Hi all! What about support for RX550 on Lexa core?

Hi,
I have a question about DAG-fix (blockchain driver update)
I have miner with 5x rx 480 with offset -100mV in bios on RM 850W Corsair. It takes 700W at the wall,
will it be ok if I update ?
Or I should change PSU  ?
I think all be ok, but why my 4x RX580 with undervolt takes 750w from the wall.?

something is known about the support of the Vega in simpleminingOS?

Please write here feedback about 1-4 switches, it's very interest.
P.S. Where you are frome?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 12 GPU rig... but how??? on: June 02, 2017, 11:02:31 PM
@dimka890 Thanks! I will try with a bunch of 1070's I have on the way.

@NotFuzzyWarm sry... wrong board. Maybe a mod can move the thread? Thanks!
Some chinese sellers say that switches does not work with Nvidia GPUs, but if you can test it will be good. Unfortunatly i don't have any nvidia cards.
P.S. I saw at aliexpress switches 1-> 4 PCI-E, there is no mention of nvidia cards, maybe 1-> 4 switch will be work fine

In this discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1541084.msg19319534#msg19319534

There is an example and a tiny bit of talk about a rig that controls 12 GPUs

The idea is that the builder uses PCIe Switches for 9 of the cards and the other three are on board:

Using common MSI Z270-A Pro + Celeron G3900 + 4GB RAM +3 x PCI-E Switches (9 GPU's connected to switch and 3 GPU direct to motherboard). Power Subsystem - two HP common slot PSU 1200W + 160W Pico PSU (for motherboard and switches)
Sorry for bad photo and my English)

Does anyone have experience making the CPU / bios / whatever to detect 12... or maybe 18 GPU's?

TIA!
12 gpu under linux works fine! Somewhere read that with 12+ gpu in single motherboard you'll have troubles, but i make rackmount frame for rig and there 12 gpu optimal. At next week want to test 4 PCI-E switches in old motherboard (HP Pro 3130)

Hi, have little trouble with simplemining OS. I run 12 GPU in single motherboard and OS overclock only first 10 GPUs. How to fix it ? Thx

if you can sell by parts:
3BTC for 30 chips.

Hi! You sell chips whole or i can buy 20-30 chips?

Hi BKKCoins
Klondike k16 board design is ready(i want order few PCBs)? Which design is more preferable (qfn or not?)?
And about k1 (v 0.1) You said that it is better to replace 74AUP1G02GW with a 74AUP2G02, but in last update of BOM for K1 at github NOR Gate is 74AUP1G02GW.  Which is better to install?
Thank You!
QFN and SS both perform the same. It depends which one you can get. The SS ran out a while ago and there was QFN until just a day or two ago. It could be a while before they are easy to find again.

I haven't updated the K1 files yet. The new board revision will use the 2G02 but it's not pin compatible so you can't place that on the old board.

Here's a brief list of changes I'm doing for the K1:

- replace NOR gate with DUAL NOR gate
- add Schmitt inverter package
- chg PIC to QFN
- add thermistor for temperature sensing
- add 2 holes for mounting a heat sink
- Make both LEDs flashable (tied to PIC pins)
- make I2C non-thru hole SMD header type pads
- use 2mm board thickness for USB compatibility
- specify an alternate reg and inductor allowing 3A power (not for USB 2.0 ports)
I think i can fix klondike v0.1 (NOR Gate issue) using little add-on pcb. Place on it 100 Ohm resistor, footprint for 2G02, and conect it all, like in k16 schematic?. What about Schmitt inverter package? it is need? Maybe  also place it on add-on pcb?

Interestingly what will be the cost of the new 55nm chips?
