Again it's not so much I wanna keep the free thirty bucks, LOL, but more-so I'm concerned if this might somehow damage Monero, or Monero's reputation... OR even damage this particular third-party's reputation, who sent it, IF they could be somehow exploited by it too?  I wouldn't want to do that, either, so kind of have to step lightly here maybe...

What happened here??

Hi Folks:

This BTCTalk account is a new one-off throwaway account login I made just for this post, for privacy purposes (hope that's okay)

Posting this here just 'cuz I don't know quite what to do and wanna ask the community for input.

A couple days ago I made a transfer of bitcoin into a MONERO wallet and didn't immediately check it, just trusting it would've gone thru okay.

But now, today, I go and look at that address via MyMonero wallet and it appears to have been deposited TWICE into that address!

The time stamp on TWO transactions is exactly the same minute and second.

But the transaction ID's ARE different!  And, going on a few days now both transactions seem to have STUCK and are considered valid (?).

So, what could have happened here?  It's not so much I'm happy to have gotten an extra 51 monero (thirty bucks whoopie) but it's more than a little bit troubling to see that something like this could happen?  If it's plus thirty bucks this time, could be some day MINUS thirty thousand dollars!!!???
