41  Economy / Web Wallets / Beware of this phishing email! on: July 03, 2016, 06:10:39 AM
I received an email an hour ago stating this:

Notice the hidden link behind "Start the verification process here."
Also notice the grammatical errors.
Beware of these kind of emails as this email went through Gmail's spam filter and reached directly to my inbox.

Also they are trying to trick users by using this domain for sending emails:

If you have received these kind of emails, kindly report them as phishing attack for Gmail's spam bot recognition.
42  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ▶▶ XOtika.TV ◀◀ Adult Platform • Fully Powered by Bitcoin! ★★★★★ on: July 01, 2016, 08:52:12 PM
We invite you to participate in our Affiliate Program

as I understood you are inrested in lots of Affiliates. We have more then 5000 webmasters. Feel free to write me in Skype: anna_cpa

AFAIK, they have a different kind of affiliation system where anyone can directly earn bitcoins by promoting their site through a personal referral link given after signing up.

You can place those referral links and directly earn bitcoins to your profile according to the number of referral members who have tipped in the cam shows.
43  Economy / Services / Re: Computer repair ONLINE ! on: July 01, 2016, 02:44:18 PM
can you unlock iphone?  You must unlock it first before i give the payment..if  you dont want ,well i will find somebody else who can do it for me.

You can basically unlock your iPhone from http://www.unlockmyphone.io
And the fun part is, they also accept bitcoins.

You should consider anyone who ask you to use Teamviewer a suspicious person. Here is quick glimpse of what could happen if allow them to access your PC:

Quote from: RandomOnlineDude
A friend has fallen foul of the scam and downloaded Teamviewer and allowed access to his PC and, god forbid, given his Cred Card details.
I have told him to stop his card immediatly and leave his PC switched off. What actions are necessary to ensure the security of his PC?

Shit like this can happen. And worse! Because most of use have bitcoin stored on our machines. Avoid this service like the plague!
I would rather not test it for free, even if Op would give me vouches. You shouldn't too.

Yes, the easiest way to spread Trojan is via Teamviewer.

45  Economy / Services / Re: Computer repair ONLINE ! on: July 01, 2016, 11:34:22 AM
Be careful of these kind of services online.
There are several infamous scams occuring everytime through these kind of services by impersonating under the name of big companies like Microsoft. And Bitcoin is the most easiest way to scam a big time due to its irreversible nature.

Here are some info about the kind of scams that happens all the time: https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0346-tech-support-scams

There are several YouTube videos listed about busting those scammers: https://m.youtube.com/results?q=tech%20support%20scammer&sm=1

I would always prefer a local tech guy over these online services which emerges out of nowhere!
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This asshole published my private key! on: June 29, 2016, 04:48:39 PM
Lol!
I challenge OP to find the private key of (1SoumyadbsfCGsSekYdgAkWpGZM3WSaxt) from that database and take all the coins from there. If he successfully does that I will be glad to send him an extra 3 BTC for his inevitable effort! Grin

On a side note OP can apparently find more private keys (of other users according to him Tongue) from https://www.bitaddress.org which are not posted on http://directory.io

Also I suggest OP to read this for real: http://directory.io/faq
47  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blochain.info i need help on: June 29, 2016, 04:27:34 PM
i have 0.00036 now and the fee is 0.0003 thats way too much i think.. So anyone knows there is a setting or knows an good wallet (no coinbase) ?

If you are dealing with dust payments then I would recommend you to try Xapo (https://xapo.com)
You can send even one satoshi through Xapo as they pay the miner's fee for you.
48  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [TEASER] on: June 29, 2016, 09:05:36 AM
Are you going to make a silver version for me with a custom engraved 5 character vanity char?

I like the minimalistic design of it and so I couldn't resist myself asking this!  Tongue
49  Economy / Exchanges / So Coinbase supports PayPal! on: June 29, 2016, 08:45:34 AM
According to their recent blog post, Coinbase is adding PayPal as a platform for depositing fiat. (only for US users)

I don't know whether its hysterical or hypocrisy but AFAIK, PayPal was solely against any trades related to Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. And I wonder whether its a plan for Coinbase's long con?  Roll Eyes

Can we please for the love of GOD move GAW from Obsolete to collapsed Ponzi....

