I don't know where they will go next but so far my 6 x GPU rigs with Radeon RX 570/580 are still making 0.0012 BTC daily each rig and this for me is still a good amount, if you like me will save at least 50% of the coins mined for a really long term. For the moment though the GPU-mining sector is in another boom stage, a RX 580 Sapphire Nitro+ Special Edition costs about 500 EURO here in Italy.

When Amazon and Ebay have high prices I always go and check local marketplaces in my country. You should do the same, I have managed to get GTX 1050 ti used for about 80 EUR which is a bargain I would say. I have no preference on cards, as long as it is cheap price and it can mine it is good for me, this I got a Gigabyte Windforce dual fan making 16 Mhash Ethereum at +800 memory.
For 400 USD I would go for the RX 570 8GB, it's 31 Mhash each and 140 watt because these are difficult to undervolt, sure the MSI afterburner says you have done it correctly but my wattmeter says otherwise.

Okay, Thank you ! I have recently found new Saphire RX 480 4 GB cards for only 290 EUR, do you thnik I should buy them (I know that they are 1 generation old) or should I wait for Nvidias next generation of GPU's? Sapphire RX 480 no matter 4 gb or 8 gb if modded properly the Bios they can do up to 29-30 Mhash so really a good price at 290 Euro. In Italy they cost about 400 now so I have fallen in love with RX 570 for 350-390 Euro.

Errors in the miner program, not in device manager
Bios configured Above 4 G enabled All slots set to Gen 1
4 PSU-s, linked in parallel, One PSU powering mobo and 3 cards, each other psu powering 3 cards. The configuration is correct as it works as a charm up to 7 cards, once I add 8-11 the Claymore miner starts to ask strange, haven't had much time to try with Nicehash maybe but I think would be the same.

I have a problem at my latest build which is an ASUS B250 Mining expert with 11 GPU-s from AMD, all Sapphire Pulse Rx 570 4GB bios modded and hashing at 29.4 Mhash each. The problem is until 7 GPU-s it mines fine without problems, the moment I add the 8th-11 GPU-s it shows error, it restarts miner because of 3 GPU with errors, I switch GPU-s errors again.
Bios updated, configuration of the Bios done correctly ( I have many other rigs with Biostar Pro 250 BTC running stable from months with same cards). This is becoming frustrating so I thought to ask here in the forum.
Windows 10, with Hive OS works great with 12 cards at 350 Mhash. Still not a Hive OS fun, I want to make it to work in Windows.
Any ideas ?

my power supply can handle more i have 850 gold and run 4 rx 560 and i have empty slot in my power supply with 8 pin and the rx 560 need 6 pin
any Suggestion
560 consumes about 60 watt or 75 max as far as I know, so you have about 350 watt free taking into consideration 500 watt you are consuming with your 4 GPU-s and the mobo and other parts. With 350 watt you have room up to a GTX 1070 ti if you want, or a RX 570/580 Sapphire Nitro+ 8GB. So fill it based on your budget.

The memory type of the card is micron. I also tried to modify the bios with polaris, but that didnt work either. Really stucked here.
Go and download some ready made bios from other persons for your specific cards and your specific memory. The website is Anorach Tech , search there and I am sure you can find a lot of already modified bios and I have seen this card doing easily 15 Mhash after the Bios mod without problems. Here is a link for you to check. https://anorak.tech/t/rx-560-4gb-on-ethereum/7493/269You have some bios modded for Hynix memory, but asking there for a micron mod should be easy, make sure to upload your original bios.

You are also buying wrong RAM. This board supports only DDR4 ram and 1600 Mhz is the speed of a DDR3 ram so please go and correct the link of the RAM.

1. Mining ETH on nvidia is a bad idea.
2. Mining on Windows is a bad idea.
If you want stability and reliability you need to run linux.
I want to object this 2 point of yours. This with Windows 10 is only a myth now that only Linux runs stable. I have my mining rigs which if configured properly are running from many months without any restart (of course Windows update is disabled). Beside that Linux uses 5% more of electricity which can be another burden if your electricity price is too high. Now to OP, +200 core clock and +500 memory is the max a GTX 1070 can handle with stable hashrate. While mining only ETH is not a good idea, dual mining ETH+DCR/SIA etc is a better idea compared to mining Zcash only.

