That is all only in theory. In practice what will happen is the miners will switch to ETC. Vitalik would be crazy to announce any definite dates for Casper's release now. That will make the ETC chain stronger because miners want long term security to operate. Casper is a threat to them.
Yeah. That is why ETC will have a strong advantage over this in the future as miners will keep the network secure, while ETH switches to PoS and would be left behind. Then, after ETH is forgotten the original chain (ETC) would prevail and there will only be a single Ethereum. I'd bet that they're planning a The DAO 2.0 real soon. Let's see how this would turn out in the long run. Just my opinion.  Are you typing without thinking? ETH will not go away even if it switches to Casper. Not all of the miners will mine ETC some will find a different altcoin depending on the price of ETC if it is profitable. I said this in another thread, what I foresee happening is that ETC will become a "community chain" with community projects like in NXT and ETH will become a "corporate chain" with venture capitalist backed projects. This will be good because each of them will have their own niche market. I think the ETH PoS will be delayed for quite long time. The development of the Casper is not fast enough. eth is bullshit right now, in my opinion the price of etc only is going to grow, there will be a new pump pretty soon that will allow me to make some good money |

Decred is the most stable cryptocurrency with regards to the price. This is the time to accumulate some DCR before it goes up on the top ten list months from now.
though i dont think it is still worth buying right now because it is just a crypto that will most probably is not going to grow, it is better to just hold bitcoins |

well I've brought them like 3 times, 1 time to gamble (and purchased wow  ) and like 2 times for some illegal stuff i have also bought some bitcoins to be honest and i think that it was a great decision as it is most probably going to allow me to make some good money |

I don't think there is a quick way to get rich with bitcoin or any other currency. It is a slow process to gain a lot of wealth. If you do it in a honest way. But if you want it fast then it will cost you alot in grief and anquish getting it doing very bad things.  But for those who are revolutionary and can take any risk, they can become rich faster within a shorter period, they work hard and earn some money and continue to work hard and invest their earned money again and again and a day comes when he will be rich. People becomes rich because they take higher risks, if you want to get rich with bitcoins then you should invest in trading and do it for more years which will take your coins to higher level. i think that you need two things. hard work and also luck. sure you can win 1000 bitcoins without hard work, but i would consider this hoping and not planing. also hard work without luck seldom works. with bitcoin the big opportunity is the early stage we are in. so learn a lot about it and put it to use. trading could be it, but i prefer to start a company and create some real value. If you are into trading and if you are aware about the price trends then you can make good profits from it, trading will help you in getting rich in future. though the price is usually unpredictable and i think that anything might happen with it, if you are unlucky then you will lose your money |

If it's illegal then call the police. They are not obliged to give you anything. Ethereum also suffered loses because of the DAO, with it's value going to 50% of what it was. I don't ask for their money, do i ? You stupid fuck.
i guess you are right one of the DAO Holders should report to the police. i am certain they get there ETC back . though i dont think that dao users will report it to the police, i think that nothing will happen, though i hope that etc is going to grow pretty huge |

True but look at what coins are above it. Ripple and two versions of Ethereum.... I'll stick with Litecoin over those, thanks. litecoin is a dead currency right now, even though i dont own it i still want it to grow though because the more cryptos grow the bigger it is for bitcoin |

That is right. If you do not like the Ethereum, just stay away. If you miss the initial offering, and still think it is good, buy some. well i dont like eth though i still do some trading with it because right now is the time that can make me some big profit out of trading eth and etc, though eth is going to lose value over time while etc will grow It is OK to trade between ETH and ETC pair. The volatility is very high, so there is potential to make good profits. You can go for a long-short strategy depending on which you think will be the ultimate winner. Of course, these are leveraged bets and your capital can get wiped out quickly if you get the direction wrong. ETH will be the ultimate winner as it is supported by most of the community. But I might trade ETC in short term. I'll hodl all my ETH and the ETC criminal coin. I won't sell my ETC criminal coins because I believe all true ETH hodlers and believers should abstain from the ETC criminal market and deny the market fluidity. im holding both of them either, in my opinion the price of them is going to increase a lot in the near future and it will make me huge profit easilyy |

I think that it's very hard to do, you need to be really lucky to do this with gambling, or super patient to do this with trading way, but trading is also require experience.
of course trading requires a lot of experience, in my opinion if you would do it when you are newbie you would lose a lot of money, i would just gamble it all instead |

Well the price of bitcoin now is keep on rising so I guess if you are going to buy bitcoin the right time is to buy at low price. Don't wait for it to increase so that you aren't going to feel sorry when its too late. It is very easy to remember that always buy at low price and don't wait for it to raise to higher price. The bitcoin price might trade around $580 for a few more weeks. After that, it will rise to around $660. yeah, it will grow a lot pretty soon thats why i buy a lot of bitcoins right now, i think that in this way i would manage to make some good profit out of it |

You can earn 5% daily in trading but you must focus on it to get profits. In trading if you do a short trade you can earn a 5% daily. But if you do for long term must be not daily earn if you sell it bigger than 5% is you can earn. So if i were you choose the long term not daily but your earning is bigger. You may earn your income here and your another investment.
i dont think it is possible with trading, you might lose money with it either because sometimes it is just like gambling, i wouldnt risk my money too much to be honest |

In this moment when price for bitcoin fell down cause of Betfinex hacking it's perfect time to invest in bitcoin. The price is low now, but slowly it getting higher, so soon everyone who are buying bitcoin by the low price can earn with price difference for bitcoin. And that way is the best for investment by my opinion.
But i think people who are willing to invest in bitcoin should still wait for sometime because maybe the price drops a little more before it starts growing, so in that way they would a little more dollars profit if they wait. the price is not going to be dropping any more because it already went down a lot, i hope that from now on we will only see some positive trends and nothing else |
