321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the safest wallet to use for long term offline storage? on: June 09, 2017, 10:50:54 AM
Which is the safest wallet to use?

I'm buying a laptop that will always be offline and used just to store my bitcoins. I'm wondering which would be the safest wallet to use to store the coins.

There is no best wallet for comparison between wallets offline, because they are all safe, and they have similar features. For offline wallets (hardware wallet), you are the only person who can secure your money, as long as you do not let anyone know your private key, they can not steal your money.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: June 09, 2017, 04:21:06 AM
It's been weeks now since i play gambling games or we may say casino games, sometime i played it just for fun but when i won, my greediness comes and trying to recover my lose bitcoins and want to earn more but ending up losing all my money. For me gambling is good just to have fun and beat boredness but if you want to make money by playing casino i think it's not a good idea because you never know how many luck you have it's either you lose all your money or double it. but most of the time i lose all my money for you guys what do you think of playing casino games is it good or not?

If you look at gambling as an entertainment game, it is definitely a good game for you to relieve stress, however, for some people, they view it as a way to make money. It is dangerous, the flag you do not have any rules, you can win a lot of money, but you can also lose everything. So, gambling is just an entertaining game, do not overdo it.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 09, 2017, 01:54:21 AM
Unbelievable, this topic is always in the top, which shows that it is always of interest and discussion. It seems people are very concerned about the wallet of the bitcoin deal, it is a matter of urgency for people to overcharge transactions while transactions are slow. However, for business people, we should prioritize the speed of transactions, so we should use a reasonable fee.
324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i buy bitcoins? on: June 07, 2017, 03:59:27 PM
Hi bitcoiners! does anyone know where i can buy bitcoin with credit card or paypal at the lowest fees as possible... thanks!
There are many bitcoin trading platforms in the world and in your own country, you can easily own bitcoin with a few simple transactions. However, most exchanges use the same fee, so I do not think there is any place for you to buy bitcoin at a low fee.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how many country recently accept btc? on: June 07, 2017, 02:30:42 PM
Bitcoin is legal and I dont know where it is not accepted

In my country bitcoin isn't legal yet for currency or payment method. Bitcoin is only asset like gold and others asset here. But we can exchange it with fiat because we have legal exchange for bitcoin. I hope next time my government will make bitcoin legal as currency like my local currency, so i ( and all bitcoin users in my country) will easy using that to pay everything we want.

I think bitcoin is really free in your country, although the government has not recognized it, but you can swap it like other property things, this shows its convenience, no real What's more amazing. A freedom to own property and you do not need to bear any liability whatsoever.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Android apps and widgets on: June 07, 2017, 01:24:45 PM
is there an app where the qr option works properly? currently use the blockchain app for android but for some reason it constantly crashes when trying to scan qr codes.

The blockchain system has always been a powerful system, however, due to the large number of transactions per day, and the blockchain's current block size can not meet, which has caused delays in transactions, I think they should increase the number of blocks larger, but many people do not seem to accept that.

328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Regulation on: June 06, 2017, 02:42:44 PM
With more countries accepting bitcoin and regulating it ,the current price rise is simply because more countries are accepting it and with the regulation of bitcoin in Japan we saw how things have changed all of a sudden from the price ranging around thousand dollars after the regulation the price jumped over to two thousand dollars and with more countries legalizing bitcoin expect more price growth.

Not only Japan, Korea is also a similar country, althougt the value of bitcoin in this place is more different than the price on the world market. As soon as the bitcoin was accepted by the government, the locals immediately bought a lot of bitcoin  which caused the demand for bitcoin to be too high, the market could not meet, and it pushed the bitcoin out of control.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: June 06, 2017, 02:05:57 PM
For me bitcoin was just another form of payment, another source of income, digital money.
But lately i am looking at bitcoin as digital gold, something worth of just holding for future.

i bet you were right mate. you just said what i am thinking about bitcoin.
bitcoin is a good investment for a long term./ as we can see, the price is constantly increasing.
I do not think bitcoin can be a mate, although it has the potential to be strong, and we can invest in it for a long time to make a profit, but to be honest, it's not really that good yet. Still, it still needs improvement in the future, and that perfection comes from the developers. I still wait for the historical changes of bitcoin.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: fees and small transactions ?? on: June 06, 2017, 08:37:43 AM
Indeed, transaction fees have made Bitcoin obsolete for small transactions. You're quite right in that regard. However, a number of alt-coins have much lower fees, and faster resolution, ideal for buying a cup of coffee or whatever low-value spend you might have in mind.

