How's it going there at CigsSpot? I've been smoking American FSC's now for over a month and hating it. Thinking of stopping by your site for another order. You wrote: "Now everything is fixed and we are start shipping again from Monday." Is that still the case, you're shipping now like you used to? I'd order on a Friday, and get my smokes on the next Tuesday. You can't beat that. Again, I feel really bad about jumping too fast thinking you were a ripoff last time. I hope all is well and maybe see you a little later.

Last day of 15% disscount!!
Dont miss your chance!

Do not buy from this place. They will steal your money. You'll not receive your smokes.

Thats kinda hard! We didnt steal your money and now we explained that we had logistic troubles!

We are waiting for your BTC address to send you the refund.

This is true. It was a terrible mixup. I'd had a very fine experience with CigsSpot before. I'd order on a Wednesday, and receive my smokes on the next Tuesday. You can't get it faster. Then, last time, I didn't receive my order for near two weeks. So, based on past bad experiences with other dealers, I just assumed I got ripped off again. I wrote to him, called him a thief; figured I'm never hearing from him again since he'd ripped me off. He wrote back the same day. Offered to re-send the smokes, or refund the money. Well, I chose the latter to be sure. And I just now got my money back.

So I apologize to him, and hope anyone who might be considering ordering to go ahead. CigsSpot is fast and trusworthy.

This is how he explained it:

"faced with some Delivery issues.

"We have been resolving them for 2 weeks and hadnt shipped anything in that period.

"Now everything is fixed and we are start shipping again from Monday."

Completely understood now.

I had some luck, at first, with Dutyfree.io Then last October my order was lost. That was $90 lost. And nothing could be done about that because I had failed to order via “Tracked airmail”. So on December 29, 2016 I ordered again, this time making sure I paid the extra postage for "Tracked airmail" at $99.92. On January 31, 2017 I wrote to him wondering where the smokes were. He wrote this:

Something very strange happened - the parcel we’ve sent your way has been returned to us this Tuesday. The weird bit is that there are no US post stamps on it, nor there is an indicated reason for it coming back! We are even wondering whether it has reached the US border at all.

Having said all of this, is it okay if we re-dispatch it to the same original address?

Of course, I said to re-send them. Well, now it's been nearly 12 weeks since I ordered. I know my smokes are not going to come.

I've lost nearly $200 trusting this guy. Never again. I suppose that my $200 is small change to him but it's not to me. I hope he doesn't treat his big buyers this way. Suppose I'd ordered a large volume, say a year's smokes at a pack/day? That'd be $2340. Who could afford to lose that?! Well, in the end, the honest person recognizes his opposite and simply turns away. I'm calling it dishonest. Do I think he actually ever even sent these two orders? Who can know? But he did say, "We are even wondering whether it has reached the US border at all." Yes, I am wondering that too. When dealing with a dishonest person, for example a thief, it's best not to deal with him at all because no good to you will come of it. It cost me $200 to learn this.

I hope this helps anyone considering ordering from Dutyfree.io

I am know sure what's happening but dutyfree.io has grown from a reliable cigarette merchant to a
We don't respond to customer queries  and don't provide shipping proof company. It Already 1 carton was lost and they refuse to answer queries at all..

How about you stop whining already?

Dutyfree.io has been good for me for over a year. However, one mistake is all I ever allow. I do not give second chances. One mistake and trust is lost. This is called simple justice.

I’m just looking at the cost of the mistake I made in not ordering “Tracked airmail” last time. It has cost me $90.00, or should I say $90.00 was stolen from me from dutyfree.io? No, I cannot prove that two cartons were lost. So it’s a matter of trust, isn’t it.

I ordered four cartons on October 12. Two came. Two never have.

I’m not whining.

I accept my mistake not reading the Q&A to see I should have ordered “Tracked airmail”. I’m not whining. I accept having to go back to FSC stuff since the headaches I get from those, at least I will never lose money. And I do trust the local vendor to hand over immediately my cigarettes as I pass him my money. The headache of losing money is not worth it.

It's too bad. This is my experience, my decision. I do not suggest staying away from dutyfree.io. As I say, my experience was good - as long as it was good. Lost packages will happen. I wish anyone well who tries them. They are good, but I hope you can afford it the time it comes that your smokes are lost.

