Bitcoin halving is only 112 days away, we are looking forward to that time. All bitcoin investors only wait for bitcoin bull season. And the bull season usually starts after the halving as we know it, so I think there is a golden opportunity right now to just hodl Bitcoin.
All bitcoiners get ready to hodl your BTC success is waiting for you ahead.
We are here together mate , like you and many of us we are expecting a great increase in Bitcoin this year after Halving so basically we are tend to accumulate more and more before it happens .
like how we look at the market now as it falls badly again from 42k growing to 45k ? now turns back to 42k as it is the starting value so lets take this opportunity to buy and gather more before it grows higher that we cannot afford.
Those who have not yet managed to buy earlier should take advantage of the current adjustment. Perhaps the price will be even lower in the coming days because now the price is experiencing a little turbulence and it is not yet clear where it will stop.
Now is the best time to accumulate our reserves and be ready for the future halving. There is not much time left, approximately a little more than 3 months, and during this period a lot more can happen.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Kickstart January in style on: January 03, 2024, 03:39:22 PM
This could be part of the buy the rumor sell the news strategy. The approval is not happening yet. But it seems the rumor is strongly on the side of approval rather than rejection. Many are probably bullish because of this. Ads about Bitcoin are rising here and there. There are reasons to believe that institutional money is coming in soon. So it's wise to just start the buying now.

The difference this time is that they might not really sell the news because the upcoming halving will still have to be factored in. The season is bullish but there's a more bullish season to come.
I agree with your version. Many thought that the year would start only with good news and there would only be growth until spring, but the market is very unpredictable and today’s situation has once again proven that you should not believe rumors. I think now there will be a general adjustment in fixed assets on the market and later when it becomes clear that it will be possible to predict anything with the future etf.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 02, 2024, 10:01:48 PM

My question is :
Do you know the status of your health while gambling and what do you do if you happen to suffer a mild or hard stroke?

This is why I make it a point to open my messenger and have my loved one that I can contact in case, whenever I'm playing alone.

That is terrible, imagine after all those years you finally manage to win a jackpot only to suffer a medical emergency and not be able to enjoy your winnings anymore. As for my own health I don't think I am old enough yet to suffer such a serious issue. I am overnight and and don't exercise enough, so when I am older I should definitely keep an eye on my health. The excitement from gambling still feels fine and I enjoy it. My father had a stroke and I know it's terrible, you can see completely one half of the body to stop reacting. Luckily it was only a minor stroke and he gets the right medication now. If we know about our conditions then it's better to only gamble in small amounts and keep the excitement to a lower level.
I wish a quick recovery to your father! I also encountered a similar situation with my close friend, he quickly recovered and now even walks and talks. What can be said for sure is that we need to take care of our health from a young age and approach gambling seriously and take care of our nerves, I when I’m playing, trying not to be nervous and to have as much fun as possible, since that’s the goal of gambling.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2024 price prediction on: December 29, 2023, 11:17:25 PM
Forecasting the price is not a noble thing, of course, but I voted for the option above 70k. My expectations are based on halving, I believe that this event will soon be mentioned in all major media, which will give a good boost to the price and an influx of new investors. The current dynamics at the moment look positive, If no negative events occur over the next two months (for example, a hack of a large exchange, etc.), then such a scenario is quite possible.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 29, 2023, 10:08:59 PM
So the question again is: how many hours do you gamblers think are more appropriate to spend while gambling?
Good question! it all depends on the mood, but most often it takes up to an hour,I try to be disciplined in this aspect. The important rule for me is play, but don’t play too hard and don’t try to win back right away.
I have a monthly budget that I spend on gambling and, if possible, I play on weekends. But I don’t want it to take up all my free time, so I’m trying to control the time I spend playing, since playing for a long time can lead to more negative consequences, I speak only from my experience)
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins on: December 29, 2023, 06:02:18 PM
As we look forward to the anticipated bullrun come 2024, what altcoins are you holding and why do you think they will bring more returns compared to others?
What I know is that bitcoin is the mother of all coins, all altcoins are benchmarked against the price of bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin goes up almost all altcoins go up. From here we can judge that Bitcoin is an asset of the future, so I think you need to think again if you want to invest in altcoins.

