141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 11, 2017, 09:34:07 PM
thank you, still not mining,  minerd.exe pauses asks me to type any key to continue,
when i type key, minerd.exe vanish, no mine

i read at github download page for yenten minerd,
it gives advises for disable sslv3
and i search how disable sslv3
but not find how disable sslv3

is problem cause by sslv3? don't know,
but try to find how disable sslv3
and try again

you do not have to do anything for sslv3, that's changes made for the wallet 1.2.1 that's all

i assume you are on windows, you have only to click to the .bat file created with your yenten address and it will start miner.

yenten_minerd did not work for me at bunnymining.work mining pool.

tried win 64sse, it did not work ...

went back to win64 minerd recommended at bunnymining pool link for download,
and it seems to do better than the rest but....the minerd program says:

"2 miner threads started, using "yescrypt" algorithm

binding thread 0 to cpu 0
binding thread 1 to cpu 1
Stratum requested work restart"

and when I input 'getmininginfo' into the console of yenten, it does not show me to be mining...

but when I am using cpuminderd win64, does it use the yenten wallet to be mining then?
I don think it does, but don know for sure.

and i check at bunnymining.work pool site in my account and it does not show me mining it shows 00 hashespersec

*could try at other pool sites, but do not know what to put into the cpuminerd RunMe.bat file,
and did not see instructions to show what to do on any of those sites,
and the other mining pool sites do not have registration or login.

need thoughtful instructions how to mine yenten

Hello, you dont need to run the yenten wallet to mine with external program like yenten_minerd, cpuminer, ...

first where you are located ? it's better to mine to the pool near you.

i give bellow an example with bilbotel, there is many others pools

create .bat a file eg: bilbotel.bat in the miner (yenten_minerd or cpuminer-opt) folder (-t 2 is not mandatory, it's to limit the miner to 2 core, you can change it to more if you have more or low if you want to use your pc in the same time it mine)
Code:
minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u MyYentenAddress -p c=YTN -t 2
PAUSE

save the file (bilbotel.bat) and click on it

You will see after few seconds (or a little minute) something like with your hash
Code:
C:\yminerd>minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u MyYentenAddress -p c=YTN -t 2
[2017-12-10 21:08:30] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234

Some pool have to register and you need to create a worker, some others pool you dont have to register then you put your YTN address as user.

in this sample (bilbotel) you can see your earning on their wallet page eg:
https://www.bilbotel.fr/?address=MyYentenAddress

( your stats on pool will show 5 minutes after have submited some shares that are Accepted )

replace MyYentenAddress with your Yenten Address

where instructions of how to mine with yenten_minerd? at mining pools?
can mine without yenten_minderd at mining pools? or need yenten_minerd to mine at mining pools?

Use cpuminer-opt v3.7.4 or v3.7.5

On my comp i get more hash from this one (cpuminer-opt) vs yenten_minerd

To mine on mining pool, you have to use yenten_minerd or cpuminer-opt

Hello, i made this one, if someone have more design skill and would like to share it for free to use/modify:

CPU solomining
why hashrate so low(153) on yenten? got 4800 hashespersec on other coin

What is your cpu ?
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 10, 2017, 07:08:17 PM
I sent .003 btc from coinsmarkets to coinbase and only .0015 showed up.  The .0015 posted today should I keep waiting for the other half or should I contact coinbase or coinsmarkets?

Withdrawal fees of coinsmarkets perhaps ? I dont use bitcoin anymore since few month, doge and litecoin are better, and litecoin is accepted by coinbase

Coinsmarkets.com is a scam!

Wow ya just heard back from coinsmarkets.com they have a .002 bitcoin transfer fee.  This is $30!  What a scam site!  I am going to be on stocks.exchange instead for yenten.
Many exchanges have high fees on withdrawals and some like localbitcoins have deposit fees too for bitcoin now, bitcoin is so bad for that. Bitcoin from exchanges have more fees than credit card now or wired transfert, that suck

Look stocks.exchange withdrawal fees before Wink

honestly it doesn't need to be anonymous.  The feds only look at exchanges anyway currently; which an anonymous coin won't help you when you cash out.  In the future if they are data mining the blockchain you can just shapshift into monero and back.

