We said we would use Kludge, that is why I did not list it.

I have never adjusted the voltages, but it hashes at about 416-424.

Crosby, you made a mistake in your math somewhere. 2 X 175$ is a lot more than 280. Wink
26  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 5870 on: March 27, 2012, 06:59:33 PM
do you have more than one ?

Yes but I want to try selling this one first. After this sale is successful, I will sell the rest. I want to sell the ones that are using the side fans first, I have a few of these, they all work great but I prefer the other fans because I have many replacement fans available.

I will post the others for sale as soon as this one is sold.

98% load 418Mhs.

The card hashes right now at about 420. It is at 935/300 at default voltage.

The site seems to be in German. Can we use escrow with someone on the forum here? My German is not too good.

I have a 5870 for sale if interested. look at my post please.

Yes I am a newbie... Sad

I will only accept either bitcoin or cash. For the cash the transaction must be local.

The other cards are 5970's. Many different models, and many have had fans changed, and some even have had the whole cooling changed to accelero extreme cooling. Notes are kept on all cards what has been done to them if anything. I am not selling any of those yet. I want to sell off anything extra first and all the spare stuff.

I am starting to thin out the herd. I will be selling off many of my GPU's before the heat of summer gets here. I want to slowly get into FPGA'a so the GPU's must leave. I have many video cards but will start selling the 5870's first. If there are any issues with the cards to the best of my knowledge I will say what is wrong with the card, or any issues that are going on. I want to be open so no one gets any surprises. I am not sure if a return policy is a good idea or not, but we can talk about it.

Up for grabs right now is one 5870 that is currently hashing at about 421 Mhs. It has been  running for the past week with an MSI 890fxa-gd70 with out any issues. I have never replaced the fan, or any other parts on this card. This was one of many spare cards. I want to sell the cards with the side fans first, because I have many spare fans of the other version but none of these.

There are no issues with this card as far as I know it runs great..

I am hoping to get about 175$ worth of bitcoins, and when shipping i will include a tracking number. I can also ship it to USA or anywhere in the world if need be. I will pack it well, and charge the actual shipping charges, nothing more. I am shipping from the Montreal Canada area. If you are in the Montreal region and would like to personally pick up the card, that's fine too. The card will be sent within 2 days.

And now for the pictures!

I would suggest these but I do not think they can work the switch as they might not give the resistance that skin has. Wink

Much easier to switch off/on 8 rigs by their PSU than shorting the header 8 times with keys.  On the 890FXA-GD70 the header is between two video cards.

On this MB there is a switch on the actual board in the corner, it might be located under one of the cards. There is a reset switch and a power switch. They call it the "easy button."

Also in the BIOS there is an option to boot the system by pressing any key on the keyboard. If I must, I will shut down wait a few minutes and press any key on the keyboard.

Great thread with interesting arguments!

Thank you.
