Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam

Theres nothing to suggest Ethereum is a scam. I mean, did they try so hard to scam people that they accidently went ahead and created a groundbreaking cryptocurrency/smart contracting platform?
It's like saying Einstein just came up with the theory of relativaty to scam us all out of our nobel prizes. Or Lionel messi is just trying to scam us out of money by getting really good at football and getting us to pay to watch.

I wouldn't be surprised if they built a social network on top of Ethereum.
From what I know, they intend to build a social network on top of their own technology stack utilizing SpecialK, but plan on using an implementation of Casper for their PoS blockchain to facilitate the "attention economy". Will this social network be DECENTRALISED? Or will they be harvesting everyones data like facebook does? If it's the latter they can take their synero and shove it.

But do you think synero would be able to make a success of their project? I remember taking a look at their website and it was butters mate. Put me right off it imediately. How does a "social network" intend to get away with a site that ugly? I think this thread is a thinly veiled attempt to somehow associate the synero project with the ethereum project with no evidence except the dev of the project no ones heard of told someone else that he is talking to the lead dev of the project that is currently a runaway success. Sounds like either an attempt to muddy the waters or hype a shitty project.

I would not download anything from a link i followed from bitcointalk. I never follow any links off this site. If you want a wallet you should get one but {never click anything thats posted on bitcointalk} thats a rule i live by.

You still don't get it do you? The hype for ethereum is actually real. As in, it's our best hope. And people who actually want crypto to succeed as an idea will get behind it.
Tptb want war, well, the entire time ive visited this forum he is either wasting everyones time with mental masturbation or simply stumbling from thread to thread FUDDing down every coin that would dare to challenge his "intellectual superiority".

Doesn't StorJ have a coin on polyonoxious? Aren't they nearing a milestrone. Again I recently explained why all those decentralized file systems (including MaidSafe and Sia) are technological nonsense, but doesn't seem to the concern of you P&D followers. Potential problem with XMR is that the coin was too well distributed and absent a premine, thus no one has the means and incentive to P&D it. Monero would seem to instead be a long-term investment (and personally I think a very poor one for the recent reasons I have explained about their UNRELIABLE anonymity having no market). Rather I would say take your profits from crypto before March and hold dollars because a major contagion is brewing in the markets that is going to wipe out Bitcoin, gold, and all markets except the US dollar and US stocks. The coming interest rate hikes from the Fed will turn up the dial pressure. Note for example OROBTC's comment today that his Peru ball bearing sales have fallen significantly since December. Martin Armstrong's model is coming true as predicted as the periphery collapses and the USA and US dollar will be the last man standing in the global economy. It does look like we have a very rocky road ahead re the financial markets. China announced that their steel companies will be firing some 400,000 employees. I have never accepted as fact that the BRICS were anything for the USA to worry about. (We have are own problems to worry about)
China does look to be leading the world into hard times.
The Baltic Dry Index is down again.
Our sales of bearings are Peru are down HARD in the past several weeks.
Europe seems to be drowning in a sea of Muslims, and they don't seem capable (now anyway) of doing anything about it...
When the liquidity dries up in the altcoin market, you can be holding a dead asset. Are you now trying to FUD the entire crypto market? Why do you hate it that another coin is successfully opening up new fields for crypto? Maybe you should fuck off out of the scene entirely? Ulterior motive?

Reported for spamming. We dont care that you lost and sold SHORT. Get over it!
Sorry bagholder. I never shorted that piece-of-shitcoin. Find a new excuse for your selling your shit to other greater fools in a zero-sum game with no long-term potential actual innovation and adoption network effects. How butthurt are you? actually you're the one that comes across butthurt, look at your post history, why do you percieve that attacking litecoin will somehow help ETH in fact doing it all over the forum turns people off ethereum, starting to make it like another monero etc, no one wants to be in a coin full of toxic members attacking other coins. I've always hated litecoin. And if you go on the litecoin subreddit you will see immense FUD against ethereum. Litecoin has done nothing but hurt crypto since the day it was dreamt up. I remember that sinking feeling reading about it. It showed everyone you could create a cryptocurrency in one afternoon without any thought or innovation and idiots would buy it and the early birds would get rich. I can only imagine btc would be at $10,000 today if that bag of shit hadn't been invented. The only coins I've ever even wanted to own were Bitcoin (the first) and ethereum (by far the only coin thats really trying to push the boundaries of crypto) The rest are quite blatantly scams with no academic or social merit whatsoever.

Time to get out of litecoin before it's too late.
Anyone with half a brain can see it's about to be dumped like a sack of shit. Don't be left carrying the bag when chinese investors get wind of what happened to litecoin.
There is literally no reason for litecoin to exist in this day and age. I hated litecoin when it first came out. It was the coin that started the shitcoin wave that held crypto back by 10 years. I'll be glad when anyone who "invested" in that little stinker loses all their money. Karma bitches.