+1 fully anonymity wont really help and it's always possible for user who prefer the dark to use some technics to enhance their anonymity.

nosekefik can be removed from pool list, their yenten pool look like removed

Still way early for anything significant to happen...

Can anyone now tell me if the transactions are private!!!  On the block explorer, all transactions have no outputs...only inputs....

Transactions have vin and vout like bitcoin
eg: http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/api/getrawtransaction?txid=41f6abb209f94a430408bebeff055b7b3d9b033bd54e871f78305061f2f02207&decrypt=1

if needed i can make a mixer

But Vin has no address, am I missing something?

Vin have tx id : 90a938722081e94ed9064db88586bc24629080a5d212e291325fc9a93cb76cf3
where you can see the addy sended those coins and where you can see previous addy that sended coins to it.

eg: http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/tx/41f6abb209f94a430408bebeff055b7b3d9b033bd54e871f78305061f2f02207
you can see the addy that have sended coins : Yn3Biang5BB71ySt8ocYCzeCzEoco11YmE
if you look more you can see those addys whos send coins to the addy :
http://yenten-blockexplorer.chocottokozukai.click/tx/90a938722081e94ed9064db88586bc24629080a5d212e291325fc9a93cb76cf3

etc...

then anonymous like bitcoin is Wink

Simple yenten faucet : https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-faucet

Proof-of-Work Captcha 1024:
Claim as you want, for each YTN claimed, i will place a bid to rebuy them to support buy price.

Hi dev. Is there any planned to make an android miner at least next year? Will be more easy for me to mine with my phone.

Yeah I'm interested in this too. Especially since Electroneum chose Cryptonight and I realized their mobile miner doesn't do any actual mining. Their app just airdrops a little bit of coin into your wallet as long as you run the app in the background.

Whereas Yenten could be mined by a phone or mini cpu rig anywhere in the world.

Android Miner would be very cool yup
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: December 05, 2017, 12:36:27 AM
Interesting coin and algo, solo mining with my 8320E.
Tomorrow I will report the hashrate of my Odroid XU3, seems like a good fit. Suggestion for dev: A pool list in the OP would be nice. Also an Android miner could be really useful.  Wink

Hello, if you are looking for pools, at this time i have put them as links on https://cryptoservices.net/en/nodes-yenten and as stats on a doughnut from the last 100 blocs mined at https://cryptoservices.net/en/ytn-explorer/

New Pool!!!

I added it to my pool  Wink

It's based on YiiMP, no registration is needed!

Happy Mining =)

Hello, where is based your yenten pool ? usa ? europe ? asia ? ...

Edit: germany ?

Hello the community !

For you all, I added a stronger and faster node :
stratum+tcp://yescryptr16.n-engine.com:6233

And do not forget to vote for payment in bitcoin : Please vote here!

Naskel

Nice for the node

Bad for the vote, mining yenten to get payment in btc are girlz, yenten is not for girlz  Grin
Mine yenten to get yenten, not to get btc

I launched (AFAIK) first Japanese YTN mining pool, yey!!

https://ytn.misosi.ru/

I'm noob at pool op and still couldn't estimated how many user/workers can be handled in my server. I might need to stop accepting new registration when many people come to.

You are 21y or older man. I'm kids, so handle with care please!

Nice, gl

I just noticed that then name "Yenten" (円天 in Japanese) has already been used in the past, and it didn't go well...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enten_controversy

Was Enten not Yenten even it look like same concatenate glyph
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPU mining] Yenten v1.2.1 [YTN] [YescryptR16] [Exchange avilable] on: November 23, 2017, 04:24:52 AM
do you compare the reward from wallet and pool?

not really i mine for fun Cheesy

But i can say (at this time) with the same hashrate, i got a little more with luck in solomining

My server as a full node with the more connexions it can handle (ie: accept in and not limited to 8 )
Hash at around 220 hashes/s ( i limited the cpu usage to get free ressources for others stuff )
It got 3 Blocks -> 150 YTN

My home comp hashes at around 230 hashes/s to the best near pool of my location (i limited cpu too because i want to use it too lol)
I got around 20 to 25 YTN per days (depend of the network/stratum/disconnect for hours sometimes)
i got around 125 YTN

Both mine since the same day.

Server wins for now, but it's a luck game  Wink
