So:

$150 to mine 245kh? <-- nVidia
$320 to mine 700kh? <-- AMD 280x

How is that better? I dont get it.

$35-40 to mine 200-210kh <---- used 5770s.  Every one of them I have (5) mine at 850+core/1200 RAM @ 1.000 volts.

The dogcoin brainwashed persons are quite delusional

Bitcoin never needed any dogcoin to do anything for bitcoin

its a delusion to think that dogecoin is needed at all for anything, by anyone

To be fair, it's just as delusional to think that Bitcoin is the way of the future.  What 21 million coins in a world with 7 billion people?  That's not even including coins that have been "lost" or will be lost.  Not even accounting for lost coins that's 0.003 BTC per person.

Also if it's main goal is to be a currency it fucking fails at it since it's deflationary.  If I knew that a dollar would be worth more tomorrow than today, what incentive would I have to ever spend it?

the price of computers and TVs drop consistently .. but yet people buy them quite often.. so much for your theory

WTF does that have to do with a currency that has a fixed limit (21 million BTC)?

For one the source of computers/TVs isn't artificially limited at some number.  If people want more, they get built.  Second, I wasn't aware that computers/TVs are a currency. Tell me, how many computers does a pack of gum cost in your neighborhood?

First it will only give you 950 watts on the 12V side, the good news is that it should be enough for 4 270s.

Second, this PSU has 5 rails.  Chances are you have two cards hooked up to one rail which overloads it so the PSU shuts down for it's own protection.  Think of it kinda of like trying to plug every appliance you own into one outlet and turning them on. An analogy: Even though your main line (the PSU) into the home can handle it, the smaller circuit (the rail) can't handle everything and the breaker trips.  You need to move some connections inside the PC around to get them split up right.

Probably your powersupply. Just because it says it's 1000 watts, doesn't mean it's 12V watts.

How many amps on the 12V rail.

......
how i pointed out they will ruin it for all of us ?

..leave

your not wanted.

me ? i'm not going anywhere and i will have a lot of i told you so's to dish out to noobs like all the morons scamming with Doge coin..

WAHH, they're ruining it for me!!!!

Hey man, go have a fucking cry about it.

Don't be surprised if there are wide sweeping arrests for fraud and money laundering.. authorities don't usually respond to well to ponzi scheme operations
even if the have an ooooooh soooooo hilarious dog meme.jpg as an icon.

What the fuck are you on about, unless you mean bitcoin?  Bitcoin exchange CEO arrested for money laundering: CEO of exchange BitInstant, Charlie Shrem.

Seriously though, if I paid for a sack of drugs using gold bars, would that make gold "bad"?  Nope, a payment method isn't good or bad, its just a payment method. Nothing more, nothing less.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 15, 2014, 06:38:31 PM
Dear, Doge Fanboys and cheerleaders,

Your crappy shitcoin is nothing but a crappy clone of any one of the 100's of other scrypt clones
with an icon as it's only unique feature and redeeming quality.. which is just a picture some guy found online and used.
The dev / douche aka: coin cloner, could not even be bothered to create a new meme.jpg for his Coingen coin lol

i hope anyone supporting this coin gets cleaned out and loses all their money bad !

Doge coin is a scammy crap clone coin that is damaging to Bitcoin and the entire Altcoin scene.
When major news outlets online report on Bitcoin news and they start including news about Doge
it make Bitcoin look bad.. i can see clearly people who are not even in crypto are disgusted by this crap scam coin.
Never mind the guys like me who have been at it for a while and watched many other shitcoins like this come and go..

The only reason it has gotten popular is because noobs that showed up late to the Altcoin game
decided they would FLASH MINE this coin.. greedy stupid noobs are the problem and i kinda wish Bitcoin never exploded in popularity sometimes.