My order went through and arrived in unexpectedly rapid time, packaged such that the carton of Marlboro is fine and not obviously cigarettes. (I'd ordered from an Indonesian place where one of my packages was opened, someone - I guess in the post office - stealing them. I got them replaced but at some three weeks extra waiting time.)

Through your place I had to learn about bitcoin; how to buy and then how to send to you for my order. You did help, and a lot of valuable information on your easy website.

These non-FSC Marlboros are like smoking in the 1980s again. No more headaches, sore throat and the cigarette going out every few drags.

Wonderful that you have found us out here. Thanks very much.

I just bought enough new bitcoin to order another two cartons. Will do so by mid-week next. (For some reason, my bank still wants to hold my bitcoin purchase for a few days.)

See you next week. And again, thanks.

I'm not sure if it's been answered already but try dutyfree.io

Thanks for sharing your story. We're extremely pleased to be the company who introduced you to Bitcoin - you're in for quite a ride! Smiley

I can confirm that our Marlboros are produced by Phillip Morris in Eastern Europe and are non-FSC.

Here's a 5% coupon code you can use: 5OFFSR2. Should you have any questions, feel free to shoot us an email at hello@dutyfree.io

We'd be delighted to read your review in our own thread once you have the chance to light 'em up!

Thank you very much, Mr. only. Or is it CrackedLogic? Yes, it's a ride. Just starting my trip to dutyfree.io now, via Bitcoin and then finally back to dutyfree.io. Bitcoin is a bit complicated for me - has taken me some five hours. But have finally purchased the amount necessary for your Marlboros. When all is done, I hope to report to your own thread.

All the best,

Bob

I'm not sure if it's been answered already but try dutyfree.io

I've found dutyfree.io, thank you. Now I need to figure out how to buy and use bitcoins.

Please forgive a long story. But there's something in it that might be of interest, and it shows how I came to Bitcoin Forum.

I've been looking for two months for places to buy real Marlboro cigarettes. The price didn't matter too much. What matters is that they not be made in the US! I'd quit smoking for some time. Took it up again this spring and intend to keep it up until I see good reason not to. But the constant terrible headaches! The raw, burning throat! This is not a Marlboro I'm smoking. A little research, I find that all cigarettes in America are now FSC: Fire safe cigarettes, or Fire Standards Comliant. "The sickness—the nausea—The pitiless pain—That maddened my brain" is caused by the paper mandated for FSC cigarettes. It's hard to find much about these FSC cigarettes. I'll quote the most scientific-sounding (i.e., I don't know if it's true) "ingredients" tobacco companies are mandated to make:

"This paper is constructed by gluing two or three thin bands of less-porous paper together with an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion based adhesive."

"The Harvard School of Health reported that when comparing FSC versus Regular Cigarettes, the FSC cigarettes produced 13.9% more Naphthalene and 11.4% more carbon monoxide than regular cigarettes. Naphthalene is commonly found in moth balls, and exposure in high amounts of acute exposure include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, malaise, confusion, anemia, jaundice, convulsions, and coma."

I found that there are places that Phillip Morris has plants that do not require FSC paper. I found a place in Indonesia that sells non-FSC cigarettes. Ciggies World. Ordered one carton for $47.80. Very fine cigarettes, real Marlboro cigarettes, produced in Indonesia by Philip Morris Indonesia. So I ordered three more cartons, but one arrived at the USPS locally stamped "Received Without Contents". Looks like someone along the way cut it open. I'm not bothering filling out the USPS Domestic or International Claim. I'ts too complicated what with the foreign language that I can barely see on this battered package. Ciggies World wants me to, but it's my decision. So I'm looking for other places. I got a carton from Vietnam (incidentally, I was happy to discover this, for I was in Vietnam with the Marines for 26 months in 1968 and 1970.), but they taste awful. Price is $24.00 carton, $5.00 postage and they arrived in one week. They're distributed through a Phillip Morris plant in Vietnam, but where they're made who knows? I think that Phillip Morris plants in eastern Europe are still making real Marlboros. So I'm going to try your dutyfree.io place that looks eastern European. Again, thanks.

Now, off to buy some bitcoins....