I have same variant and is in my most under performing rig compared to Sapphire version of RX 570. I downloaded all possible Bios files from anorach tech as modifying it with PBE wouldn't work strangely. Max I have pulled out is a stable 28.1 Mhash rate, with 29.2 and up it would crash after some hours. Try different bioses you can find in Anorach tech website until you get at least 28 Mhash, this card is capable of running stable at this hashrate and if you want to experiment or are not afraid of frequent rig crashes, you can go up to 30 Mhash with this one. https://ufile.io/h8a9fLink to BIOS1 https://ufile.io/krxkiLink to BIOS2 https://ufile.io/rz4fgLink to BIOS3 https://ufile.io/p72laLink to BIOS4 All bios for HYNIX memory of the GPU-s.

As long as you keep your card temperature below 65 degree celsius, you can overclock it to the max, it won't damage your card. The biggest damage a graphic card can receive is from excessive heating. Although Nvidia says that temperature limit is 95 degree celsius, that is only in theory. In practice I have seen so many burned Gtx 970 from my experience working as an IT, all because of excessive heating.

The error comes from GPU3. First try running the miner with GPU3 disabled and see if the problem continues. To disable a GPU use the -di option in claymore. If it doesn't happen again then we are sure the problem is with GPU3. Try to run GPU3 at default core clock and memory clock.

Applied for the signature campaign. I hope I will be accepted, thank you.
|
|
|
Yeah what is going on with distribution of tokens. It is almost one month that campaign has ended.

With a modded Bios on RX 470/480 and 570 cards you need to use the AMD pixel patcher to bypass the signature check or you will have a code 43 error in the Windows Device Manager and they won't work. Most RX 580's don't need the patcher. Apply the patcher after installing or updating the AMD driver and reboot. If you are still having trouble, try removing the drivers in safe mode using DDU, install the latest AMD driver, apply the pixel patcher and toggle compute mode on in AMD settings for all the cards. https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-PatcherI just tried booting into safe mode through msconfig and now I only see a black screen and nothing else! I am connected to one of my video cards with HDMI and I can't get it out of safe mode! It is always a good practice that you go first in the BIOS and set primary display as IFGX which means primary display will be used the onboard graphics, you can hook up anything your motherboard supports, usually VGA is there as an option. After that you start troubleshooting your rig, by installing cards one by one and modifying their BIOS (check BURIEDONE videos on YouTube).

65 characters? Yes and the password make sense only to me. No dictionary brute force program can decrypt it and honestly since I am years ahead compared to even quantum computers in my brain(password only exist in my brain), chances are no one will ever do, at least not in this lifetime.
|

No one will be successful brute forcing it, even quantum computers, that is a legend to keep us afraid of the government agencies. During February of last year I have post a .RAR file with a 65 character password and many people here claimed to decrypting it in no time, yet it is almost one year and no one haven't.

Hey I just saw the signature campaign just ended and I want to thanks in advance Wapinter and Refereum team. My Ethereum address is the same so I wait patiently until tokens are distributed. I see from the spreadsheet(signature campaign only) I am the richest in Refereum stakes .

The dollar rate has changed in Nicehash because of Bitcoin price which has plummeted today. However the rate in bitcoin at nicehash is almost unchanged at all with very minimal change because of increasing difficulty in Ethereum at least. Be smart and keep mining, sell everything you make monthly until you pay back your investment and then every mining rig I consider it a gold mine because I predict bitcoin price to go up in the coming years.

Usually mining rigs to work perfectly are made with the same card so they have not driver conflicts but still even with different cards they should work.
Try different miners. Try Nicehash. The 1050 ti is making about 14 Mhash Ethereum/ 140 Mhash Decreed dual mining with Core clock +950 , any version of such card. Put also the 980 ti to make about 29 Mhash Ethereum / and about 290 Mhash Decreed and you should be making about 13 USD daily with Nicehash.
Mining Zcash is not as profitable as dual mining right now. Use latest Legacy version of Nicehash 1.8.1.6