The intelligence level of Doge supporters is at best.. retarded.
They are too stupid to realize that their support of Doge and their damaging antics are undermining the very thing giving their shit coin any value at all.
Which is the ability to dump the shit coin for a REAL currency such as Bitcoin.. you make Bitcoin look bad by shouting Doge all over the web..
while making Bitcoin look bad while in turn making Doge look bad and worth less.. your smart guys lol

I just feel sorry for all the dev's out there that had gone to great lengths to create and support a REAL honest alternative to Bitcoin.
The lime light is stolen from them at every turn because of mouthy retard noobs screeching Doge and Much yes 'tard crap..

And yes it is in fact possible to trade and mine a coin AND not support it and make money of it..
after all you might as well if the stupid dumpy scamcoin exchanges are going to add the coin then ya go for it ..might as well make a few $$ with it.
BUT
You don't have to run around like a moron across the web screaming Doge every chance you get trying to lure new people into a ponzi scheme.

Never mind the long term implications of this clone coin crap.. you idiots are doing REAL supporters a dis-service
and i am going to make sure your shitty little scam coin goes nowhere by pointing to the new people how utterly scammy and useless Doge coin is.

My advice to new users is do a bit of research and find one of the other alternative crypto-currencies to get involved with
that offer something unique and have a real dev team with a real road map of goals.. just look for them there are many.

very words
much angry
many sad

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why endless supply will make Dogecoin worthless on: February 08, 2014, 04:27:15 AM
inflation is the best thing that could had happen to dogecoin

dogecoin will be used as a currency not an asset like all other coins

the community will continue to grow and give away dogecoin to charities, the media attention and growth will continue

trust me once we hit the 10,000 blocks theres no way you will be able to buy a dogecoin for 150 satoshi

buying in exchanges to use and donate will drive this coins price up

    100% agree.

These these coins are intended to be used a a currency, not an asset to hold.

    Full Definition of CURRENCY

2a :  something (as coins, treasury notes, and banknotes) that is in circulation as a medium of exchange
b :  paper money in circulation
    c :  a common article for bartering[/li][/list]

The primary role of a currency is to be *USED* for exchange.  If there is a constant deflation where something becomes more and more valuable over time then where is your incentive to ever exchange it?  If I knew that a US dollar today would buy me 30% more next year, I'd do everything I could to avoid spending it.  Thus it fails as a currency.

A slow inflation makes people spend a currency and use it.

mBTC will become the standard within 5 years and a couple more decimal places can be used to give it a total coin cap of 2.1 Trillion with 2 decimal places to spare for "bitcents" , if this happens most coins producing over 10 billion today will never hold much value.

It's not about moving decimal places to use a mBTC or a "bit cent",  it's the fact that it's deflationary.  1 kilogram = 1000 grams, it's the same damn thing.

Spending BTC has a opportunity cost (losing the extra future value derived from increased scarcity).  This makes it behave more like an asset, not a currency, and therefore a poor medium of exchange.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we realy need NXT / Ripple ? on: February 04, 2014, 04:52:34 AM
We need alts, but NXT isn't it.

    Things I know about NXT:
    1) It's 100% PoS.  Basically the rewards from the mining process only go to those that hold it.   IE. the rich get richer and the poor get squat.
    2) Since the reward is based on holding it you are deterred form spending it as not only do you exchange it out now, you also lose future earnings.
    3) Combine that with the fact it's 100% pre-mine.. and just LOL!  Shit, I think I'm going to open up my monopoly game, stick my face on the bills, then say "I'll only give more to the people that buy now" and sell them for $1000 USD each. lol. Any "investors" out there?

    NXT = trash.

Yeah, I don't hate dogecoin, I just really dislike its stupid users.

The stupid users... like the ones that have donated to send 2 athletes to the Olympics?

    http://www.digitaltrends.com/social-media/dogecoin-jamaican-bobsled-team-olympics/

Or maybe it's the stupid dogecoin users that are donating food to homeless shelters?

I have to ask the question: What has the BTC/LTC community done lately besides grumble and bitch about DOGE?  Put up, or shut up.