Bloody Hell even the SEC has claimed they are a Ponzi and is dragging them through the courts...

Code:
Cryptsy MN            1+2+3+4            => 4/7 = Possibly/partially legit ( + no details on fee structure)

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I tried upgrading the list by adjusting their current positions but here's what OP wanted instead (I like his argument as well). So I reverted back in upgrading the old school way.

51  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: June 27, 2016, 01:39:07 AM
I pre-ordered a Ledger Nano S and am looking forward to see it's potential, whether it can compete with Trezor and KeepKey. It is to some extent "budget friendly" comparing with other options as mentioned above.

Previously I was a customer of Ledger HW.1 and I was satisfied with the product and it's overall usage, but I have a few request, which if considered updating on firmware of Nano S would be great:

1. Ability to send bitcoins to multiple addresses at the same time which helps to cut down transaction fees. Just like Blockchain.info's multi-send feature.

2. Abillity to sign any addresses generated on my wallet.

3. Ability to directly exchange BTC to ETH and vice versa as an when an user feels safe to do so.

53  Economy / Goods / Re: {WTS} Virtual Credit Card + Physical Debit Cards on: June 17, 2016, 07:23:13 PM
I just sold a card for $62 to Indianacoin

Yes he was a swift seller.
He did not hesitate to fulfill my wish.

Although he was quite skeptical about the acceptance of his cards on Oculus store, he sent me a test $1 card.
Soon after it worked he provided me with a $62 card after I paid him the respective BTC.

Thanks Smiley
54  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer akszyn, paid upfront and has not delivered account or refunded on: June 17, 2016, 02:36:58 PM
This is not the actual scam reporting format.
You need to show proofs of chat logs/messages you exchanged with the would-be scammer.

Kindly update your OP with this format below:

56  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [GROUP BUY] OPENDIME - Zero-Trust Physical Bitcoin Wallet on: June 17, 2016, 11:23:25 AM
Hey Mitchell,

Did you dispatch the dies I ordered before?
If not can you please hold on to it before I pay you for one OPENDIME set?

It will help in curbing out the high shipping fee. Smiley
57  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Virtual Credit Card (Not Debit Card!) on: June 17, 2016, 11:11:03 AM
Why not entropay?

Can you create a virtual card for me at that rate?

Use spectrocoin 1 card cost only 50 cents

AFAIK, Spectrocoin has virtual debit card, not credit card.

you can try e-coin  it's best and if it doesn't work then get a e-coin card and use it to fund entropay card  Grin it will work !

E-coin is also a virtual debit card! Undecided
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: FAQ: All About Unconfirmed 0 Confirmation Transaction Fee (READ before posting!) on: June 17, 2016, 10:31:04 AM

The fee seems sufficient but currently there are over 18700 unconfirmed transactions[1] in the network.
Maybe you will have to wait for another hour or so.

59  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Virtual Credit Card (Not Debit Card!) on: June 15, 2016, 10:57:09 PM
I want to buy apps and games from Oculus store and so I need a virtual credit card only.

It would be better if anyone can sell me a virtual credit card from Neteller because it works on Oculus Store.
Also, I can't get one by myself as my country does not support creating a VCC on Neteller.

Or you can try other sites if you like.

The balance in the card has to be $60.

For this deal I will have to go for an escrow as some VCC might not work out on the Oculus store.
So a refund will be initiated by me if that happens.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Universal-Wallet] Coinomi (BIP44 compatible) on: June 13, 2016, 09:10:41 PM
Question: does staking work on Coinomi? As in is it a universal staking wallet also?

Not at present.
They stated before about implementing that feature in future though.

is v1.6.2 the most recent update? I don't think Google Play notifies me correctly

Yes. It is the most recent update.
