81  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 28, 2020, 09:35:07 AM
in my opinion this government-made coin will not be a threat to bitcoin and altcoin because the government coinage coin is centralized and fully controlled by the government. in my opinion, the existence of this government-made crypto can encourage people who do not know about cryptocurrency to become aware of and eventually be interested in joining and investing in bitcoin and altcoin. so in my opinion the presence of this government-made crypto can encourage an increase in demand for bitcoin.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 price predictions on: January 28, 2020, 08:24:24 AM
every person has the right to speculate about the price of bitcoin in 2020. and I think most people always see and equate bitcoin halving today with halving before. that's why most of them predict bitcoin can reach high prices in 2020.
but I am different I don't want to expect too high because the bitcoin market is not easy to guess and difficult to predict. my prediction this year is that bitcoin will reach $ 15,000.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 07:12:14 AM
I think the value of bitcoin today is still fluctuating a few hours ago the price of bitcoin is $ 9k and is currently back down below $ 9k. I think the safe price for the next bitcoin is $ 9.5k. If later in February bitcoin can reach a price of $ 9.5k then I am optimistic that maybe in March bitcoin will reach $ 10k. I am quite happy to see the current price movement of bitcoin even though the increase is not high but it is constantly increasing.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 27, 2020, 01:50:55 PM
I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.

I think most cryptocurrency users definitely hold bitcoin and ethereum because these two coins are the main coins and also the most famous among other coins. and these two coins are very suitable for long-term investment. because the possibility of these two coins to crash is very small. and for the next coin I choose binance and litecoin.
85  Economy / Economics / Re: How regulation affects the crypto price on: January 27, 2020, 10:34:59 AM
indeed with the existence of such regulation can get direct trust from the local government that accepts the use of cryptocurrency and it will make many people start using cryptocurrency to make transactions using cryptocurrency and will have a direct impact on price movements which will increase as more and more people use it.
The government has to come up with the regulation and if that happens it might impact the market in the short period but in the long term we will have regulation and you have to deal with it in the future and in the next few years we will have a regulated market.

I agree with you with the regulation from the government maybe in the future it will make cryptocurrency not decentralized. and can't move freely like now. in my opinion it would be better if cryptocurrency remained like this without regulation and decentralized. and the existence of regulations also does not guarantee people to invest or use cryptocurrency.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price. Will go up? or Will go down below $8600? over the night on: January 27, 2020, 08:03:21 AM
indeed it is very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin. sometimes I also feel confused to buy now or postpone it. I usually wait for the price of bitcoin to fall and the next day if the price of bitcoin stays down, I will immediately buy. I didn't delay too long because I was afraid that if we delayed too long we would be too late because the price of bitcoin would soon rise again. so buy bitcoin when it goes down.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is one of the instrument of New World order? on: January 26, 2020, 05:12:12 AM
In the prophesy crypto is one of the instruments to implement the new world order because dollar will lost in the near future. I think we need to start talking about this, Lot of countries are preparing about the new world order and 2/two of all countries are not agree with this implementations and why crypto are involve on this issue?`first because of being losing a dollar currency. and 2 crypto are the best to manipulate the rate of money. What more?

actually I don't really understand what you are saying. What new world order do you mean? and should you say things like this you should display clear sources of information.
I've also seen the news that some countries really want to reduce the dominance of the dollar by using cryptocurrency. they don't eliminate dollars but only reduce.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me? on: January 26, 2020, 02:46:38 AM
You're right the number of gift projects is decreasing. because most prize hunters have been more careful in choosing bounty projects. only gift projects that have good characteristics are followed. and most investors are no longer interested in investing in bounty projects. so most gift projects cannot develop and become scam projects. and this ultimately prevents developers from making gift projects.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Digital currency of Banks can replace the Bitcoin? What is your opinion? on: January 25, 2020, 03:00:53 PM
no bank-made digital currency can replace bitcoin. altcoin which has sophisticated and decentralized technology can not replace bitcoin. especially digital banks that are centralized and do not yet have a community. it is impossible to beat bitcoin. I think that until the end Bitcoin will remain the king of cryptocurrency.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Cost $ 25,000 by 2021? on: January 25, 2020, 12:05:57 PM
we know the value of bitcoin which is very volatile is very difficult to predict. All possibilities can happen in the crypto market but I am a little doubt if in 2021 bitcoin can reach $ 25k. because at the moment the price of bitcoin is only $ 8k it means that bitcoin has to increase by around 200% to reach $ 25k. and I think it will be difficult to achieve in one year.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest 2000 People richer then poorest 4.6 billion on: January 25, 2020, 01:21:42 AM
I think economic disparities have occurred since ancient times before fiat money was discovered. and in my opinion bitcoin cannot be used as a solution to overcome this gap problem. people who have a lot of bitcoin will certainly benefit far greater than those who only have a few satoshi.
I think this gap can be overcome by a just government policy.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: January 24, 2020, 06:31:38 AM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins

yes i agree with you there is nothing wrong with altcoin. the last two years altcoin has indeed lost its value but this is natural because we are in the bear market and the trend is down. yesterday when bitcoin increased from $ 7k to $ 9k the altcoin market also rose. this proves that when bitcoin is pumping and altcoin can also pump. and I'm sure if later we are in the bull market we will see the top altcoin will pump high. so stay afloat and hold Altcoin.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 05:13:30 AM
I think it depends on where we live if we live in a country that legalizes bitcoin like Japan so we can use bitcoin to buy real estate. but in my opinion right now most bitcoin holders will not use to buy something that is not too important like real estaste because bitcoin will be reduced by half this year. so I think they would prefer to keep bitcoin than spend it.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 24, 2020, 04:13:59 AM
if we want to make long-term investments, it's better if we hold bitcoin. and in my opinion altcoin is more suitable for short-term investments. but it all depends on the user. if we have a lot of time to focus on the cryptocurrency market, it is better for short-term investments. but if we have limited time to focus on crypto it is better to make a long-term investment.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: 10M Bitcoins Haven’t Moved in More Than a Year, Highest Since 2017 on: January 24, 2020, 03:04:18 AM
https://www.coindesk.com/10m-bitcoins-havent-moved-in-more-than-a-year-highest-since-2017

Quote
About 10.7 million bitcoins haven’t moved in more than 12 months, according to Digital Assets Data, a fintech company building crypto data feeds.

Considering the total number of bitcoins in circulation is 18.14 million, this also means nearly 60 percent of the coins remained dormant and only 40 percent participated in the price action seen in 2019. The percentage of bitcoins lying dormant for over a year is at its highest level since early 2017.

“The sheer size of unmoved bitcoin is definitely a sign of the developing community of HODLers,” Kadan Stadelmann, chief technology officer at Komodo Platform, told CoinDesk.

The top cryptocurrency witnessed substantial swings last year, rising from $3,693 to $13,879 in the first six months only to fall back to $7,179 by mid-December. Thus, bitcoin just about doubled last year despite the brutal sell-off in the second half.

Even so, a large number of bitcoins remained inactive, possibly because investors are expecting a significant price rise following the mining reward halving, due in May. The process, repeated every four years, reduces block rewards by half in order to keep inflation under check.

However, if the market doesn’t live up to lofty expectations, some selling could be seen, Stadelmann said. In that case, the sum of bitcoins lying dormant would drop.

I think the rise from around $3,300 to $7,500 in 2019 was definitely people accumulating in anticipation of the halving.

Watch for rapid sales though as bitcoin reaches it's price targets.
I agree with you maybe in 2019 yesterday many people chose to keep holding bitcoin. they choose to keep waiting and hope big on bitcoin halving day. or those who hold bitcoin are those who buy bitcoin at high prices. they don't want to suffer a loss and finally decide to keep holding bitcoin.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 24, 2020, 01:46:18 AM
since yesterday the price of bitcoin has continued to decline from the current $ 9k price to $ 8.3k. so I also think right now is a good time to buy. bitcoin and altcoin are currently in red. do not delay to buy because maybe tomorrow the price of bitcoin will rise.
maybe the decline now is the whale manipulation that utilizes the Chinese New Year moment.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 09:03:24 AM

As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?
I think it will be difficult for new altcoin to surpass bitcoin. because the price of bitcoin is now very expensive and also already has a large trading community and volume. but it is possible for new altcoin in terms of technology to go beyond bitcoin. because every day technological innovation is always done as well as cryptocurrency. there will be new coins that offer better technology than bitcoin. but the new altcoin also needs public attention to be able to rival bitcoin. and I think that's difficult because bitcoin currently always dominates the cryptocurrency market.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gonna sell my stock assets and invest in these top currencies. Suggestions? on: January 23, 2020, 07:54:04 AM
I think your crypto investment strategy is pretty good. and the coins that you choose in my opinion are also good because I think ethereum, EOS, and Binance are potential coins and will likely pump when bitcoin is bullish. I suggest using 50% of your money to buy bitcoin and 20% ethereum, 20% eos and 10% binance. but all decisions come back to you that is important you have already done your research.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 23, 2020, 05:00:10 AM
honestly in my opinion bitcoin is not a good place to save our money. because the fluctuation is high, it is not certain that in the future bitcoin will pump and the price is high. and also the cryptocurrency industry is very vulnerable to fraud. to save money I believe more in gold and land. because gold and land have always been proven safe and also its value every year always increases. and also avoid inflation.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: January 22, 2020, 10:13:31 AM
we really need to save our bitcoins so that we in the future when the price of bitcoins pump high we can get huge profits. but I think we also have to use our bitcoin occasionally to buy goods or pay bills. without real use bitcoin will not develop and cannot achieve adoption. the actual use of bitcoin will also drive demand for bitcoin to increase.