Do you think we should use bitcoin for small cash change transactions? I think no, bitcoin is a great value coin, its use in small transactions is wasteful, instead, we should use it for transactions in different countries, it Still the most convenient currency of all, high value, we do not need to spend too much money.
331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Purchases on: June 05, 2017, 02:08:05 PM
Its depend on how much you have if you have lots of then you can hold it or you can also trade with those bitcoin but I suggest you that you hold bitcoin.bitcoin price increase day by day so you hold it and on day you have lots of profit.

For those who own a large amount of capital, they should be involved in the business. But for me, I do not have that much capital, I just joined the campaign to earn meager earnings, but it was enough for me.

If you are a campaign participant, you can also do business without spending any money. The money you get from signature campaigns, you can use it for business, choose the right time to sell, and you will be more profitable.

I appreciate your idea, it is a smart idea, it is very suitable for all poster. We work in this forum, we participate in bounty campaigns, and surely we will get rewards from the organizers instead of spending a big sum of money to invest in the ICO. Is a form of investment effort. Nice idea!
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: June 05, 2017, 12:57:55 PM
Thats very great.Still hoping for the hotels in our country to accept bitcoin as a payment.Every country should follow how japan accepted bitcoin as a payment for the hotel. It would be easier for me to book my own room by using my bitcoins. But still the countries must also legalize bitcoin before that  Cheesy
That will certainly happen in the future, as bitcoin is well known and demand for bitcoin is increasing. And of course, if that happens, it will be very convenient for us to travel or book a hotel.

It's true, it will happen in the future, but it's still just our guesses, we can not say anything, even though bitcoin has grown and is growing, but development That's not enough to make the bitcoin eternal. The demand grows due to bitcoin adoption by governments, what happens if they ban it again, though it is very difficult to happen.
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Purchases on: June 05, 2017, 12:10:03 PM
I have some bitcoins and found a secure way to keep them. What do I do with them now?

Keep them secure and safe.  Open them after 3 to 5 years and you will see how huge is your profit.  And if you want to believe that Bitcoin will be 1m dollar a piece in 5 to 10 years then keep it and wait for that time.  Who knows the person might be correct.
I think it's been a long time. I think we should use it to generate quick profits, waiting just to make us feel depressed.

You may wish to make quick profits, however, it is always accompanied by danger. For business people, they always focus on safety, so some people choose to invest in bitcoin and they wait a very long time. You may feel depressed for that, but safety is always on the rise.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That day when Bitcoin hits $50,000.- on: June 04, 2017, 03:45:25 PM
Only God know what will happen with the value of BTC, But this is not possible because bitcoin price is steadily growing in the past few weeks with no big crashes or downfall. And almost everyone is taking now the fact that bitcoin is the future of virtual payment.

God will not know what happened to bitcoin, god is your belief, but living in the age of technology, you should not mess with god when using them. Because they are not related to God. God is your belief, but do not put your faith in this forum. The development of bitcoin depends on the market, depending on everyone.

I have some bitcoins and found a secure way to keep them. What do I do with them now?

Please store it in a hardware wallet, then try to store your private key, this will keep your money safe forever. No one can steal it. Even 10 or 20 years, it is still yours. It seems like many people want to store bitcoin for the future, it can make a profit, but I prefer to use it to make more quick profits.
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins value on: June 04, 2017, 02:03:55 PM
One factor is supply and demand. In theory, less supply and more demand = higher price and vice versa. Next one would be what a commodity/item offers to the public. Bitcoin can be used as an investment or a currency, which makes it as a win-win for the public.

