Anyone still active or running wallets?

There appears to be one active peer from the list of peers above.

I am definitely getting into this offer!

This is a working site offering 8 - 12% annual return.  Why not give it a try!

Most likely more chance of a positive return then most coins that are volatile in a downward direction.

My 5th Anniversary Diamond Kit arrived in Kanada this week!  Safe and sound, and in perfect condition.

Unpacked it and is now on display in my office.

Thank you to the Diamond team for putting together a great commemorative 5th anniversary package.

I am going to chime in and say I am supporting this coin.

As with many older and long surviving coins, I see the merit in keeping them alive and strong!

I will be bringing a Block Explorer online soon for Quebec Coin.

Vivre le Quebec Coin! Tabernac!

Big amount!!

If you read my post above, you would have read that I have identified it as a YoBit wallet.

I know this because I can trace it back from the Tx where I withdrew SOCC coins from YoBit in February.

There is nothing sinister about this wallet or having that amount of coins in one wallet address.  YoBit was most likely doing some maintenance and amalgamating all the small amounts together into a hot wallet.

Are you sure you’re pointing at the same blockchain as the Yobit source? I’ll say one thing about Yobit and that’s they’re pretty crap at updating source. Since SOCC was forked and then attacked I’m no longer sure which source they’ll have compiled.

On Feb 13th the wallet on YObit was online and I xfered out some SocialCoin to my wallet to test if they were on the right chain.

The transfer worked, that is one of the tests I perform before I dedicate any time or effort into a coin.  If the exchange is not on the right chain I won't bother.

Since the time of my test transaction, the wallet went into maintenance, but I see no reason or issues on the blockchian to cause this.

Usually, Yobit auto-drops wallets for stale blockchains to maintenance mode. This happened a lot in the beginning of SOCC when there wasn't enough hash power to push the block forward. But, if prohashing is on the correct blockchain then it looks like there's plenty of activity even today. https://prohashing.com/explorer/Socialcoin/ So I'm guessing it's something on yobit side.

Yes, and also my Block Explorer and Pool show the same chain.

Looking at on of the YObit wallet addresses, it looks like they were doing some wallet maintenance up until Feb 17th:
http://socc.midnightminer.net/address/SZEyZGhhd2ioEdy3PeXYTcB9RyUJhmrjVR

Then there was a mini pump on the coin on March 9th while the wallet was in maintenance.... not to sure what to make of the mini pump.

And on the wallet maintenance related points, what is the blockchain doing? If it's not moving, that's why the wallet is in maintenance.

The Discord group still exists and is growing. There is still a chance for what I started if anybody wants to pick it up.

@SDHarley

I thought it was because of the blockchain also, however, I have been putting hashing power towards SocialCoin in my pool and there is also hashing from other pools else where, so the blockchain is moving.  I don't see a reason for YObit going into maintenance other than something on their end.

I will keep a couple of miners on SocialCoin in my pool to keep the chain moving.

I also have a Block Explorer available here:
http://socc.midnightminer.net/

It is still sync'ing but should be up to date soon.

YObit wallet for SocialCoin is now in Maintenance... YObit has a reputation of not returning wallets back into operation.  Let's hope the this coin can get onto other exchanges to keep the coin and project liquid.

I have added Social Coin to my mining pool here:

http://pool.midnightminer.net/

To help keep the blockchain moving.

I am also setting up a blockchain explorer, it is sync'ing at the moment.  I will post the link once the sync is finished and DNS is updated.

Alternate Block Explorer is still available here:
http://bitsend.midnightminer.net/

I will have DNS nodes in 2019 added that will be including my BitSend cluster.

Maybe add a mining pool if I can find the time.

Keep up the good work!

SPACE / BTC Last: 0.00000125 in Yobit

wallet offline!can not deposit and withdraw

YObit wallet has been in Maintenance for a long time.  We have contacted YObit many times asking about the issue.

Also wondering if a wallet update will make things worse if YObit does not update the wallet also.

Bata Core 0.17 has been commited to Github - We are in the process of building the wallets. Keep tuned.

Sweet!  I will build and test on my machine.

@PC888 should I try it out on my Block Explorer?

YObit has wallet out of maintenance mode.

However, their wallet does not match the block counts of the official block explorer:
http://xmine.midnightminer.net/

I have submitted a support ticket to hopefully resolve the issue.

I recommend holding off on depositing or withdrawing any XMINE until the issue is resolved.

Working blockchain and Block Explorer are available at:
http://cyg.midnightminer.net/
The Block Explorer is still indexing but I have identified that this is the blockchain with transactions when YObit wallet was online in 2017.

you can also find more nodes by adding the following to your Cygnus.conf
Code:
addnode=68.71.58.226

Mybe yob wallet not work 3 ears ?

I have been hosting a Cygnus Block Explorer since July 2016.  I would trust that blockchain more than any other.

If you have proof of another valid blockchain for Cygnus, please share and we can compare.

Anyone still holding this coin and have not sent it to YObit yet?

If you have bought Cygnus on YObi lately, this does not count, as those coins are on a bogus chain.

I would like to get enough nodes together to fix the proper chain.

any suggestions?

I have 21 connections.

Try to set the DMZ in the router, to your IP address.

Many wallets this setting helps.

 Smiley

My wallets run behind more than one NAT firewall.  I would not recommend the above suggestion, especially if you are running on Windoze or stock Ubuntu.

DMZ setting in the router are for the network savvy.

6 algorithms for one coin, so how to start mining the Bata coin?
I have not mined any coin which has bunches of algorithm like Bata.
Please help me with code for configing my rigs.

You only need to mine with one algo.  When mining at a pool, you point your miner to the port that supports the algo you choose.

It is the same as a single algo, each pool is competing to find the solution first.  The only difference is the solution may be found using 6 different algos each with its one difficulty setting.

If you have an X11 ASIC miner you choose the port that supports BATA x11.
If you have a SCRYPT ASIC miner you choose the port that supports BATA SCRYPT.
etc.