There are indeed altcoins that have a future and will last a long time, eth, maybe you can add this altcoin to your basket besides bitcoin for long term investment, apart from eth, most of its future is unclear. So if you ask what coins you should own in 2024, there are only two choices, bitcoin and ethereum.
and you will be absolutely right. Alts can only bring profit over short distances since they are very dependent on news and events over time, interest in them disappears, take any meme token, they are not at their peak for long since the hype quickly passes, and Bitcoin continues its separate development despite a lot and in the long term it always brings more profit.
As for alts, I always have Ethereum in my portfolio since it has proven itself well in the market over the years.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: December 29, 2023, 05:30:40 PM
Many people think that investing in Bitcoin is a get-rich-quick strategy. And they invest in Bitcoin without fully knowing about Bitcoin. A kind of desperation works in them when they don't see quick cash after investment. They never want to try to understand bitcoin get rich slow scheme. Those who have minimal knowledge about Bitcoin must understand that investing in Bitcoin requires investment for a long period of time to get a decent profit. I think the impatient person can't expect much from Bitcoin investment. Only those who invest with patience and time have succeeded in Bitcoin investment
Now on YouTube there are hundreds of bloggers who offer to invest in crypto without knowledge and often promote quite strange things such as buying various memes and shitcoins, because of this, beginners get the impression that bitcoin and various tokens are the same thing and can be earned quickly and without unnecessary movements. But as we know, in 99% of cases this simply will not work. Only a general knowledge base, such as the operation of a wallet, network, and so on, will help a beginner understand the principle of how Bitcoin works.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2023, 11:31:43 PM
Hello everybody, how are you?

In this forum i am new and proud to be here as a member of this forum. Heard there is a lot of discussion about Bitcoin so I came to join here for my own needs. Hope you all will help me. I don't have a good idea about cryptocurrencies. I just know that investing in Bitcoin is extremely profitable. But I don't know how to do it. One of my acquaintance suggested me to invest some money in Bitcoin. I told him how many dollars to invest and he said as much as I am willing to invest. I made up my mind that I would invest $500 but i am confused. I don't know much about Bitcoin so the person gave me the link to this website and suggest me to know about the various opinions of users on various topics. Since I see that Bitcoin is always discussed , I want your suggestions about my Bitcoin investment.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

Hello! don’t rush into investing, start with the basics. First, you need to understand how the entire network works and how wallets work and what types there are. The second stage that awaits you is security, familiarize yourself with all possible ways to protect your funds. And the third thing is that you can’t just buy and earn money in two clicks, start with the basics and then maybe something will work out.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 28, 2023, 10:45:56 PM
if sports betting is not only luck, but requires analysis before deciding which pairs. for example, soccer requires analysis of the strength of the two teams. not just choose and only rely on luck.
Betting in sports is actually a little easier if you understand all the aspects that can be associated with a team, for example, what players will be there today and who the opponent’s team is. This knowledge is quite enough to determine who will win today, but you should not exclude moments of unpredictability of teams when the whole game may not go according to plan and the bet may not work.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 06:20:03 PM
Is it possible one can dodge KYC verification request after winning a big amount of money and decides not to withdraw a lump sum but bit by bit in smaller amounts. I have read many posts talking about how they wanted to withdraw the money they won but due to the amount they wanted to withdraw was big, they were asked  pass kyc verification because they never did when they first registered.
This will no longer make any sense since the casino knows that you have won a large amount and it will keep track of it. You can withdraw in parts, but not for long, since the protection will most likely work and subsequently you will have to undergo an identity check. I would go through kyc and wouldn’t worry if for some reason I didn’t want to go through my identity; there is always the opportunity to provide other documents (although this is not recommended) and always act only according to the principle specified in the casino rules.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 26, 2023, 05:09:27 PM
In the first place, I can't make gambling a full-time job, to be honest. Think before you win really big here; it will take a lot of money to make it happen if you are unlucky. It would be fine if you were sure that you would win every day.