Clearly, the current market is lacking in supply, while the demand of users is too high, which in turn causes the value of bitcoin to increase dramatically. Specifically, its value has doubled, and it can grow faster. However, at that time, bitcoin was adjusted value, which also caused a lot of people lost a large amount of money.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 04, 2017, 01:30:41 PM
I only have one wallet but that wallet is so legit so I did not mind or do not have any worries that I might be scammed or my priced bitcoin will be gone.  And the best thing about it, it is connected to many establishments.  Through it I can buy loads, pay my bills, even pay tuition fees.  And best of all they have rebates.  My friends used to have 1 to 3 more wallets because they do not want that their bitcoin was placed in one wallet.
I like your friend, i also have 3 wallet which i think is safe and legit. I also use 2 FA on the bitcoin wallet. Although all three are safe I still guided that do not put all the eggs in one basket, we still have to be careful

If you use a hardware wallet, you do not need to worry about anything, just do not lose your private key, your money is definitely safe, no one can steal yours. It is the absolute security feature of a wallet. However, for web wallets, they use cloud data, so you need to enable all the security features, otherwise you will be in danger.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [SHOCK] Core dev and Blockstream employee tells bitcoin users to use fiat! on: June 03, 2017, 09:18:02 AM
Users complaining about high bitcoin fees....Core dev and Blockstream worker Lukejr mocks them and tells them to "just use fiat". https://np.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6ereib/these_fees_are_unacceptable/dicq95v/

These are the people responsible for stalling bitcoin. These are the people we are trusting to let bitcoin grow into mainstream.

If you seriously haven't realized the BlockstreamCore is attempting to overthrow bitcoin and constrict the blocksize forever to turn it into a settlement only system then I seriously feel sorry for you.

The BlockstreamCore devs do not understand the purpose of bitcoin which is peer to peer cash. The have been compromised from $55 million from AXA from the former Bilderberg chairman.

Wake Up!!!  Angry Angry Angry

This is something I am worried about, if this continues and there is no suitable direction, the bitcoin may be left behind, and the other altcoin throne. Currently, bitcoin is in the development process, it should not get into any trouble. Conversely, altcoin is growing so quickly, it surprised me.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: June 03, 2017, 07:35:04 AM
Wee, I agree that in most of the countries there is yet no infrastructure developed for the regular usage of bitcoin but it doesn't mean that bitcoin is useless. We are still in the beta stage and we have yet to reach milestones. Don't forget the speed of the internet in the first few years of its invention and when you compare it with that of today's internet what do you find? Same about digital storage, computing power and so many inventions out there. Things take the time to develop and those who have faith in it are accumulating it for the purpose of profits, nothing wrong with it.

I totally agree with you, it takes a couple of years to revise invention for the betterment of everyone. Bitcoin is still taking baby steps and could take a couple more years for it to be well developed. And I don't think bitcoin is useless just because there are other countries that doesn't have bitcoin ATM or whatnot, but some countries are slowly developing their knowledge and are also trying to keep up with what other countries are having. It takes time and we should give it time and it will progress in the near future.

I recently read a news about market research that predicted, bitcoin will possibly reach $100,000 in next 10 years. I think, there are at least 500X people who have no idea about bitcoin and they will join us within the next few years which will boost the community, infrastructure and the price of bitcoin. I see a very bright future for bitcoin, especially in the developing countries.
There is not too much to explain about the potential of bitcoin, we can say that it is infinite, but in fact, it is always limited and managed by the government. Although the government accepts bitcoin, there is also a way for them to control the existence of bitcoin. Bitcoin has a bright future, but it does not think its value has increased unceasingly, 10 years is a long time, but I'm sure it can not reach $ 100,000.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 03, 2017, 05:53:50 AM
Pretty good idea. Tho you don't need to save too much, 1 bitcoin is already good. Just put it on a wallet, make it grow, I mean when the time pass by, your bitcoin grows, so when the time that your kids grow, they have money for their life.
What happens if bitcoin breaks down? We do not have any evidence to confirm its existence in the future. Although bitcoin is growing vigorously, the future is unpredictable. Our children will use a different currency smarter.