As others have said in this section, the more a gambler plays for a long time and often at the casino, the higher the chances of the gambler becoming addicted. And this will be a big problem later, and it will be difficult to recover in this situation.
Yes, you are right that even for a strat you need a large amount to provide yourself with a budget for bets and games. It is also worth considering the likelihood of losses and how this will affect the overall budget and be prepared for any force majeure that may happen in life and of course the most important aspect is addiction, I think if games replace work then addiction to games simply cannot be avoided in the end .
I would not risk taking part in such an adventure, as I see more disadvantages.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 26, 2023, 04:17:17 PM
I think this depends on the casino, especially their rules, so when you go to gamble on a gambling website, check the terms and conditions of the casino website. But basically I think if there is a bug in the software of that casino website then the funds should be refunded but in this case you need to contact the support team to report it.
I also think a lot depends on the casino itself, if it is large and has a reputation then problems should not arise since they value their reputation and they do not need negative reviews that future players will read. And if this is a new site with a new casino, then I think there will be more risks that the problem will not be solved, so it is better to choose only proven sites with a long-term reputation and a large player base.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fear of December dump is fading away - for Bitcoin on: December 26, 2023, 01:08:46 PM
What's your opinion on current Bitcoin trend, will it continue the same way or we will go through the December nightmare once again?
I don’t think that there will be any strong changes, over this month the price has shown only stability and I personally don’t see any prerequisites for a decrease now. There are two high-profile events ahead that everyone has been discussing lately, and this may indicate that no one wants to sell, but are only strengthening their positions.
Until the halving, at least, I will only buy more and exit alts. So far, this is the plan.

137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting? on: December 23, 2023, 07:34:06 PM
Being a millionaire is not easy as you say,if you are already one, then you don't have to think your luck and other people's luck are thesame. So many persons started gambling or sport betting before you,but they are still at the level where they where when they first started.Sport betting is one game that I try to avoid now, because I have had so many loss ever since I started, although I know I'm trying so hard to stop it,but because it has become part of me,I still sometimes try my luck whether it will work for me or not,But when it doesn't work,I always feel discouraged, and lose the interest in playing it again. But if I was able to quit playing it forever,I would have been happy, because instead of it to be of financial help to me,it's taking away my money, and I'm not gaining it back.
Perhaps you need to take a break for at least six months, if you are experiencing problems with the fact that the first signs of addiction are appearing, it is better to save your nerves and money for a while. If you understand that you cannot stop, contact a specialist or talk to your friends and describe your problem to them. problem, maybe they can help you.
Don’t expect that you will pass the bet and one day win big money that can solve all your questions.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 23, 2023, 03:00:44 PM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?
Of course I read. Not everything, as there really is a lot of text, but the main points for me are the kyc policy, how it works and what documents they need, and the second point is in the jurisdiction of which country they work. I think it’s better to read everything in advance than to write later in support with the same questions, while wasting both your time and theirs.
I have a personal rule: everything related to money and where it is stored should be studied as much as possible so that there are no unpleasant surprises later.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Timely Halving Event and Bitcoin ETF a Positive Bombshell on: December 23, 2023, 10:58:43 AM
The increasing price of bitcoin is evident that as four years ago halving take place so same will happen in coming year and it extends surety about halving as a consequence of which the believe on bitcoin is proliferating more.

ETF approval will soon happen and it will put more positive impacts on bitcoin price because the effect of halving is so great so if fortunately ETF approval take place then may be we go ahead from 100k$.

People are accepting bitcoin more and more and everyone is in Struggle to accumulate money and invest it into bitcoin so if halving take place and soon the news about ETF approval arises then people in no time will become rich people if they have bought Bitcoin during right condition in right cost.
you are right that these two factors will only be beneficial. But the forecast of 100k per bitcoin looks very optimistic at the moment, this means that a lot of money needs to be pumped into the market and it will only be used to purchase the main coin. Now it is clear that many are accumulating their reserves are in the BTC and at the same moment it is interesting how the rest of the alta will react if the BTC grows.
We will find out very soon how the market will behave.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still appreciates the price of Bitcoin if it hasn't be your history price on: December 22, 2023, 04:22:34 PM
Can you make it a profited count if your present rate of value is lower than your past?
Most Bitcoin investors has been so excited and appreciating the current Bitcoin markets value since the approaches of the bullish runs while expecting the skyrocketing bull-runs.
So my question is... If Bitcoin price at this era would hit maybe $47K as it was in 2022 or $68K as 2021, I am sure investors would be appreciated about the level of volatily but would those who accumulated their Bitcoins and had experienced such values in the history count an appreciatable profit? Because I feels they should be expecting a higher price value so as to beat their experience price histories.
If I understand you correctly, I’ll try to answer.Everyone has their own investment plan, even if Bitcoin were 50k tomorrow, I won’t sell it because I expect the price to be higher. Just like now, the price is at its peak for the last period and someone is already clearly in a good profit and can sell right now, but there are those who have been suffering losses for a long time. The record is not coming soon, perhaps in the spring we will see something more than the old records.
